S04.E11: Tommy Davidson/Corey Feldman

Recommended Posts

Tommy Davidson's fiancee leaves behind her quiet, family-focused life and swaps places with Corey Feldman's girlfriend, who's used to wearing pajamas and lingerie all day and eating a diet of just fruit.

Too bad I took a shower before watching this, because after an hour of Corey Feldman, I need another. With bleach. This skeevy, batshit crazy man is the very definition of "legend in his own mind". And has anyone -- besides Corey himself -- ever really compared him to Michael Jackson?

What the hell did I just watch? Honestly I couldn't tell if Corey was playing some "character" or if this is how he truly is now. I was grossed out and also kind of sad, especially when they showed that small clip of Stand By Me. He was trying way too hard to come across as "weird" and "eccentric." He really, really wanted those MJ comparisons I guess. His "maingel" didn't seem *that* weird compared to the other two, and I thought she was sweet with Tommy's kids. More power to her for being a fruititarian. It's not the most out there diet I've heard of (at least she wasn't a dumpster diving fruititarian) but if that's truly her diet she has a lot more self control than me. The contract thing was truly bizarre and I was so weirded out by it. And that "one strand" thing he had with his hair looked so gross....

Tommy Davidsons family seemed pretty low key and down to earth so not much happened there. I liked their family a lot.

This episode was difficult to watch. It was like Corey Feldman is trying to be a poor man's Hugh Hefner - and doing it poorly.  It was just disturbing.  I'm really icked out by this.  I didn't care much for Tommy either though.  He seemed like he was looking down his nose at every one.  Did I hear it wrong or did Tommy imply that his girlfriend was not too bright?

I could see by the epilogue that nothing changed at all for either couple.  This was a total waste of time.

They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel with Corey Feldman, JHC that douche thinks he's actually helping these bimbos?  Are they making any money?  They would probably be better off financially working as strippers.  It looks like he wants to groom them for porn (even if it's soft porn, it's still porn) and he gets a cut.  He is NOT Hugh Heffner and he looks like an asshole with the string of hair hanging down the side of his head.  What an asshole.  Show me the MONEY, Corey Feldman, what are you actually doing for "your angels"?  "Ick" is so spot-on.

It's good to see that the drugs haven't changed Corey. {eye roll}  I got 5 mins in and had to tap out.  I just can't watch Charlie Sheen 2.0

Corey wishes he could reach that high to be considered Charlie Sheen 2.0.

Has anyone ever compared him the Michael Jackson. Uhh...yes. But, when people are doing that, it has nothing to do with talent. Back in the day when he was real popular, he was constantly showing up to events dressed like MJ. There are at least two movies where he broke his MJ dance moves in it just because. He loved dressing and dancing like MJ so people mocked him for it a lot. He still kind of does appear to be looking like him at times as well.

I need to have bleach for Corey's side of this swap.  Does he think he is a Hugh Hefner, Victoria's Secret, Charlie Sheen, Charlie's Angel's incarnation?*  I just wanted to grab a butcher knife and whack the strand of hair off his face.

The contract, the rules. WTFF???  He ain't all that!  He has no mansion or company or money to sustain this.   Those "angels" will soon get too expensive to support and then be left with their lack of education to continue on.

God bless Tommy and I hope his family continues to thrive.

*Michael Jackson, my ass!

Corey grossed me out, too, but when I remember stuff like this, it's hardly surprising that he turned into a messed-up adult.

I liked Tommy even more than I thought I would. I also enjoyed his little dig at the Wayans family business, even though I love them too.

That link is to one of the saddest, most depressing articles I have ever read.  I haven't seen the epi yet but I don't think I could ever snark on either Corey after reading that.  Jeebus.

Yikes, what a creep Corey is. Just ugh. I was surprised that his "maingel" seemed actually smart and nice when she shut down. Fruitarian? WTF? How was she getting any protein at all. Wait, don't answer that... nudge nudge wink.

I liked the family Tommy made. He said he'd had the crazy before and wanted the calm so he got it. I loved his wife. She was so smart and self sufficient. I also liked that he wasn't into nepotism.

All in all, I agree that I needed a shower after that.

He makes Charlie Sheen look like an angel.    Ugh I've never seen a more disgusting person on tv.  I don't believe he does anything to launch any careers for the obviously stupid women who sign that contract of his.  Women desperate for fame will do anything and this pervert is leeching on them.  How ABC could air and show him doing that.  I saw 10 minutes and had enough.  I feel bad for the wife/girlfriend who had to be there as a swap.

Yes, Corey was very deliberate and gimmicky. And gross. Unfortunately, he was also the most exciting part of an otherwise boring episode. Which is a big let down because I really like Tommy Davidson. But too much of the drama seemed manufactured.

Omg...this episode was beyond pathetic. Feldman is seriously one of the biggest losers on the planet. And those "angels"? Oy...they wouldn't even make it in gonzo porn. Utterly unattractive. The blonde was especially awful. Her look of 'feigned indignation' when she was in "business" attire was hysterical. I honestly think that Feldman needs serious therapy. He can't be THAT lacking in self-awareness, can he? Wow...

He was single white femaling MJ big time.  The only problem is that he had none of the talent.  I remember that he had a big falling out with MJ, because during 9/11, because MJ sent a van to pick up all his friends from NYC and did not include Corey (he said this in an interview).

I think we all remember his performance last year at GMA.

I guess Fieldman's greatest achievement is that he did not end up like Haim.  Fieldman is the poster child for why you do not want your kid in this business.

I've missed the last few of these but Corey Feldman is clearly BSC insane, which always makes for a good CWS.

What is the deal with celebs/pseudo-celebs/various hangers-on that wear pjs all day, every day?

LOL - I guess one is considered "creative and wealthy" if one doesn't need to entertain the task of getting dressed for the day.

It was Corey who implied his girlfriend wouldn't 'get' Tommy's jokes.

That's who he was trying to emulate with that greasy clump of hair? M.J.'s was at least a curl...
