A weight set has been shown in the boys room.  No bench, just a bar and weights on the floor. They also have a chin up bar. Jonathan has also been shown having a chin up bar.

Manly biceps seem the focus. Arm wrestling seems the only competitive activity they engage in.  

From the pics of arm wrestling at Olivia's birthday it looked like Sam U El has built some sort of table specifically for the manly arm wrestling.

Yup...those (and a bunch of others I can't recall off the top of my head) basically come from people not reading much. Frankly, in quite a number of cases (such as "deep seeded", the pronunciation is pretty much identical, and the meaning of each phrase also more or less works whichever word is used. So unless someone writes it down, there's no way to know how "literate" they are, and the spelling could actually transition completely without much of the population even being aware of it. I know there are a couple of idioms out there which, given that the original wording was rather archaic, did sort of make better sense with updated language. Of course, I can't recall those either, but I know I've seen some lists, and been quite fascinated by the evolution.

Let’s not forget the always popular “skiddidh” instead of skittish. 
When I was in law school we had a professor who was always racing to make it to class on time. One day as we were all seated and waiting for him to burst in at any time, the girl sitting next to me said “He always looks so dis-heevaled.” I assume she had read the word disheveled but didn’t know how to pronounce it. 
Guess it works both ways…

Any word with double Ts is bound to be mispronounced with the D sound. I got busted doing it with "button." It's very common.

And now everybody uses the word gaslight, and sometimes they overuse it and use it incorrectly. I’m an old movie fan so of course I know where it came from (and the original play before it). But these dummies just like to say it because it has become all the rage. Jill is too out of the loop of the real sinful world, so of course she’s probably never heard it, or she would be throwing that one around all the time when she’s on her persecution rants.

Jill has been quiet on social media.

Tonight she posts how busy the print shop is with constant orders and joyfully serving children.

She inadvertently shows 11yr old Sadie feeding tracts into the "stitching" machine with Renee.

They have placed a screen in front of the 20 gas cans now so maybe it is safer and master electrician Dave has seemingly drilled through a door to run a wire.🤦‍♀️

I can remember my aunts talking about their friend that was "snatched bald" by the corn harvester on the farm.  Apparently that was a somewhat frequent accident many years ago.  Their hair would get caught in the machinery and was pulled out by the roots.  The women were literally scalped.  I can see something like this happening to the Rod kids.  I wonder who Jill would blame if there was a terrible accident with one of the kids.  Jill would spin it somehow.  Maybe she would laugh and take pictures like Michelle did when one of the boys fell into an orchestra pit and was seriously injured.  Safety does not seem to be a priority in this family.

Doing this printing is apparently spiritual warfare! She is fighting the devil while they are doing this. That sounds really scary and paranoid. Imagine thinking that the devil is always over your shoulder when you do anything remotely religious? Their thinking freaks me the F out.

Also, they were invited to the inauguration. WTF, how many people got that invitation and where are they supposed to go? Like part of the crowd? She has politely declined. Which only means that a vacation to Florida is coming up at the same time. This girl ain’t gonna miss Nurie, the beach, and fully clothed swimming even for her hero.

David is DELEGATING.   The ear protection is to show HE is in charge.    This is David’s big moment because everyone knows Jill is usually the alpha…..but not when Big Dave is wearing the ear protection.
 

and yeah normal kids are usually alot more animated and loud.    But then the Rods aren’t normal.  They are “chosen” so their only  responsibility is to God.   Besides if they talked what would they talk about?   They don’t read.   They don’t watch tv/movies.  Heck they can’t even really gossip about other people because they don’t socialize.  These poor kids can only talk about who loves God and Mahmo more.

Satan gave them all the trots. Dave was the last to be affected (Jill blamed Nurie's kids) and bravely worked the press and the folder through his illness. What a trooper!!! 🙄

So my daughter had the spiritual warfare stomach virus right before Christmas. It made her super sick for about 12 hours. So sick she couldn’t pick herself up off of the bathroom floor. She was up and moving the next morning and at her retail job later that afternoon. So unless DBD was projectile purging from both ends while running the press, chances are he was either perfectly fine while working or milking it for a fresh box of Little Debbie’s.  Or this didn’t happen. My money is on it not happening.

How did Jill manage to rope Kaylee back into the Plexus corral? I was hoping Jonathan had put his foot down about how much Kaylee was spending to buy samples of Plexus junk. OK. I know Jonathan isn't one to put his foot down about anything, but he's supposed to be the headship of his family, and Jill steps all over him.  

Jill is taking advantage of Kaylee for her own benefit. She wants that cruise and that trip to Dallas. She wants to move to the gemstones. She doesn't care that Kaylee will spend money she doesn't have on a scam she'll never make a dime on. Jill will see to that.

well Janessa was at least the only one shown with ice cream. Hopefully if they all had the stomach bug they all got an ice cream if they could keep it down.

I am surprised mama didn't praise herself for having the pleasure of serving everyone like she did that time they were all sick while visiting mayberry.

Jill's reason for wanting to go on that cruise is to show everyone how she is the chosen person.  She wants to stand out in the worldly crowd.  She thrives on any attention--good or bad.

Jill so wants to be with the higher ups at these things, that's why she makes so mush effort getting pics with them.

I actually did see Kaylee as one of the top earners this month. Do they go to the same church? Maybe Kaylee suckered in some of her church members.

In the picture it looks like she’s losing an eyebrow. And how do you youngsters managed to get your eyelashes so long without clumping? I have a terrible time with the bottom lashes and trying not to get raccoon eyes. I tend to get watery eyes. All this makeup they wear would be off of me in no time.

A few years ago, Nurie and Kaylee were in an auto accident. Jill showed up at the ER, snapping pics of the girls as they lay on backboards with cervical collars while they were getting Xrayed to see if they'd broken their necks.  She posted multiple photos of their bruised and bloodied faces.  Amazingly, despite their terrifying accident and obvious injuries, both girls had full faces of makeup including freshly applied lipstick in the pictures.  Pretty hard to slap blush on your face when you're strapped to a backboard.  Thank God Jill arrived to comfort her traumatized daughters by applying makeup to their faces and taking pictures of them to post online.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more selfish parent than Jill.  Her kids exist purely as props for her ego on social media.

The one thing about this story I kind of love is that David was sick too, and Jill made him get dressed to go walk around Mayberry with the rest of the family. He went, as ordered.

Sooo...on balance, does his having to obey outweigh having an extra body out there spreading a virulent stomach bug? Meh... it's a low bar. I suppose that as long as they pretty much stayed in a group it might not make all that much difference, but if they behaved like a herd of cats out there it really could have spread far and wide.

Check out a tubing mascara.  It applies with the same type of wand, but instead of mashing the mascara on the lashes, it coats each lash in a little tube.  And, you take it off just by using water.  Thrive Causemetics used to make one, and I know Benefit makes one as well.

Thanks for the lash info. Funny you should mention Thrive. I do have a mascara from them that is supposed to be waterproof, but I find that it comes off too easily. Like I said, my eyes run a lot, different allergies. Maybelline has always been the best one for me, but I still have trouble separating lashes.

I'm still laughing at plexus curing rectal itching and vaginal infections and uti. like no. I had to take antibiotics twice to get rid of my UTI. I was miserable. I don't think plexus would have helped me at all.

if things itch take a shower first with soap.

This looks like it could be medical advise to me.  Unless it has a high alcohol content, I very much doubt that it would help depression, or allergies of any kind.  Plexus is just like the old patent medicines without the alcohol or opium.  I'm not sure of the ingredients, so I don't know how much actual harm it can do (except convincing people to stop taking doctor-ordered meds or treatment), but I am quite sure it doesn't "cure" anything.  It does take people's money, and I'm afraid that many people are sacrificing their real meds or treatments to pay for it.

I love how it emphasizes "severe" -Jill's favorite word- allergies.  If you have only mild allergies, you're SOL.  

The only thing Plexus is probably good for is a colonoscopy prep.

How is plexus letting her get away with making these claims.   The company itself could be exposed to legal liability.   There are laws against making medical claims because of the abuses with the old time patent medicines.
