I think Bravo's biggest mistake was waiting until 2024 to air this season. They should run it in the summer or fall last year, while tensions and passions were hot..

 

I thought the next episode in San Francisco with the Ariana/Sandoval confrontation we saw in the previews was the season finale. The cast said so when it was filmed.

I think part of the reason for the pause is Ariana will be shooting Love Island for part of the summer and won't be available to film.  They tried doing a "redemption" season for Tom and I think they've realized they completely and the majority of fans are not fans with how this season played out and how they tried to change the narrative that Ariana is somehow the awful one.  The show still does really well in the ratings and so many shows are flopping on Bravo right now I think they'll want to bring it back.  Just please don't send Lala and Scheana to the Valley.  That cast is already too big; adding them would be a big mistake.

Ariana is awful. It's just that Sandoval is worse. I think this show has run it's course. I stopped watching before Scandoval season, quit during the JAX/Brittany wedding season since I can't stand them. I came back, like many people, for Scandoval but, honestly time to move on. I have stopped watching again.

And the other Tom was one of those narcistic evil 'good' guys right from the start. I've always found him even more odious than Sandoval and I still do. I’m thinking too that production is really tone-deaf but will continue to double down and favor the male cast members, particularly the Toms, and are doing a longer hiatus before next season to make it easier for the Sandoval redemption arc to happen next time.

This will probably be an unpopular opinion but I think the guys are just more interesting as tv characters.We've seen "Lala" drag a skank home from a bar, talk dirty with him (🤢) and try to make him into a "thing" by calling him "The Don" but no one cared. 😴. Ditto with Katie and "Satchel" 😴 (Sorry for all the quotation marks but I just can't with these "names"! 😄) Katie tried with Max, but he's not allowed on the show anymore so all that did was score Schwartz some more camera time.  Schwartz had Jo and we were all interested in her, and I bet we and the girls on the show will all be gossiping about the new girlfriends too!  The guys may have been idiots getting their bar open, but at least it's a real place that is open and people have been to!  Sandy's band may be a joke but it opens up more settings for interesting things to happen (unlike Scheana's living room.) And finally I think they are still actually friends, while the girls are all just here for the Bravo $$ and it's getting more and more obvious.

Be curious if that can be proven.  That exhibit 2 seems to prove she said he did, not when (or if) he actually did.  Pretty sure that would require greater meta-data.

You know what cracks me up about all of this shit? That Raquel now has forced Ariana to publicly declare that she saw Raquel masturbating on a phone video. That? Cracks me up, because Raquel is batshit cray thinking she has a case against Ariana in any way, shape, or form. When I heard Raquel went to some rehab place (am I remembering that correctly?) and then would no longer be on the show, I gave her kudos for removing herself from the show because most people (I'm looking at you Shep, you gross PoS), claim to 'get help' then go right back to being the same old assholes they were before their alleged rehabilitation. As I understand SHE (Ariana) shared it with herself, which is technically sharing it, and she was sending it to others from his phone.

The Bravo Docket podcast lawyers believe, after reading the documents, that Ariana used her phone’s camera to record the FaceTime video off Sandoval’s phone. She sent it to Rachquel from her phone, along with the text, You are dead to me.

While they were arguing in the alley behind TomTom, Sandoval grabbed her phone. Her driver’s license and credit cards fell to the ground. She had to gather them before chasing after Sandoval. During this time, he deleted her recordings of the FaceTime video. I think he even deleted it from her text thread with Rachquel.

Ariana asserts that she did not send the video to anyone from Sandoval’s phone. She was in a bathroom stall, and there were women waiting to use the toilet. 

The Bravo Docket attorneys laugh that, along with all the pain and anguish Sandoval caused, his actions also adversely affected several women who needed to urinate.

Which is exactly why the revenge porn laws were created.  Woman sends porn to woman who created porn, intending to shame.  Also letting her know she has access to it and could/did send it to people she knows.  

Extremely messed up for Ariana to do that.  Heat of the moment, extreme hurt and anger, of course but that’s not an excuse for these actions.

It’s definitely scary, and I get Rachel’s concern. 

Do we know definitively whether or not Ariana sent the video to anyone other than Rachel herself or threatened to?

There is a big difference between sending the video to Rachel herself and sending it to others.

It probably wasn’t the smartest move on her part, but I can imagine seeing an explicit friend of your own friend having phone sex with the man you’ve loved for like a decade would fuck you up. It sounds so traumatizing, and Rachel should be shamed for what she did. However, she never deserved revenge porn. I’m just not clear if Ariana had any intentions other than letting Rachel know what she saw. 

Cheating or not, I suggest not having phone sex people! It’s such a dangerous thing to do. You never know if you’re being recorded it and where the footage could go.

To be fair, Ariana would not have known Tom screen recorded the Facetime video w/o Raquel's consent. She sent it to Raquel to let her know she'd seen it, so she wouldn't even attempt to lie or deny. 

IMHO, while revenge porn laws are super important, I don't see where Ariana (or even Tom, much as it pains me to defend him) distributed the video. Had they, I would fully understand the lawsuit. As it stands, it seems like money grab to me. Much like Raquel's initial threats to Scheana re: the alleged "assault".

I agree with both paragraphs. It’s interesting that that night Ariana learned how truly cruel and horrible Sandoval was, and then, soon after, learned that he recorded Rachquel without her consent.

I have to admit that I learned something from all this. Last year, I would have done exactly what Ariana did: sent Rachquel the video. I was vaguely aware of some kind of revenge porn law, but I would not have known that I couldn’t send it to the individual whose intimate acts the video captured.

I read Kristen’s podcast recap. According to Zack (who became friends with everyone through Brittany Cartwright) and Kristen, it seems as if Jo began spending lots of time with Schwartz and then stopped talking to and blocked Kristen.

However, Jo then contacts Kristen’s brother, who she knows is visiting California. They chat, and he says that he didn’t know that Kristen and she weren’t friends anymore. Jo claims that she and Kristen are just taking a break, but will resume their friendship eventually.

After Show:

Scheana should be sitting to Kristen’s left. She faces away from Kristin the entire time so that we see her “good side,” and, thus, does not have the opportunity to organically bring Kristen into the discussion. Producers don’t try to rectify this. 
 

As a result, we see mute Kristen looking absolutely gorgeous throughout The After Shows. She’s honestly quite beautiful when she’s passive and not quirking and aggressively sharing her opinions.

I listened to her last podcast and she also mentions that Jo called Kristen’s brother after Kristen’s dog died, to send her condolences.  Jo said she heard the news by text from Brittany, not realizing that she was on speakerphone and Kristen AND Brittany were in the room and Brittany was like ‘wtf that isn’t true and I don’t even have her number’.  So yeah, Katie is right.  Jo is weird and spooky and an interloper.

Sandoval didn't distribute the video, but Ariana did, even if it was by sending it to Rachel only. Rachel's attorneys claim they have irrefutable proof Ariana distributed it.

I don't think anyone knows right now what this "irrefutable proof" is or what it proves, but Arianna clearly says she didn't send it to anyone.  She's going to be in even bigger trouble if that turns out to be a lie.  It doesn't benefit either woman to have that video floating out there, so hopefully Arianna is telling the truth for both of their sakes.

It is distribution. And it's a good idea for anybody not to film anything like this. Unfortunately, there is always a possibility that somebody can do it without the other person's knowledge, and permission.

HOWEVER, if they do (and again, I do actually doubt it), then Ariana is going to be in trouble.   

That she shared with others.  I actually think the "sharing with the person who made it" is a bit of a murky area.  But I wouldn't necessarily object with any particular consequences in that instance either way.

I thought that the finale was a series finale after I saw the retrospective at the end.

Sandoval might remove the Bravo/VPR from his IG, as well. He didn't post anything since April 22nd.
