Sansa looked so pretty in her wedding dress, but it sure felt like a dirge.  I was miserable through that entire segment, I know I won’t rewatch that.

You don’t know who you’re messing with Cersei, bitch!  I can’t wait for Lady O to prick her with a million thorns.

So many games being played this episode, I have whiplash, but mainly just sick from that ending.

And nice seeing Adebisi/Mr. Eko again.

I felt like that was a well-done episode.  I also don't think it was particularly entertaining.  I'm in it for battles, dragons, and political intrigue.  I can do without the unchecked sadism and religious fanatics (especially that- I get enough of that elsewhere, I don't need it all over my fiction too).

Adebisi! Good to see your crazy ass. If nothing else, you should spice up Meereen.

Poor Sansa. She just needs to survive the Boltons.

Cersei will never learn. She overplays her hand even more. I look forward to Olenna taking Cercei down.

Clearly, the writers' have no idea what Arya's story is so they are dragging it out.

Ugh. Time for Ramsay to die a thousand deaths.

Tonight sure upped the stakes.  I wonder what Doran will do with Ellaria and her Snakes... plus the unexpected bonus of Jaime Lannister!

Lady Olenna is going to burn King's Landing down, yo.  Poor Tommen. Didn't even have enough gumption to save his wife.

Alright Stannis, time for you to get to Winterfell!

I've never wanted more characters on a show to be stabbed so many times.

I really thought Stannis would ride in during the wedding. Stupid me thinking that poor Sansa was going to get out of this physically unscathed.

Now get to the stabby stabs, Grandma O and Sansa/Theon!

Bronn pretty much summed up my feelings about the Sand Snakes.

Love me some Lil Whale Rider, but they're annoying so far.

I hope for Bronn's sake, they didn't take after their father and their weapons were dry.

I look forward to Lady Olenna wrecking shit in King's Landing. No wheat for you! Even Sparrows gotta eat. Stupid Cersei.

Who knew there were cock merchants?

I don't care about Arya's story line. I just don't care.

Theon needs to go ahead and commit suicide by murdering Ramsey. It's the only path I see for even the tiniest bit of redemption for him.

Wow thanks show, give us a scene where Sansa shows she is in fact a stronger character than before only to have her violated a few scenes later by another sadistic man child. GRRRRR!

Where's the wine?

Edit: Ok, now that I have had a glass other thoughts

The Sand snakes were just so dull; do not care. They really should have had therm appear in one more episode before this for this to matter. On the upside with Jamie's discovery and having pissed off the Tyrells, Cersie's downfall will be that much worse. I best take my joys where I can get them.

WHOA That was quite an episode.

So Cersei has managed to bring down BOTH Loras and Queen Margaery.

That meeting between Cersei and Olenna was TENSE!!!!  "The Famous Tart tongue of the Queen of Thorns", Olenna "The famous Tart, Cersei Lannister" LOL.  If it had been in purported modern times I would have advised both ladies to put their earnings in their pockets. lol.

Round 1 goes to Cersei.

And OMG Littlefinger let Cersei know that Sansa IS in Winterfell.   The man's playing a deep game and I honestly SHUDDER to think of how it will end.    And with that lead in.........Sansa looked BEAUTIFUL in her wedding dress and attire.   She looked exquisite and the setting for the wedding looked beautiful.    ST's acting was spot on this episode, I loved the way she handled Myranda.   The tension between her and Theon was very well acted as well.  AA did a great job, he hasn't seen Sansa in so long and seeing her like that, you could tell his heart was breaking.    Ramsay and Sansa have a bone-chilling chemistry in that you really feel like you are watching a predator with it's prey.

I actually liked the sequence with the Sand Snakes tonight.

Great Episode.

Poor Sansa.

Ramsey needs to die, painfully. Sansa and Theon should team up to destroy Ramsey.

Lady Olenna better squash Cersei like a bug. I will be very disappointed if the woman who went toe to toe with Tywin Lannister gets out played by Cersei.

Looking forward to the Dorne stuff, mostly because I want more Alex Seddig. Beyond that it's a very week story, it's just going too fast, especially when you compare it to the game being played in Kings Landing.

I'm at a total loss as to Balish's game. Why did he reveal that Sansa was at Winterfell? Will he kill Sansa to become Warden of the North?

I had to track down a shitty livestream for the first time this year so I could stop anticipating that bedding as soon as possible.

Cletus, wherever you are, I thought of you when Bronn finally gave us the 3rd Westerosi song. I guess before Tywin slaughtered the Reynes, all they had were dirty ditties about licking bears or fucking Dornishmen's wives.

The KL plot is really heating up, glad Cersei's plan had more of a direct aim against Marg and that weird down-for-a-3way vibe between her and Loras had some payoff. Also glad to know LF is as slimy as ever and isn't really betting all on Stannis.

Also glad to hear Jorah learn of his father's death and Tyrion's meeting him, they haven't really touched that father/son dynamic since s1. Tyrion staying alive til they can find a dwarf cock merchant has to be his zaniest escape from death yet, but at least Jorah will get to see his beloved watching him in the fighting pits. Well, if she attends with her new beau, but he should be used to seeing her with other men by now.

I don't really know what to say about the sickening Winterfell wedding, which definitely did bring flashbacks to Dany's fun honeymoon. Um...at least Sansa tried to stand up for herself with Myranda and Reek, and um...the snow-covered godswood looked pretty. The rest of it was worse for me than any of the show's grisly deaths, no head smashing, or fetus-in-the-belly stabbing could feel as disturbing than Ramsay fucking Snow deflowering Sansa.

Well, the person Littlefinger cares most about in the world is Littlefinger, but I believe he cares for Sansa as much as he does anyone who's last name is not Baelish. I believe he is playing the long game. He expects to be able to take the North from a weakened Baratheon or Bolton army and from there he can outlast any army who tries to take him in on in the winter. He would be halfway to the Iron Throne.

Wow what an episode.

Cersei, you are such an idiot, you can't see the forest for the trees. Olenna is going to have you for breakfast. Her threats weren't veiled at all, she called you a "tart" and you just know she's gonna give Cersei her due. Margery is her baby, you don't mess with Olenna's family.

Sansa please please turn this around, I did like the smack down she gave Myranda but I hope she heeds Paetyr's advice and makes Ramsey hers whatever that means. Baelish is observant and if he says Ramsey is smitten, I think there is some truth to this. Don't cower Sansa, please hold your head up high after that humiliation and take the Boltons down. Play the game. Truth be told, I'm sure many a marriage in Westeros had the husband just consummate without much thought to the wife, but I doubt there was a witness in the room. Poor poor Sansa.

Baelish is playing a long game, he knows Cersei can't go to Winterfell so he gets warden of the North and I think in the end he will get Sansa for himself. He will manipulate that to make it happen.

Arya's story is moving at a snails pace. She's hasn't really done much in 6 episodes.

So this is the new Myrcella, personally I preferred the old one. This one just didn't do it for me.

ETA: I need a shower after that last scene

Doesn't Littlefinger know the north can't be held by an outsider? Cersei said that in the first season, which is why she promised it to him.  Yeah, he plans on marrying Sansa, but even if she becomes a widow there's no advantage to her in marrying the perv who forced her to marry the psycho. I hope Littlefinger suffers when he dies.

Yeah, I assume his endgame still involves having Sansa as his own wife instead of giving her head to Cersei. We shouldn't take anything he says to Cersei at face value since he did help murder her darling boy. Once he has an army take out Stannis, he doesn't really need Cersei's blessing in a place she's not willing to send a Lannister army into. But it's good to know he doesn't really want to ally with Stannis after speaking against him to Ned in s1, and knowing in s2 that even that foolish usurper Renly would take his head off without a prior agreement. Seven hells, I want that snake to die more than any of the Boltons or Freys.

Kept waiting for Theon to snap and stab Ramsay in the back. He has nothing to lose. If ever there was a moment...

People say Cersei isn't smart, but she sure played Margaery. Remind me, this whole plan with the Sparrows was payback for Margaery laughing at her the day after the wedding? Or was it more that Margaery had usurped her position? That's some elaborate long range plotting right there.

Not sure what Olenna can do in the short term. Long term, she can make Kings Landing hurt, not that Cersei would care for that. Cersei cares for Cersei and her own, nobody else.

The fight scene in Dorne was almost comical. Jamie is there to rescue his niece who doesn't want to be rescued. At least he and Bronn being on the scene prevented the Sand Snakes from snatching her. Ellaria, do you seriously think this is what Oberyn would have wanted? You sure didn't know him.

"I'll never hurt her" says Ramsay. Ugh. That scene lasted 30 seconds too long. They didn't need to spell it out. Theon missed his chance, but I have to believe he's going to (a) let Sansa know about Bran and Rickon, and (b) help her in some way to get rid of Ramsay. Otherwise this part of the episode is sheer torture porn.

God dammit, I thought he'd pretend to be nice for a while. Guess there's no reason for him to do that once they're married, but I never wanted to jump through the TV and save someone more than I wanted to jump through the TV and save Sansa just now. :(

It makes me wonder if Ramsay's creepy girlfriend, what's her name, was actually trying to do Sansa a favour by showing her what they did to Theon and telling her what happened to Ramsay's other partners.

He still has some fingers and toes and other appendages left, his tongue eyes etc., even if he managed to kill Ramsay on the first try with his maimed hand, they'd still be surrounded by enemies to make his end as long and painful as possible. If a quick death after murdering Ramsay was an option, he probably would have taken the chance back in s4 when he had a knife to Ramsay's throat. Roose may not care about his bastard but that doesn't mean he'd thank "that creature" for offing his son.

Fun fact: Myranda mentioned an ex named Violet getting preggo which I believe was a reference to the actress who partner with her back to seduce/torture Theon back in s3, that actress got pregnant and that's why she never came back to the show after that.

I've been watching Outlander which features so many attempted rapes that, if they were a drinking game, I would be dead.  Nothing was ever as creepy as Sansa with Ramsay.   Ramsay may think he has completely broken Theon.  Until now I would have agreed.  I think Ramsay woke him back up.  This is going to be very, very ugly.  Oh wait, it already is.

"Theon, of House Greyjoy"

That took my breath away.

But the rest of that wedding scene was blasphemous! This sham of a marriage taking place at Neds weirwood tree, Sansa looking beautiful in that northern dress but marrying a monster!

I'd like to see a happy wedding there. For one of the Stark kids. Any of them.  Gendry, stop rowing!!!!

Especially since Cersei promising him the North won't amount to much because Olenna will take her and Tommen down.  I don't expect that the Lannisters will have control of King's Landing for much longer.

I've never wanted more characters on a show to be stabbed so many times.

When Sansa started fiddling with her sleeve (after Ramsay told her to get undressed), I hoped against hope that she'd pull out a dagger.

Then I hoped against hope that Theon would come to what senses he has left, and attack Ramsay. Oh well, I can still indulge my fantasy that Ramsay will be hunted to death by rabid dogs.

My reaction to Cersei had simmered down to disdain and contempt, but at her smirk at Olenna, after engineering all the grief for house Tyrell, the old hate is back. Olenna, however, will fight back, and that will be glorious.

Arya's soothing speech to the sick girl was chilling to watch. She's getting the games they play in the house of black and white.

The whole sand snakes/Jamie and Bronn/Myrcella coming together in a perfect storm seemed forced and farcical.

When Sansa was undoing her sleeves I just kept waiting for her to pull the dagger out of one and shank Ramsey to death.

And then when that didn't happen I just kept waiting for Theon/Reek to jump in and save her.

I have never held my breath so long in my life as I did on Sansa's walk to the weirwood and then ... what happened after.

Goddamn you, Show.

Roose was introduced by extolling the virtues of flaying prisoners to Robb, so yeah, I think he got up to his fair share of flaying when he wasn't hanging his own subjects and raping their wives. Someone taught Ramsay the family business, I doubt any Bolton is into simple beheading. He only objected to Theon's Reekification because he (wrongly) thought Theon might still have value to Balon, then in 5.03 he eventually agreed that Ramsay was left no choice but to flay the Stark loyalists to death.

I hope the old gods are angry about what happened in that godswood now that there's a Stark back in Winterfell. Do they only bother to turn people into rats for breaking guest right? This has gotta be worth some kind of crazy curse.

I fear he might be worse than Joffrey.

Joffrey was a cowardly little punk who only made a bunch of rape threats to Sansa and only killed Ros when she was trussed up for target practice, he'd be helpless without his white-cloaked armed thugs. Actually, he was helpless by the end there, wasn't he? Maybe Ramsay can get taken out by an old woman no one suspects too. C'mon, North Remembers lady, time to back up your words with some poisoning! The Bolton maester has to have some nasty potions in his stores, I'd think.

Ramsey is much worse than Joffrey who was really a coward. Ramsey doesn't need guards, he'll get things done himself.

I had forgotten about Arya's speech to the little girl, that was the best part of her storyline tonight. Chilling in how easily she lied to get the girl to drink the water. The room of faces, how does it work. I assume they have access to all those faces but what happens if they come across someone who knew the person with face they took?
