Look at Hope go! Brooke is stunned when her daughter gives her an ultimatum about Deacon. There’s the missing spine we were so worried about that we wanted to send Hope to a specialist! YESSS, to all of this, as it's what I've been WAITING for. Hope to find her backbone and her voice.

When Ridge hires Justin for another job, it’s to get the goods on Sheila and Deacon. Eep! Will he get the 411 on “SheCon’s” fake romance… or will he end up on the wrong end of the she-devil’s wrath for poking around in her business? (Wonder if she still has that beekeeper’s getup… )

Continuing her “my way or the highway” tour, Hope shocks Liam with her decision about Deacon’s role in their lives. Will her declaration leave the husband and wife at an impassable, er, impasse? Even if Hope is being boneheaded, shouldn’t Liam stand by her, given how many ill-advised decisions he’d made over the years? The answer to that last one is a resounding "YES!"

Liam is conflicted by Hope’s decision and request. Which you’d sort of expect, given that she’s rarely asked a whole lot of him aside from, “Saaay… do you think you could maybe, just maybe, refrain from sleeping with Steffy?”

Though Jack invites Sheila to lunch, he then hides when Finn arrives. This is likely a precursor to his secret being exposed, wouldn’t you think? Surprisingly, Finn still hasn’t asked Sheila who his biological father is. Are we the only ones who feel like it’s strange that he repeatedly remarks on being curious about his mother his whole life but seems ambivalent about the identity of his dad? So TK will be back on canvas.

Speaking of Sheila, she’s running around like someone large and in charge. But given her knack for making enemies as quickly as she does threats, we wouldn’t be surprised if she wound up modeling the spring collection of toe tags. She'll just turn up alive again, so what, exactly would be the point?

One can presume he's already throwing Hope under the bus, in true Forrester fashion. Better get them started young!

Joking aside, I'm grossed out by how involved this kid continues to be in his dad's love life. Maybe if he hasn't almost been slapped for spilling the beans on Beth and hadn't seen Thomas gaslighting him in the past this could've been a "cute" inquiry, but my lukewarm reception to Tharis aside....just let this kid be a kid. 

Also, since Thomas is "cured" and it appears Thope is as dead as disco, will Thomas ever get custody of Douglas back?

Hope can be a pill that doesn't listen to good sense but in this case, her "stubborn" routine is well earned. Not one person in her life has fuck shit to say. Not her mother who couldn't used the pill, not Ridge who has blatantly favored his own demon spawn even as they bullied her, and certainly not Liam who....*waves hand* do I have to say anything?

When Deacon and Hope realize that they have common interests, it’s anyone’s guess what they’ll turn out to be since Brooke’s straight-arrow daughter isn’t into drinking, running cons or blackmailing people into having sex with her.

Answering our previous question, Deacon and Hope practice father/daughter martial arts together. Deacon’s been into a lot of things through the years; who knew one of them was karate?! Perhaps he watched Cobra Kai in the big house! Anyway, it remains to be seen if, after so many years of estrangement, these two will be able to forge a new level of trust based on their interaction in the dojo. I am actually loving this as SK studied karate in real life. I'm also hoping he shows up on Cobra Kai someday. 

Grab the tissues! It’s been a long time coming, but the beleaguered and emotional Thomas is finally reunited with his mother. Grab the puke bag is more like it.

Taylor recounts to Steffy how Deacon and Brooke’s affair affected Ridge back in the day. This is curious, given that Ridge and Brooke weren’t together at the time — so we’ll be waiting with bated breath to hear what she has to say on the matter! Yeah, this is really fucking curious since they weren't together. But goodness, St. Taylor the Teflon will fix her mouth to pontificate anyway. If the goal was to make me despise the newest incarnation of the not-so-good doctor as much as the old, well, great job, TPTB!

Check… but not checkmate?!? News of Taylor’s unexpected return throws Brooke off her game and will undoubtedly revive the long-held feelings of animosity that landed them a spot in our countdown of Bold & Beautiful’s most unforgettable rivalries. Yes, because nothing makes for must-see-TV like two women in their fifties fighting over a greasy, unkempt, sloppy, original waffles without the syrup man-child.

Ridge comes to the stunning realization that Hope isn’t the only Logan woman that Deacon wants to reconnect with — the other is his wife, Brooke! Umm, maybe he’s been distracted by Taylor’s return because this seemed pretty obvious to the rest of us.

When Deacon and Hope’s sparring session is unceremoniously interrupted, we can only hope that it’s Ridge who walks through the door of the dojo — and that he’ll challenge his rival to a match! Will the dressmaker get his butt whooped by the con?!? How is this even a serious question? He's out of shape and older. Deacon will kick his ass six ways to Sunday. Thomas and Sheila fall in love. (That would actually be kind of fun to see Taylor, Steffy, and Ridge's heads collectively explode.)

Paris discovers she is pregnant by Carter.  We will see a soap first -- an wedding where the groom does double duty as the officiant. 😄 Grace and Zende turn to each other to commiserate and sparks fly.

It is probably something anti-climatic like the label-gate reveal.  (Yawn!)  The only good thing to possibly come out of that is that both Taylor and Brooke decide not to take the greasy hobo back right away, and butt-hurt, he slinks off to International with his tail between his legs.  Cue for TK for FINALLY go on his six-month sabbatical. Hey, can we stretch that into a year or two?

I have seen photos with Ashley Jones on the set, so maybe Bridget is coming back? I don't really see what good that would do. There is no way that Bridget would ever get back together with Deacon. I thought she was happily living with Owen and Jackie and Logan. 

I am always happy to see Bridget, but I don't want another drive-by appearance like the last couple of times.  

I would rather see a new story for one of the existing characters. BILL? QUINN?

I think it’s going to be over-hyped nothing. Remember when Thomas was supposed to die in the vat of chemicals? Both Steffy and Ridge will need to be off the show for a bit show could do something interesting like have them both be on a plane that goes down via Sheila’s tampering. It will probably be something boring and stupid per usual.

While I adored Brill, I've given up the hope they will ever be together again (well, at least I have their amazing reunion in Sydney to look back), so I would be willing to see a Still redux just to have Bill back front and center again.

Boring Libbity Bibbity would be gone as would be his mother, Sheila, who has worked my last nerve. Well, her and Grace. But Deacon could absolutely still have shown up the way he did and perhaps there is a chance for a Breacon reunion. If AJ has been seen on-set (it could be for the 35 anniversary), I would love it if she was back on canvas period, but even if for some scenes where she tells off all those laying Brooke low over NYE and say in no uncertain terms that she forgave them a long time ago and hers is the only opinion that matters, so the rest of them can screw themselves and mind their own business.

So I’m seeing spoilers (nothing confirmed obviously) that Finn will be caught in the crossfire between Steffy and Sheila and will end up dead. 

Which, if true, sorry TN, although he’s just so wooden. But ugh to a possible resurrection of the ToD 2.0 when 1.0 is already plaguing our screens.

I can't even pretend to be surprised by that, and I suspected Finn's days were numbered the minute she showed up at the wedding. JMW gets her Emmy reel for 2023, Sheila gets another rivalry and Bell can say "Welp, I tried ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" and go back to the ToD. And now Steffy has a kid that won't be blood related to the Spencers and Logans so when Wyatt and Flo pop out their own hellspawn (ugh) or someone other than Thomas knocks up Hope (please!) , Hayes will have a built in love interest.

Inevitable resurrection of the ToD notwithstanding, losing Finn is not a loss to B&B. The character was dull as dishwater and his grand romance with Steffy read more like a self-insert fanfiction off of Wattpad. If and when they do introduce another non-Spencer love interest for Steffy, I hope they give the bloke an actual personality to work off of her with.

I guess a mother killing her own son is ground-breaking for this soap, but the loss of Finn (a character who was never fleshed out, and one of Sheila's FIVE children) is not. He never really met his potential as a character, and the most interesting member of his family is the one the show never bothered with: Li. I wonder if she will return for his funeral or be relegated offscreen, too heartbroken by grief at losing her only child in such a violent manner.

I liked Dr. Liberty Bibberty but I don't think he was given that much to work with as Finn.  Perhaps he should have been written as another doofus character like Vinny (RIP).   If he is offed, at least the actor got a nice paycheck and perhaps he'll show up as another character on Y&R.

That's an interesting spin and I'm all for getting rid of Liberty Bibberty. However, a hard NO to another ToD 2.0. (Like, right ... )

Logistics-wise, it would make more sense for Steffy to get shot and have her in a coma for several months, since JMW should be going on maternity leave soon.

Of course, everybody knows I am no Steffy fan, so I would be perfectly happy if both Steffy and Finn bit the dust. I am sure that Liam and Hope would welcome Kelly (obviously) and Hayes into their brood.

It would need to be crystal clear, though, that Sheila either got killed herself or permanently shipped off to prison to prevent her from any chance of ever getting custody of Hayes. A custody battle between Taylor and/or Tridge and Jack and/or Li would be a whole lot more interesting, and would add another layer to the Bridge/Tridge mess but we can't have nice things ...

Watching yesterday’s show: anvils are dropping with retrospectives of Finn and Steffy’s great love. I do like Biberty, and think their great romance was hampered by all the distancing in the early stages due to the Covid protocols (and by horrid writing). I think he’s improving in his acting, but he would probably be better in a comedic role.

I’ve been thinking that this is where it’s going. $Bill is a fan fave, & he hasn’t had a story in months, bordering on years. The Batie ship has sailed, & Destiny is rearing its’ obnoxious head, for the foreseeable future. Plus, DD has said that he thinks Steffy is $Bill’s perfect match. I’m hoping that they get a legit shot. I don’t particularly care for Steffy, but…

1. A Still reunion will give $Bill/DD screen time.

2. They’ve really never been a legit couple, let’s just try.

3. Most importantly, Steffy in a relationship will hopefully keep her out of the ToD 2.0 for a minute. 
 

As soon as Steffy & Finn had their romance night & sexy times, I knew he’d be dead soon. Judging by how much tongue the actors add to their kissing scenes, they’ll probably miss each other.

I don’t watch, but I know his wife Kayla Ewell is on Roswell as well. Also, they are expecting their second child this summer so it’s possible if he stays with B&B he will be on paternity leave soon.

When Sheila threatens Thomas to keep his mouth shut about her secret, he’d be wise to do so. Heaven knows the madwoman isn’t above killing to keep her misdeed from coming to light! At this point, she has as much blood on her hands as skin!

Miracles happen: Brooke, Ridge and Taylor have an unexpected moment of peace and understanding. And all it took was Finn dying and Steffy landing in a coma to bring it about. Does this mean Taylor is going to stop clinging on to still-married-Ridge for dear life? Doubtful.

Taylor makes a valiant attempt to talk a guilt-ridden Sheila off the ledge. 

In their darkest hour, the Forresters rally around Steffy as she lays unconscious in the hospital. OMG, I cannot take much more of the tongue-bath Steffy. When I couldn't care less about her being shot or in a coma, what does that tell you? Epic failure on trying to make her the heroine of the show.

I haven't thought about this old ass meme since 2017, and it's not nearly as overused as this plot is, even if it  hadn't involved the most tiresome triangle since the Riverdale Gang.

EDIT:  I was so mad about this,I completely glossed over Quarter 2.0.As much as him and Paris don't do it for me...hard pass on any resurrection on that. It is dead.

This may or may not be an unpopular opinion, but Steffy still thinking she's married to Lame is not Lame's problem. Certainly not Hope or Brooke's problem, I can't shake the feeling that if the situation was reversed Hope's recovery not being Lame's priority would be a no brainer. Get Steffy a therapist(not Tayloon), be patient & supportive (from a distance Lame) and keep it moving. JFC Sharon from Y&R is starting to look like a more legit source of counsel than Tayloon.

Wouldn't Steffy be shocked that a marriage of her lasted more than a year let alone a marriage to Liam?

On one hand I get Steffy being so traumatized by Finn's death and her loss that she has amnesia but I do agree with the opinion on Twitter that for her family to go along with the lie that she's still married to Liam and not allowing her to mourn the loss of a husband that she loved and loved her is a bit insulting to Finn and Sinn. If Steffy's kids aren't enough of a motivator for her to accept the reality of Finn being dead and moving on and living for her kids then I don't know what to say. These people praise Steffy like she's Xena The Warrior Princess and yet treat her like she's such a fragile little thing it's a bit jarring. Yes, support and protect your daughter but coddling her into accepting a lie to kick the can down the field of her accepting Finn is dead is insulting to the strong woman you say/believe that she is and shows a lack of faith that she can rally.

For cases like Alzheimer's where there is no hope of recovery, it's not gonna achieve anything to continually correct that one but that's not the case here. Kelly's gonna ask questions and certainly Douglas will spill the beans because that's all he exists for xD

Apparently KKL broke and dislocated her ankle this weekend. She had surgery to put in pins, rods and screws. She is planning to return to work later this week.

I read that today. She was out training for an upcoming 50-mile riding event. She was leading her horse down a steep and rocky trail and KKL tripped over a rock and that's how she broke her ankle. At least she wasn't thrown from a horse again! One of the soap newsletters had KKL's IG videos of that day of her and 2-3 other people riding on a trail in Malibu and at the end, shows her lying in her hospital bed. Glad it wasn't a worse injury.

Coincidentally, I was watching the tail end of season 2 where Brooke mentions getting into a car accident following her fight with Ridge after announcing her pregnancy and someone in the comments mentioned that bruise was real, following an accidental wth horse riding. And now that I think about it, KKL had had a LOT of riding accidents over the years, including two broken arms! 😮

I am definitely glad she is recovering well!
