Spoiler Discussion: The apple was poisoned?!

He's definitely got the hook in other shots, so either that was rehearsal, or it was a closeup shot and he didn't feel like wearing it if his hands were going to be off screen (it probably gets uncomfortable after hours of filming).

And lifting. If it's going to be a close shot, it's probably easier to pick up Emma without the hook. Not that I've thought this out to the extreme.

I feel like the CS Fandom goes through this every season. Even every half season. LOL I'm not going to get my hopes up too much for a proposal, I'm just happy they are happy, and together! Take that, haters!

I'm glad that this season appears to end on a happy note. Those two kids need a break! :)

Well lets not go crazy. I'm sure there is some secret scene that will air the last 2 seconds that will throw us all for a loop! Hahaha

I have a feeling the sh*t won't hit the fan until Season 6A. There might be a secret scene alerting the audience of imminent  danger, but the characters themselves might remain in blissful (except Regina if Robin died) ignorance.

Basically, it's like the S3 finale again...technically ends peacefully, but the final scene will be indicating trouble coming. Last time it was Elsa. Wonder what it'll be this time?

I'm holding onto hope for a S3-like wrapup for the season. I liked the place they were all in when the 2 hour finale ended. But, you're right! They're bound to tease the next big bad coming at the end!

Speculating on those wonderful BTS ...going by the comments of the person on site who said Emma said something that made Killian very very happy and the shot of her appearing to be holding something in her fist while they are kissing..it's either a ring or a key to their new home (just spec). If it is a proposal I would be 95% certain it was Emma asking.

The setting just screams 'not planned'...and we all know Killian is a planner while Emma is more your blurt it out without too much thinking kind of girl....plus she has lots of escapes routes if he said no....

I know the Captain Swan stuff has overtaken things, but does anyone know where the sideburns guy came from? They brought the other guy with them, but Sideburns is just there. Was he hanging out in Storybrooke all this time or what?

Wait, are sideburns and the guy they brought back different people? Too many conventially attractive white men to tell apart...

EDIT: LMAO, yes they are. They bring back Jekyll and then Hyde appears? Of course, in this show, Hyde is really the good/misunderstood one, and then he and Regina get it on!

Yep Hyde will be Sam Witwer's character whose probably the good one whose been tortured by the "good" son. They hire a good looking guy to play Hyde too. Of course this show would.

I can't wait for the meltdowns.

Maybe it has something to do with Hook's missing signet ring? He goes through the portal wearing it, come back through a portal and it's missing. The guy just popped out of nowhere, and he looks to be waiting for everyone to just arrive.

Other option is we really have just two people in one, and when everyone arrives, the guy they brought with them becomes the guy who was waiting for them?

The new guys are dressed old school......does this mean it isn't a modern asylum??

Can't stand Sam Witwer so I 'd be fine with him cast as the hideous Hyde....

Would be kind of cool if the new guys are the next villains and instead of having magic they use their brains to get the better of Storybrook

I see Blue is being her typical shady self in that script tease.

Yes, anyone who says "Nothing.  Everything is fine" like that is really screaming that all Hell (sorry, Hades) is about to break loose.

It's hard not to get excited about those CS pics. Jen and Colin sell the hell out of those scenes. Makes me all gooey inside and want to scribble hearts in my notebook. Not proud of that but it is what it is.

The problem with being excited about it is that we know it won't end there. Nope. Emma will probably fart out purple smoke that will turn into Barney. Who's going to ruin Regina's life all over again.

I'm a little confused by the lack of actual filming pics. It seems like all the photos of Emma and Hook are from rehearsal shots, so where are the photos of the actual live shoot? Also, I'm not convinced it's a proposal, but hooray for some happiness after this depressing season.

I agree YaddaYadda. Maybe Killian starts talking about potentially getting married in New York, but there are too many people around for privacy. Then, they get separated into two cars for the journey back to Storybrooke (where is Gold, btw??). So, as soon as they get back, Emma reminds him of their talk and says yes, they should get married.

Or maybe in the Underworld even since he got over the whole I'm not worthy hurdle. There's a bloody nursery in the middle of their living room. they have to talk about the future at some point.

A lot of things seem to be happening. They come back from the UW, it looks like Robin dies, so the discussion gets tabled out of respect for Regina and someone who went to the Underworld to help them.

But then the whole portal incident happens, and Killian gets sucked in there with Snowing and Zelena, and it becomes this thing where you know, embrace what you have because it can really be taken away. Not that this lesson hasn't been learned over and over this season with Killian's multiple deaths, and even Robin's death should drive the point home that there are only so many chances in life.

And that's if it's a proposal at all.

I'm not going to get all excited about a proposal. But the hand vs. hook thing looks like yet another example of the writers forgetting that Hook has one hand. If Colin can't pick up Jen that way while wearing the hook, so they have to cheat in a close shot, then Hook can't pick Emma up that way. And if that's just rehearsal, you'd think they'd need to rehearse him using the hook if the hook is on for the real deal. That's the kind of thing where they'd need to work out the logistics or bad things could happen.

Unless maybe the hug/kiss like that is because he got the hand back for good and he can now pick her up that way. :-)

Proposal or not (I agree with YaddaYadda that it looks more like Emma saying yes to a previous proposal than an actual proposal, if that's where they are going), the finale still looks incredibly lame, with the SwanMillsStiltskin family vacation, the teenage love affair, Rumple still alive and working with the heroes, and Hook and Snowing stuck with Zelena in the mental hospital. And no way Jekyll and Hyde can sustain a whole arc.

I think CS must have a conversation at the beginning of the finale about their future.  If Robin has died, I could see this just reinforcing (because going to the Underworld clearly isn't enough) that there's no time to waste.  I think the scene that was filmed yesterday is a happy conclusion to whatever conversation was interrupted (probably by Henry running away) at the beginning of the episode.

I think it will be nice to see Hook and Snowing bonding a  bit, but I'm not really expecting any kind of dialogue between them about Hook and Emma's future.

I wonder what sets Henry off for NYC.  Is it Violet's eminent departure? Does Rumple kidnap them because he can only leave Storybrooke if he goes with a blood relative?  Is it seeing what his moms have been through with their true loves and he wants away from magic?  Is it because he can't save Robin with the pen?  I have to say, I'm not interested at all in a Henry centric finale, especially when it looks like the focus of the season, Captain Swan, is separated yet again.

So, have they wrapped filming for this season, or is there more?

Adam said they were filming until April 2nd.  Bystanders yesterday said filming would be wrapped on Thursday.  I tend to believe Adam.

Rumple isn't even coming back with them from NYC. Maybe it's Belle related. Either Rumple is going to buy himself a brand new car, or he's going to start taking the subway. I wonder if he's not living out Neal's apartment since apparently the thing still exists even though Neal hasn't been around in well over a year.

Rumsy, I think they're done on Friday. I'm already counting down to July when we start getting filming spoilers, because I'm sad that way.

It does seem like there will be no realm jumping in 6A which for me personally is good, because two arcs in a row is a bit much.

Maybe Emma proposes to him or hints at it. Before Hook can answer Chaos ensues, then he gets sucked into the portal with Snowing so i'm sure at some point Snowing/Hook have a conversation about Emma & Hooks future. And then when they are finally reunited that is the scene where it is finalized?

I just have this feeling they are going to reference Hook & Charming's conversation from the end of Season 3 when they are in Past Storybrooke and he says that he would go to the end of the world for Emma but he doesn't know if she would do the same for him.

If Henry and Violet are in New York because they ran away so she wouldn't have to go back to Camelot with her family, it will be proof of Nurture over Nature, as it would be remarkably like Regina for him to go to such extremes over a girl he spent maybe half an hour with and who he seems to have completely forgotten and left without a word while he ran off to the Underworld.

"We went on one half a date six weeks ago and then talked at a fair a few weeks ago, and then I forgot her for a while, but I can't live without her! My life will be ruined! Let's run away!" But I guess if she goes along with it and chooses the boy she barely knows over her family, she deserves him.

I still can't believe we're actually devoting a good portion of the finale to a Henry and Violet plot. Just...why??

how can you be surprised when Violet has been an integral and vital part this season....(where's that sarcasm font when i need it!)

I wonder what the original plan had been, before the Camelot scenes were cut from the 5A finale. They must have had something else in mind. Ugh... does Henry really need a girlfriend at 13? Personally, I think it's way too young to start dating. As for Henry, he needs to get a few friends his own age before he looks for a girlfriend.

And you know what is even worse? That Violet was supposed to be going home in Swan Song, the scene was filmed. So all this teenage love affair drama is a last minute addition, one of those brillant ideas A&E have that is bound for disaster.

The retcon in the new sneak peek is glorious and it makes Rumple look even more stupid than before. If he can create a portal himself, why did he needed the curse?

If they're doing Jekyll/Hyde, they're the same person/body, but just morph into the other. Or they do something wacky and the one "detaches" from the other for a time.

The new guys are dressed old school......does this mean it isn't a modern asylum??

I've begun to suspect that there IS no asylum at all, and that was simply casting call BS, much like Merida was hid as Rumple's mom.

Supposedly, people aren't allowed to take photos when actual filming is going on. Judging by the massive sounds of dozens of cameras clicking in the videos from yesterday, I can understand that -- the sounds could get picked up on audio. I'm sure some break the rules, but the bulk of BTS pics we see are rehearsals.

So, have they wrapped filming for this season, or is there more?

A couple more days in studio.

OK

New Sneak Peek

I don't give a miniscule hoot about what is going on with the spastic plot or...any character dilemma actually, least of all the vapidly defined Hades and his dour. doomsday. delivery. of. every. single. line...but..

Having an old fashioned dentist seat as his lounging chair IS quite witty.

HAAA!

I think there is an asylum because it wasn't a casting call, it was an announcement of known actors in roles.

I do think that whoever suggested that it was an asylum in the Land Without Color is right on because there is no way that sadistic warden or whatever can be at all intimidating in those colors with that hair unless the intro is in black and white.

I do think they could make Snowing, Hook, and Zelena trapped in an asylum very entertaining if done right.  They won't do it right but it has potential for some fairy tale character meets people who don't believe in fairy tale characters and give you electroshock for it moments.  The just have to contrive for a reason for them not to play it straight.  Like the way home is in the asylum and to avoid getting kicked out is admit who they really are and then group therapy.

The retcon in the new sneak peek is glorious and it makes Rumple look even more stupid than before. If he can create a portal himself, why did he needed the curse?

Because this time, this is a portal to and from the Underworld, and only Rumple can open it with his "dark-one tainted blood."  Except that's not the reason they gave us before. Rumple was the only person to come back from death (Blue who?), and that's why his blood could summon the Underworld ferry. Whatever...

Hades is taking a lot of risk threatening Rumple. Even if he is a god, I'm not sure Rumple won't get the better of him in the end.

ETA:

Poor Snowing can never catch a break. Damned if they do. Damned if they don't.

Dallas says that abandoning the tyke for an indeterminate amount of time understandably “drudges up” the Charmings’ experience with their firstborn, whom they transported to safety via an enchanted wardrobe, before the Evil Queen’s Dark Curse consumed the Enchanted Forest. “They don’t want to make a mistake like they did the first time with Emma,” says the actor. “So now that they’ve left Neal, they’ve got to try to get back to him” — or at least get a heartfelt message to their son, with the help of the Blind Witch (guest star Emma Caulfield) and an ersatz “phone booth.”

Does this mean, the baby stuff in Emma's house will be addressed?

How is the baby going to understand any message, even if it is heart-felt??

"Make a mistake"....I'm sorry, HOW was doing the only thing to save baby Emma from being KILLED a "mistake"?

I am so sick of the show constantly pushing the "Snow and Charming abandoned Emma" narrative, just to avoid dealing with Regina's crimes. This has been going on since S2 ever since the premiere, with this asinine exchange.

Snow: "But if we hadn't, you would have been cursed."

Emma: "But we would have been together. Which curse is worse?"

And nobody calls Emma out on this; that no, you would NOT have been together. Even if Regina didn't kill baby Emma and she survived as part of the Storybrooke curse, she'd make sure she didn't grow up together with Mary Margaret (and David Nolan was in a coma, so there was no way Emma could have been together with him anyway) and been miserable all the same.

And then it got worse, with other characters calling the Charmings out on their supposed crime, including several VILLAINS (Pan: "Look at the example you set - abandoning her!"; Ingrid: "They could have kept you, Emma! They could have TRIED!", Lily: "Your parents are monsters, Emma! They seperated me from my mother and threw you into a wardrobe!")

At this point, it has gotten ridiculous, and is just A&E shaming the Charmings for the sake of trying to promote their "heroes are just as flawed as villains" morality.

Only Rumple can open it with his "dark-one tainted blood." Except that's not the reason they gave us before. Rumple was the only person to come back from death (Blue who?), and that's why his blood could summon the Underworld ferry. Whatever...

Yes, this is yet another continuity error and plothole from these so-called professional writers.

However, it makes sense that Blue wouldn't work...she died, but the blood required was someone who had specifically been to HELL and back. Shady as she may be, Blue probably wasn't evil enough for Hell. Given how she died, she may have just gone to Dark Hollow.
