I don't think Luke would run off with a kid because he wasn't really a kid person. He loved his own (regardless of the crap we were fed at the end), but there are other ways to irritate a Cassadine that he'd do before taking a kid.

I'm pretty sure that Charlotte was always meant to be Lulu's, but I'll bet you Nathan was supposed to think Charlotte was his a lot longer, but then Bree got another job. Which would explain them dumping Charlotte on Griffin for a bit.

Am so sorry that Brad and Tracy actors have to support the Hatechel and Finn mess, which is so utterly unlikely to ever happen in our lifetimes. I just FF it, and the cage scenes and Freako too. Hardly any part left to watch except Lulu's and Nina's baby rabies.

Are we supposed to suspect that Valentin is really Faison déguisé? I love that Valentin speaks to Charlotte in French so Lulu and Nina can't understand.

I just don't want the character to ever turn into his skeevy father. Once Sonny only did x thing once too . . . then it slowly snowballed. And unfortunately being connected to Sonny makes him extra susceptible to the writing Sonny gets. (For instance, if he weren't Sonny's son I don't think they would have randomly had him be so assy to AJ for no reason. And he weren't Sonny's son I think he would have gotten more accountability in the cheating story, which would have made the whole thing leave a less bad taste in my mouth. Also, I'm also convinced Rocco was a boy because it was Sonny's first grandson, but that may be a reach.)

No thanks. A) I'm so sick of the women being only put in mental hospitals on this show (although I guess there is Morgan now), and B) if you think Lulu worrying about babies is annoying, her worrying about getting Laura's curse is even worse.

and aurora2 is right - only fans keep bringing up the cheating. Once Lulu forgave him, she stopped bringing it up. She and Valerie even did an act at the Nurses' Ball together (which was ridiculous on both their parts, actually.) If Dante's afraid of Lulu throwing his cheating in his face (which I don't think he is even thinking about), he's got no one to blame but himself.

My quibble is the fact that Nina doesn't speak french. Her mother is german(ish?) And she most assuredly made sure that Nathan learned french(at the very least). But she didn't bother with her pride and joy Nina? WTF?

You have to give to them for the Finn/Hayden storyline for going old school soapy. If they didn't fart around with Finn being overly arrogant until someone found a Merck book and Googled WebMD to give this disease some background, and if they gave us characters that we gave a damn about, this would be magic. At least the Tracy/Hayden scenes are worth the view. Oh, wait. They could have Tracy/Wig-On-A-Stick and it would be golden.

So, Franco locks up Tom to make him violate his probation to send him back to jail, and he forgets his brother? Silly Retconned Rapist. If that actually worked to get rid of Bad Guys, Sonny and Jason would have done it by now.

Too bad we saw Valentin get AaaaaannnndSonnyandJasonDefeatHimIn3Seconds, and have his IDon'tCare Daddy Issues. Playing off Lulu with Nina in a round of Good Cop/Baby Rabies Cop is genius.

I continue to enjoy the hell outta Valentin. I am very intrigued by what's going on with him in relation to Anna, even though Anna is the worst now.

ER played Lulu as so unhinged during some parts yesterday, but I can't tell if she was supposed to be coming off that way or not. Like with virtually every other story, I don't really understand what the writers are going for here.

My fave part of yesterday's ep was the clip of Lucy/Kevin/Laura in the promo.

Hey Lulu, maybe your cop husband should explain the term kidnapping to you. But since he won't, allow me: taking a child without her parents' consent. Yes I know Valentin allowed Charlotte to go with Lulu, but he also made it clear that she was expected home that night. Lulu deciding she would not return the child to her father is not even custodial interference. And she can't say 'well I'm her mother' because technically she was only an egg donor, even if involuntarily. She has no legal right to Charlotte. Valentin is her only legal parent right now. Besides, the kid has no freaking clue who this nutjob is and didn't even want to go with her. She only went because her father told her it would be okay. 

I cant believe I'm siding with Nina, but damn she was right to compare Lulu to a kid with a new toy, and being unwilling to share.

I'll patiently wait for the writers to come up with some retcons to explain:

1) How and why Claud came into the picture. I assume she was the carrier pigeon, but surely Helena would've hired someone a little less flighty and nutty, and probably would've killed them after they gave birth.

2) How Valentin found out about Charlotte and why Helena allowed him and Claud to raise her.

3) Besides burning down his school (which Claud probably didn't know about) and killing Nik (which happened long after they agreed to their...arrangement), why exactly was Claud so afraid of Valentin?

4) If Valentin wants to remain in Charlotte's life, why is he staying in town? Why did he admit to being her father? He had to know Lulu would do everything she could to keep him away from Charlotte. 

5) Would Valentin have told Lulu about her child if she hadn't stumbled onto the truth herself? If yes, why did he wait so long?

This.  Valentine's story should be a Cassidine story.  Alexis, her girls, Jason, and even Julian and Sonny (Kristina is his daughter and Molly is his niece) banding together to fight against Valentine's evil doings.  It would be a great umbrella story that could also involve Laura, Tracy and Anna.  But instead we get Nina and Lulu and baby rabies.

Lulu is going off because Valentin come and cut her time short with Charlotte, but didn't she do that herself when she  handed the girl over to Anna and Emma?   She wasn't concerned about spending time with her daughter then.  The hypocrisy of the supposed "good" characters just gets to me.   She isn't giving a thought as to what is best for Charlotte--it's all about Lulu.  GRRRR!

How refreshing it is to see Kevin and Laura act like adults and communicate open and honestly. I love how sweet and supportive they are to each other. But I hate how Lucy keeps inserting herself; they should really keep her with Scott, they're a much better match.

I wanted to vomit watching Liz simper and cuddle up to Franco. How kind of Franco to release Tom after kidnapping and torturing him. Good for Tom that he figured out how to give Franco some much needed retribution.

I'm so tired of Anna's wide, crazed eyes as she struggles to puzzle out Valentin. 

Dante deserves a medal for having to talk Lulu out of being unreasonable. I don't know how he puts up with her brand of crazy. I wonder if he ever thinks about how much simpler his life would be if he'd stuck with Valerie.

Lulu was sending off Charlotte to play with another little girl, which is actually probably the best thing for her right now.

@dubbel zout, and the annoying thing is, Ron probably didn't even care, but thought the fans wanted it or something. Or actually maybe he thought Maxie should have a girl, and he didn't think both babies should be girls. I get that, but actually now that I think about Maxie having a boy would have been a better choice too. Watching her wonder what the heck to do with a boy would have been funny.

I may be in the minority here, but I like Hayden and Finn and I love the snark that was going around today.

It was nice seeing Dante actually being the voice of reason, today. It happens so rarely.

And while Anna has been driving me crazy, lately, I give her credit for not having Emma snoop.

• Dante finally got a chance to bitch-slap Lulu figuratively into realizing that Charlotte probably has greater loyalty to Valentin now instead of instabonding with Lulu.
• How does Laura rate being on the hospital board? As the new millionaire in town, doesn't Valentin have a better chance than Laura?
• So Emma wants to be a mini-spy now? Send her back to California to do her homework and forget about spying on people.
• Since sepsis is primarily bacterial in origin, why can't Finn or other medics just give Hatechel a hunkload of one of the miracle antibiotics? Penicillin comes to mind.
• Liez knows better than to assume Freako is well and can be trusted with out the benefit of therapy, jail time, etc. She's just a victim now.
