The title is a little misleading because Mauricio has partners, and this is the amount of what The Agency sold in real estate since 2011 (from what I read previously). But, the business was created during their marriage, it is considered community property in California, and the couple doesn't have a prenuptial agreement. Their personal net worth is about $100 million, but this could go up because of other assets, and real estate (the couple owns several expensive properties).

She heard from two medical experts, and two defense witnesses during a hearing which lasted almost three hours. She will sentence him to serve time in prison- he won't be allowed to enter a treatment center for his age related dementia.

I've given her the side eye for relentlessly promoting herself on social media since her diagnosis. Always perfectly made up and styled, camera-perfect, which takes time to produce. She initially seemed to indicate her prognosis was dire, and then it was a much more positive prognosis. She's using the diagnosis to draw a lot of attention to herself. It's distasteful to me - no, I don't think she's doing it to promote awareness of brain cancer. She should be focused on her children's needs.

I assume she's still married if she needs her husband's health insurance for treatment.

Oh yes, Erika will continue to play the victim despite her receipt of so much of the ill gotten gains.   

I do find it very interesting that she still hasn't filed for divorce.  What's that about?  Anyone else would have filed the first day or publicly stood by their spouse.  Is there some sort of legal jeopardy she's avoiding by staying married?

Many theorize that she wants to claw back any money Tom has hidden or has in a life insurance policy. Yet, she doesn’t plan to make any effort with Tom until he drops dead.

I agree that it isn't enough time for what he did, but this is still not what anyone wants even for their last years. If Tom hadn't been so greedy and evil, he could have been enjoying retirement, living a nice lifestyle, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

I agree. And going back further it was probably so she wouldn't have to testify against him. She's going to hang on until the very end hoping for some sort of hidden stash.

Agreed on all counts. He's got to have some money stashed in the Caymans or Switzerland. She knows where the bodies are buried, despite her claims to the contrary.

Since the judge found him lucid, I really hope he is lucid enough to realize Erika completely abandoned him. And ridiculed him on air. And that he moves his money again and changes the beneficiary on his life insurance.

I don’t think Tom’s  sentence should result in Erika getting another season.  She’s not going to say anything worthwhile and we know she’s not going to visit him.

I used to work for a federal law enforcement agency, and Tom's sentence reminds me of a story an agent told me. He arrested a guy in his 60s. He was convicted and got a 70-year sentence. He told the judge he wouldn't live long enough to serve out the sentence. The judge looked at him and said, "Do the best you can, son." 🤣

I honestly don't think there's any money left. I mean, the planes alone (big and little) can eat through the best of fortunes. (Ask Justin Bieber!) There probably is life insurance but  I wonder if his brother would have been able to change the beneficiary status? Also who would be paying those premiums?

Good points.  Plus Erika's fake "career" spent 30K a month on glam etc.   Still, I'd believe there was a hidden foreign bank account.  Otherwise, I just can't imagine why Erika would not file for divorce, especially now that Tom has been convicted.  That sure doesn't help her "victim" image she's created.

Oh I think Erika might think there's some money stashed somewhere. But I think she'd be wrong. In these cases, there's almost never any money left over because the stolen money is used to pay for their lifestyles.

Except for that one lady who used the money to buy horses instead of trips on the pj. In that case, they were actually to recoup quite a bit of the stolen funds.

Teddi Mellencamp's husband refiled for divorce, so I'm not sure for how long she will have health insurance, or if she is covered under him.

I like Rachel Zoe (enough). She filed for divorce recently. She and Rodger appeared to be a loving couple, but I guess not anymore. They met in college.
