I’ve just returned from international travel, but had to also let y’all know while I was gone, I had a dream that Ronn Moss had been rehired to reprise his role as Ridge and that Kaye had been shown the door!😂😂😂

And I was arguing doctors must have found a treatment for his inability to remember dialogue after his accident.

Well IT WAS a dream!

Then, as I’ve been fighting jet lag, came across a documentary on Gloria Allred, and one of the cases she had that was shown was her representing OG Taylor in her lawsuit against Melrose Place for firing her because she was pregnant-yet kept Locklear and hid her pregnancy. But they showed a clip of her and Moss’s Ridge (no dialogue-just Ridge approaching her from behind) and it broke my heart that such hotnesss/sexayness was replaced by someone who looks like a homeless schlub, who doesn’t even have a scintilla of Moss’s charisma.

Steffy wasted so much time on her big master plan when all she apparently needed to do was take the papers out of Carter's desk and tear them up.  Wouldn't they actually need him to sign it back over, since it was made clear when they had Justin looking into things that Carter had filed the papers?  

Hey, Carter? "If the line is improving it would be a bad business decision to cut it," is not them giving you their word that they'll keep Hope and her line. How stupid are you?  I hope Ridge turns around and fires Carter next week. 

You just know that, underneath it all, Brooke was thinking that, if the Daphne/Carter kiss ends Hope's relationship with him, Carter will probably give back the company, and she can try to get back on that hobo dick.  I hope he still shuts her out and stays with Beige. 

Poppy and Luna - On the one hand, no, Luna, Poppy is not responsible for your crimes. But, on the other hand, Poppy, no, Tom and Hollis would almost certainly not still be dead (at least not at Luna's hand) if Luna had known Finn was her father her whole life. The entire reason she killed them was to keep people from finding out that Tom was (allegedly) her father. Had you not kept Finn from the truth and led Tom to believe he was the father, those circumstances would never have existed.

Honestly, Luna needs to be a constant presence in Steffy's life. It would give her something to do other than complain about and harrass the Logans. I have no idea what is going through Bell's mind with this show. Steffy is practically Bold's Poochie, even when she's not onscreen(which is no longer than 2 minutes an episode), everyone talks about Steffy. Tridge are as unbearably hypocritical as they are boring, Carter is a spineless whimp, who is now leaving Hope holding the bag for his own plan, Finn is equally spineless, Daphne The Teenage Witch, is a Tridge level hypocrite (easy to see why she's Steffy's friend). The only positive thing on the show, was watching the Tridge Mafia's utter shock and horror of seeing someone outside of their family, walk away Scott free from their crimes. Give 'em Hell, Luna!

I’m a little late to the party. I left Alabama on Friday because of the storms. 

On B&B nobody goes to prison or if they do, they don’t stay  long.  

The pseudo Foresters keep proving that they are really low life sewer dwellers.  I wouldn’t put it past Stuffy to get Luna in trouble by any means. 

So Carter ripped up the LLC papers. It really doesn’t mean anything because they are filed with the state.  If I was Carter, I would have HFTF and Hope named in the new LLC filing. 

 

Next week:  I wish Luna and Shiela would team up and give Stuffy much more grief than she gives them.

Drop him and his shit off with Pepe, Hope.  Let her have him.

It was quite a rollercoaster but far more entertaining than Carter handing his balls over to Stuffy (how she has room for them in her handbag with Finn's and Liam's and likely Bill's (since he insta-threw Luna out when Stuffy pitched a fit) jiggling around in there, I'll never know.

He chose a bromance with Ridge, over a romance with Hope.  Carter became the only lawyer in LA with ethics; but how ethical is a person who professes to love and support Hope but in essence is nothing more than a back stabber.  In the back of his mind, Carter is ready to dump Hope and pick up with Daphne.

Did you know that researchers have stopped using white mice in their experiments and start using lawyers because there are things that even white mice wouldn’t do.

Again, with the claiming that tearing up a piece of paper means that the Forrester's are back in the saddle, once the amended LLC was filed and registered with the office of the Secretary of State in California, it doesn't matter who tore up that piece of paper and Carter is still the legally registered head of FC - so maybe the Forrester's saw Carter tearing up of that piece of paper as a symbolic gesture and expected that attending to the legalities would follow, but maybe, just like Eric and Ridge's promise to keep Hope as the head of Hope for the Future, the fact that Carter did not put his intent to turn the company back to the Forrester cabal in writing can be put into effect when the Forrester's kick Hope to the curb.

The show may as well be renamed "Everybody Loves Steffy". Never have I seen a character like her on a soap, and them not ending up humiliated, or the victim of a murder mystery. Hope suffers for Carters plan, but he gets off Scott free, Brooke will still have the "pleasure" of working for Steffy, and watching Tridge make out in the office probably,  Ridge will still be as cruel and hypocritical as his evil daughter, and the show will act like the Tridge Mafia are who the audience should root for.

I'm out too. The gaslighting is just too much for me. Carter is easily the worst partner ever and Brooke needs to be deprogrammed asap. But they pale next to Steffy. 

It was fun coming back for the Finn/Luna reveal but this show... I'm mainly mad at myself for coming back. Unless there is twist coming in the next day or so (like Carter refusing to file updated paperwork) I'm not sure what could salvage it. But at least I can reclaim my dvr space. 🙂

I really hope that Hope overhears Pepe and Bitchy talking about how Carter can never find out about their plan.  Then, she can sit back and let his dumbass get head over heels for his skunk love, wait until they're all happy and ready to get married (which shouldn't take long, since Carter has been desperate for years), and then drop that little bomb on them for an engagement gift, then reveals that she's fucking Steffy's Husband (because, come on, we all know that's coming).  

Brooke, you're a disappointment. You had one shining moment of having any kind of spine around that hobo, when you slapped him.  But now you're going to beg and turn on your own daughter to try to win him back. I hope he sticks with Beige. I hope you somehow end up witnessing them beige-fucking. Or maybe Steffy can trap you in a gondola to watch them get married.  You'd probably follow Steffy right to that gondola and get right in, because you're so damn focused on kissing her ass, like there's some level of personal humiliation you can absorb at her hands that will prove to her asshole father that you're the one for him. 

Don't worry, Zende, I'm sure your fierce loyalty to those assholes will result in you being allowed to fetch Ridge his sketching pencils now that your cousin has cut your line. But, hey, as a  bonus, you get to watch your newest crush cozy up to another man at the office every day. Score! 

My wildest fantasy for this show?  Steffy gets drunk on power after this stunt, thinks she's invincible and decides to get rid of Luna. She kills Poppy and tries to frame Luna for it, but Sheila proves Luna's innocence and Steffy's guilt. Steffy loses her husband, her kids, and her freedom. Even if they just send her offscreen for a nice long break in a psychiatric hospital, I'll take it.

You "don't care" but you care just enough to ask real people not to express their valid displeasure & anger over the writers allowing Steffy to be a lying, bullying, scheming, hypocrite once again and no other characters are allowed to call her out or interrupt her revisionist tirades, on top of her not facing any real consequences for her actions? Despite your see-through disclaimer, I know you're one of the few people on this forum that like Steffy, so you see little to no problem in how she talks to or about people....But the rest of us do, so please respect that.

However, if anyone really wants to see less Steffy criticism, I would implore anyone to spam the DMs and/mailboxes of Bradley Bell and his yes men hacks to stop this one-sided, lopsided BS storytelling in favor of Steffy, and her shitty parents instead of asking other viewers to do anything or censor themselves to make others feel better. It's simply gone too far, and cookies and milk ain't gonna help, unless you think that's all Bradley is missing from his diet and adding such items will make him write better. Because he's the one that needs to change, not us.

It's amazing to me that this show is on the same network as Beyond the Gates, one that gives more narrative grace to a woman who is now married to her former best friend's daddy than this show gives Hope for existing. And it's not like Hayley is getting a blissful happy ending --sge is very much in the Find Out phase. But the Duprees (besides Dani, the scorned ex-wife, understandably) aren't dragging her every day and she's allowed to stand up for herself for things like Dani breaking into their house on their honeymoon. 

There's a balance that has not existed between Hope and Steffy since before JMW left in 2013. The misogyny is one thing but the it's truly the one-sided wins for me. No character should get to run ramshod over everyone. It wasn't fun to watch when it was Nick Marone doing it in the 2000s and I enjoy him at his worst far more than I ever have Steffy at her best.

@Waldo13 my app is bugging out and I can't seem to find your quote about Carter having his is handwaved but on that tangent: even if I believed anyone believed Hope lured him with her feminine wiles...why would they keep such an easily compromised doofus on payroll?! The next pretty face--and there *will* be a next one--could be a lackey for Bill. It could be Sally Spectra when she leaves Genoa City. Amber is a know grifter whose suckered in two Forrester sons (three if we count Marcus). Hell, it could be any of Sheila's daughters. And y'all wanna roll the dice with that?

Wednesday's episode was so disgusting. I don't even care what it's leading up to, even if there is something worthwhile being led up to. Most likely it's not. It went too far. Those people were hateful. I don't care to see bullying like that on any show period. For any reason. I am almost ready to kiss the show goodbye. My love for Sheila is the only thing keeping me right now. But I will be watching with one eye closed and one foot out the door.

My wish is for Hope to snap and find her dark side and join forces with her father's wife and his step-granddaughter. And form Deacon's Devils.
