And I can totally see her murdering Vinny for screwing over her son. Shelia don't play.

The legs of Shelia as Finn's mother are long and have great potential. Recast Taylor so she can come back and lose her ish that she and Sheila share a grandchild.

Steffy thought Quinn was the mother-in-law from hell. Hoo boy.

All this is conjecture but damn would this twist be fun.

Absolutely this. Hoo boy indeed, and a HUGE karma payback for every shitty thing Steffy has done and gotten a pass on. I've heard it said from many a long time viewer Sheila's introduction to Y&R was the first time many felt one iota of sympathy for Lauren Fenmore, the bitch on wheels heiress who made current mean girls like Zoe and Steffy and Summer Newman look like Christine Blair in comparison.

If Sheila got her to heel, I can only imagine her going to town on Steffy and I'm here for it. Given the yellow brick road that's passed for Sinn's stale relationship, it's the least we viewers deserve.

Hmmm, Shauna as his mother would give her more legs as a character as well; and give him conflict with Flo since she hurt his beloved Steffy by facilitating the sale of Phoebeth. Steffy would have to swallow accepting both Shauna and Flo into her life - yet another Logan.

I'm down with either Shauna or Shelia as options; it gives Steffy story that isn't around the Spencer men for once. If Sheila is involved it goes back to old school Forrester history. But if Sheila's the winner, Taylor really does need to come back because her absence is felt across the canvas as both her kids deal with life changing events.

I could totally get on board with Sheila being Finn's mother. Yeah, Kimberlin Brown has kind of raised my eyebrows in recent years, but eh ... she still brings it as Sheila. 

I would love to have her mix it up as the MIL from hell with Steffy and WTF can't Taylor be recast? Is HTy on some kind of long-term contract that Bell is afraid to break? I know she has a history of being highly litigious, but the character is sorely needed and has been now for years. 

Shauna as Finn's mother would be a snooze and what? Another child by an unknown father? It would probably turn up that $Bill has another kid and this time it really is with Shauna. YAWN. That reflects poorly on both parents. 

Steffy has already dealt with Quinn as a MIL when she was married to Wyatt, which is partly what broke up their doomed from the start marriage. 

Also, if Queric dissolves, that leaves the door open for tangles with Sheila, Donna and Quinn (if she fights to get Eric back). Even more interesting would be if Eric decides to pursue Shauna. But if DR has limited availability, then why bother to write Shauna into a major storyline ...

Now if Sheila is in play, I wouldn't put it past her to switching the results and killing Vinnie for messing up her plans. She originally was the one that messed with Bridget's original paternity.

That child is Scott Grainger Jr.  He was last on Y&R in 2018.

Meh, Flo can shut it with her shock over a measly extended one-night stand. AFAIC she will never have anything remotely near a moral high ground given her resume. And I hope the show isn't going to use the word "affair" because in my view, that only applies when one or both of the parties are married. Shauna and Carter are both single so at worst, if it had actually happened, I'd call it a tryst. Now what Quinn and Carter did was an affair, both emotional and physical IMO.

My first reaction to this Justin news, if it's true: WHAT THE ACTUAL FCUK?!!!??

On the one hand I'm glad the actor is getting a juicy front-burner storyline after having been unused or poorly used for so long. But good grief, apparently this is his swan song because I don't see how the character survives this. Either Justin will end up dead or prison or permanently disappeared.

Still, even if Justin did kill Vinny, that doesn't change what Bill did to try to cover up Liam's car accident, or Liam sitting on his culpability for so long. I'll be curious to see how those two get vindicated, or at least spared prison time. I'm still expecting Thomas (or Ridge) to decide they both have been punished enough so no more jail time is necessary. Just like the treatment Flo got.

As mentioned above, it appears Justin's going out with a bang cuz this is some Victor Newman circa 1980 shit he's pulling and not being attached to any major family, he's more easily disposed of than most. Which is too bad because he's been so terribly neglected for the last 10 years since he came onto the show once his entry story about being Donna's baby daddy was wrapped up.

That hasn't been must watch TV since Storm took the dirt nap. That's not a diss on HT by any means, she had A Brand™ and there's a reason why Y&R fandom considers her the definitive Victoria Newman despite her replacement now being in the role longer than she was. But Good GOD, it is ALL Katie is ever allowed to do these days! Either that, or look like a sourpuss passing judgement on people, like her lunacy of spying on Quinn when she wanted to boink Eric herself (that was thankfully dropped before it went that far, but geez).

If Paris wanted to get the news out all she has to do is just hint about this with Katie and let her do the rest. Story done.

Me seeing Thomas being as cruelly disregarded as he did Emma and Caroline and even his own son:

He had it coming like Velma Kelly's husband and sister and I'm not losing a minute of sleep over it. Maybe after this ordeal, the empathy and compassion that was written into the character in 2017 after he met Sally will actually stick this time.

At any rate, it sure is nice to have something new happen on this show, even if Justin's going away for a long time afterwards :(

Carter has some cahones to officiate Quinn and Eric's vow renewal ceremony. But he sure will be front and within Eric's reach when the ish goes down.

In addition to Zoe leaving, I wouldn't mind at all if "Quarter" left.  Once Quinn gets busted (and I hope it's literally busted, thanks to Brooke), I don't know what else they can do with her because I think Eric should finally be done, she should be packing her shit, and gone.  And Carter is useless, so yeah, I wouldn't mind if they went off together to make a new life somewhere.

Already locked up in a cage with no amenities, we can’t imagine what other indignities Thomas might have to endure. But it would appear that we’re going to find out, because rather than call off his whole cockamamie scheme and release his prisoner, Justin vows vengeance against Dollar Bill and Thomas suffers the consequences.

Pass the popcorn… and martinis! All hell breaks loose when Eric unleashes his anger at Quinn for her betrayal. We’re almost certain that she’ll get tossed out of the house (along with her portrait!), but will she lose her job at Forrester Creations as well?

This one’s gonna hurt: Paris admits to a heartbroken Zoe the truth about Carter’s affair with Quinn. Will the ultimate betrayal drive the misled model to leave town? We suspect so, given that this is Kiara Barnes’ last episode as Zoe.

Justin attempts to quell Hope’s suspicions when she finds a clue about Thomas. Will the curious blonde buy his story… or will her Nancy Drew-ing land her in the cage alongside Douglas’ daddy?!

Well, it looks like Hope didn’t buy Justin’s story… at least not entirely. After secretly following Bill’s legal eagle, Liam’s wife is shocked when he leads her to a captive Thomas.

Flying by the seat of his pants, Justin feels the pressure build when Ridge demands information about Thomas’ whereabouts. Will Justin be able to cover his tracks, or at this point, is there simply not enough dirt in the world to brush over them all?

In a race against time, Hope struggles to free Thomas before Justin returns. If she fails in her mission, Thomas could wind up with the onetime object of his obsession as a cagemate!

Hope is stunned when Thomas informs her that Liam is innocent of any wrongdoing in Vinny’s death. Which is great and all, but it doesn’t answer the question of will she be able to put the information to good use before Justin catches her trying to release his prisoner?!

Ironically, just as Hope discovers that there is proof that her husband was set up by Poor Dead Vinny, Lt. Baker notifies a devastated Liam that he’s being transferred to a permanent prison. Although since we can’t imagine Liam really serving a lengthy sentence, maybe “permanent” needs to go in air quotes.

How about this; maybe Finn is actually Bill's kid and Wyatt is not. Quinn could have put Bill's son up for adoption because she couldn't afford to keep him, and got pregnant by someone else later on, but couldn't let her second son go and kept him. Finn being Bill's son would send Ridge into a rage blackout, because now, both his grandchildren are also Bill's grandchildren, and his daughter is engaged to one son, and his step-daughter is married to the other. It would also rock Steffy's world considering how she couldn't get away from Wyatt quick enough once Liam returned; all based on the fact that Quinn was his mother. 

Or maybe Quinn did keep Bill's kid, and Wyatt is truly his son, and due to financial hardship Quinn agreed to be Finn's parent's surrogate? It wouldn't be as special as Finn being Bill's, but still having Quinn for a mother would rock some boats.

While it is definitely unbelievable that either Liam or Bill would still be in jail and not out on bail, I guess it can happen that you can be in prison without ever having a trial.

With poor kids with the misfortune of ending up at Riker's Island, sure, but two wealthy dudes who would have long find a way to post bail? I can't suspend my disbelief that far, not even on a show that pushes Liam as the sexiest guy to ever sexay. And for first time offenders at that? Yeah, no.
