Spoiler Discussion: The apple was poisoned?!

I'm pretty sure they are just rehearsing, but that means Hook will probably touch her hair again, which will make it even more of a thing then it is now. I was looking at that photo stream by Nigel, and started seeing pics of drag queens, and had a little wtf moment, thinking that were from the OUAT set. LOL

I hope it's a scene! That would mean Hook is filming without his coat...

Alas, but I think it's just a run through... he'll probably put the coat on again for actual filming.

Edit: Or what, like, three people said before me!

Ahah, thanks, guys! I don't care if it's a run through, as long as the actual scene is just as cute. I just wanted people to assure me those were CS in character and that I'm gonna get to see the scene on my tv. In like 6 months, when this airs (or so it seems right now).

My first thought was that this was the "We have to cool it because of Regina's delicate toddler-worthy feelings" talk.

I don't imagine Hook initiating that talk. He might pull her aside for flirting and then she worries about cooling it. I'd hope Hook's reaction would be like, "Hey, how come no one was worried about me backsliding into evil if anyone offended my delicate toddler-worthy feelings? She can dish it out, she'd better be able to take it, too." Or something like that. If Hook starts drinking the Regina Kool Aid, we're all doomed.

I also had the thought of Elsa making a grand entrance!

Here's a really nice pic Colin:

Sweet sassy molassy!

I think after Grumpy's "We're being attacked!" would be a fine place for Emma's "It's only been 10 hours since the last crisis!"

After all these photos, I've decided I want some poor schlub to have to walk beside me wherever I go outdoors to hold an umbrella and shade me from the sun.

I know we already saw the dress in the finale, but I still want to see the full version.  We never saw the front, changes may have been made, plus hair and makeup will be new...I'm a costume nerd, OK?

Another Jen/Colin pic.  At least Jen gets to be sleeveless under her jacket.

I am going CRAZY waiting for this.  Especially after the tease about how white her makeup was.   Does anyone know if they make substantial changes to the makeup for the green/purple screen to deal with the reflection?

It is days like this when I am glad I am not an actor.   I think I would just be dripping sweat if I was wearing winter layers in the middle of summer.

Bunch o' nice photos.

I am amused by Josh play-punching the guy making off with the stunt baby.

You know, I could make a lot out of these photos. Just a nice happy family outing then man steals Baby Snowflake as a distraction while drag queens invade Storybrooke looking to plunder Regina's wardrobe.

I would get heat boils if I had to wear that leather outfit under the sweltering heat. Poot Colin! Actors do have to put up with a lot!!

KAOS: It totally could happen that way!!!

Hey, everybody - it's obvious this topic is exploding with excitement, and I get it. Really, I do. But you've pushing 150 new posts in a little over 24 hours.

If you like something someone posts, PLEASE USE THE LIKE BUTTON. Please don't quote it and say you like it, or THIS, or how hot Hook is (which, I concur, Colin/Hook is looking very fine these days, and I am of the 'not minding his shirt unbuttoned' camp...). Or maybe save all your enthusiasm for one big end of the day post?

Please, I beseech you! I'm the only mod who regularly checks in here, and you make the kittens cry when I come in after work and find dozens of new posts to read in just one topic...

My thanks!

So some changes from the finale.  Looks like they've toned down the band at the shoulder, bumped up the corseting, and made the braid look a little less like a wig.  In short, the finale version took a few liberties with the movie costume, this one takes exactly none.  Although it is at least a step up from the Disney Parks version.

I am sure someone more talented than me will put out a side by side comparison soon, but it's essential a direct lift now.  Movie Elsa = three small bands of diamond things at the shoulder, OUAT Elsa = three small bands of diamond things at the shoulder, etc.

I think if we can actually call anything we saw today a spoiler (as of the lunch break), it's this.  This is final confirmation that they are being kept to a VERY tight leash on this.  I'm still on the fence as to whether this is a good thing, or a bad thing.

Whoa! So Hook won't be the only one I fairy tale costume anymore in Storybrooke. That could be quite interesting. Not really sure about the rest of the dress -- it doesn't look as lush and the color as deep as the finale. I hope things look different on screen.

So, if Hook and Emma are in a scene with Elsa, could that be because she knows who's responsible for bringing her there, because they realize they must have brought her, or could it actually be that Hook knew Elsa from some time in the past? I've got multiple mental fanfic speculations running now, including one in which a young midshipman/ensign/lieutenant Jones was part of the military escort for one of the dignitaries at the coronation ball where everything went icy crazy in the movie, so he knows who she is and she recognizes him (maybe he's from Hans's kingdom and she asked him about Hans when she noticed Hans dancing with her sister). If he was there, then he'd also know that she did eventually get things under control and isn't evil. I suppose that could also explain the pulling Emma aside scene, if he's run into Elsa and wants to bring Emma into the loop before the whole town gets into it.

This is dangerous. I could have several entirely different mental books written before the premiere -- and then I'll inevitably be disappointed when their story is nothing like any of mine.

From oncepromised:

I really don’t want to give away too much but basically Elsa is running into a building and Emma and Killian chase after her. Then they film inside and we can’t see anything.

They also mention:

A #CaptainSwan action scene. Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) run into the parking lot behind for an action sequence, involving stunt doubles for both.

Sorry, I didn't think it would be an issue since I was posting new content. I don't go back and reread past posts to see if they've been edited, I just click on the topic, and it takes me to the newest unread post. Figured others do too, so things could get missed that way.

With the level of new posting, I suggest everyone go back and scan above the gold bar for a few days. Picking out edited posts is easy to do. Either that, or wait and post all your information in batches throughout the day. Thank you.

I doubt this level of posting is just going to last for a few days, though.  It's going to happen any time there are outside filming pics/reports getting posted.  And I don't think long term having to go back and edit our posts instead of making new ones is a great idea.  It's one thing to edit a post if no one else has posted anything new, but I guess I just don't really see the value in asking us to go back and edit posts of ours that may be way up on the page or even on a previous page, if discussion is moving fast.  The same amount of information is being posted either way, it's just going to get way more confusing to try to read coherently.  I know you're the only mod who's willing to go into the spoiler thread, and I imagine that's a huge task, but I'm not sure asking us to not talk so much is really a good long term solution.

Good points, @CatMack . You are correct, this will hopefully only last a few days. My frustration was in having so many posts happen so quickly after my earlier post today about how high traffic has been in here the last day or so.

So please, folks, don't STOP posting. But if you do find an interesting tidbit, maybe hold off a little bit (30 minutes? an hour?), to see if you see another piece of info come across the wire, especially in these early days of filming. I appreciate your cooperation, and you really are all a great bunch to work with! Thanks!

I think by sticking soooo strictly to the original design of the dress was a mistake. Seeing the full version I think it looks kind of cheap.

So, timeline wise it goes, Charming family walk, Hook pulls Emma aside, flirty times (or is this a different scene?), then Grumpy interrupts, then they chase after Elsa into a building, yes?

So, is Elsa just going around freezing everything and hiding out? Or is she attacking someone inside? Because, let's face it, who would feel the need to get away from the scary team of Hook and Emma.

It fits with the chase reports, and with there having been stunt doubles on hand.  I wonder why the stunt guys though.  I think Jen and Colin can both run fairly well, so I'm assuming something must happen to them after they chase Elsa indoors/around a corner (I feel like we got conflicting reports on what exactly happened there).  Maybe they round a corner and get tossed against a wall or something?

Oh, yeah, forgot that there is an actual confrontation outside first. Thanks.

Snarktastic, I think that's the way things go down as well. I'm guessing Grumpy just means Elsa is freezing things when he says they're under attack. Although why would she do that? Maybe she's just angry from being urned up. Here's a photo of Emma with a gun, so perhaps Elsa just ran inside to protect herself.

I think they are still filming inside, so we probably won't get anymore spoilers until tomorrow.

ETA: Ahh, it takes me so long to type on my tablet, people post the same things I'm in the process of posting. Sorry. :(

From what I've read, when Hook pulls Emma aside, they go into an alley, but that scene was blocked, so it's unclear what happened. But when Grumpy interrupts, they are outside the Rabbit Hole, and it is unclear where that fits in -- I mean, presumably after, but whether this is all one continuous sequence or not. They may go do other things indoors, then be back outside again later. It is at least all the same day, one presumes, as they're wearing the same clothes.

Short clip of Emma and Hook running.

The filming notice says they're shooting outside Granny's tonight, though I assume it will be harder for fans to see.

Gotta say, I'm intrigued that Eion Bailey is hanging around and there is a motorcycle scene. But I can't for the life of me imagine how he fits in.

I hope it's been long enough I can safely post a new post.

According to oncepromised, they're filming tonight at Granny's with Jen, Colin, Josh, Ginny, Lana, Sean, Raphael, Maid Marian and Jared. She can't see what's happening. She thinks that in the earlier scene Elsa ran into the shipyard, but she isn't sure.

I wonder if that diner scene could be an immediate continuation of the scene at the end of the finale? Then the daytime shoots are the next morning?

I cannot see how adult August fits in, either. That's a totally unexpected spoiler. Either it's an odd flashback or he got de-childed from the second curse. Which begs the question, why? (Not from a magical standpoint, but from a "what do the writers need adult him to accomplish that some other character couldn't accomplish?" standpoint. Or maybe they just wanted him back, since they're going for the whole Cast of Millions thing in 4A.)

Maybe August found out from Anna or Kristoff about Rumple's dagger?

What would Anna or Kristoff know about Rumple's dagger? ::confused::

Maybe Emma and Hook changed something in the past so August didn't get tasered in this timeline.

I don't think Anna and Kristoff could have told August about the dagger unless they were outside of the curse and traveled to our world and ran into August. They wouldn't know about it if they were cursed and I highly doubt they told him when he was a little boy in the EF.

Geppetto was at the coronation thing, so if his son was suddenly a grown-ass man again after the second curse, he was certainly being pretty chill about it all. (Which doesn't mean the writers didn't come up with something during the break, but still; it would be odd if adult!August was just laying low while a whole bunch of crazy crap was happening in the town.) I thought he was an interesting character and that there was more they could have done with him instead of making him wooden when they did, but I don't really know where he would fit into the show now. Especially between the Frozen stuff and the Marian stuff.

I will laugh so hard if this is a continuation of the finale. Henry will age in mere minutes - like it should have happened right in front of his family's eyes. I know Adam & Eddy are in denial about Jared's aging but hee! And yes, I am aware even a ten hour time jump isn't much, but this would be literally instantaneous.

I do think it's important to remember that they film out of order, so Emma & Hook's chase of Elsa is most likely not directly following the family walk - and really, I hope Emma doesn't feel the need to be armed when out for a walk with Baby Snowflake. I also wonder if the loft has an elevator because hauling that stroller up and down three flights of stairs would seriously suck.

Also, just say no to Adult!Pinocchio. Unless Emma gets to repeatedly kick him in the balls. Has the Eion Bailey sighting been confirmed as fact? Maybe he was just visiting the set like when Christopher Gorham was seen while they were filming the big showdown in It's Not Easy Being Green?

I'm usually spoiler free but first day filming shots I had to see, plus with following some of the Frozen fandom on tumblr I had to see how they were dealing with Elsa on set. Georgina looks so gorgeous! She'll always be Etta Bishop to me too. I'm almost more excited about her than any of the rest of the cast at the moment though I'm happy they all look so happy to be back together and filming. Though I also have to celebrate that Ginny still has a decent amount of HAIR and bangs, instead of her tragic Neverland cut from early season 3.

I guess Anna and Kristoff could have met Rumple when he put Elsa into an urn, and then they somehow end up in our world, and meet August. Highly unlikely but you know how convoluted and nonsensical the story can get.

Person who was there says "they appear to be in 3.22 costumes" so... This does happen on TV shows a fair bit (plus hair changes, weight loss/gain, etc) and I think it's only glaringly obvious when you watch them back to back.

Not confirmed, but a few people seem to have reported it, and one saw him multiple times and seemed pretty certain. But yeah, who knows.

Bunch more photos of Georgina Haig here. I agree the dress is a bit meh at first blush, but I'll reserve judgement until we see it under lights and with post production. Might look different on screen.

Yes, I think we need to do some suspension of belief. If you watch seasons of Friends back-to-back, some of the physical changes to Chandler are amazing (he somehow loses 50 pounds on the night he proposes to Monica between Seasons 6 and 7). Real life actors have some real life changes (in the finale, Snow's face has some dramatic changes between the re-used shots and the new ones due to her pregnancy) and I'd rather the producers ignore Henry's age than twist plots into pretzels trying to justify it (how many time jumps can we have?). My son's 10/11 year old baseball team played some teams that had a few players that looked like they were old enough to shave, so I'll play along that Jared is just an older looking 12 year old.

Also, just say no to Adult!Pinocchio. Unless Emma gets to repeatedly kick him in the balls.

Seconded.

I hope they aren't twisting plots into pretzels to feature Adult!Pinocchio just because the actor is available (or to try to convince us that Kristoff has been in Storybrooke all along).

Eion could also be doing a flashback scene. It depends how they're introducing new characters. .. could it have something to do with how they're bringing the Knave into the story? I didn't watch OUATIW, but was the Knave supposedly in SB during the Curse?
