That's how you can tell Sutton and Dorit aren't friends at all.  Because if I go to a party at a friends house,ill go back where I hear the kids and say Hi. Talk to whomever is in the yard. I wouldn't sit on a chair inside, hearing the party, but waiting to be properly welcomed. That was strange to me.  

And I agree about the Garcelle scene asking about alcohol, her tone was a bit 'uh oh are you drinking?' She might have meant it that way, but it didn't sound like a simple inquiry if there Was alcohol being served, but that Sutton, in particular, had alcohol in her drink. So, yea I think we're missing a scene there. 

At any rate, I'm over Angry Dorito. She's making me feel bad for Kyle.  And I still think she doesn't deserve to be on this show, Miss I Only Care About Me! but Erika eating her hotdog and slamming her drink with eyes back and forth watching the drama was pretty funny.

Ugh Dorit has made Bizarro World happen for me, too lol

I honestly would have done the same thing wait for someone I know to show up or the host to actually greet me ..I’m not gonna let myself into your house and walk through when you and I arnt really friends and you invited me as a group 

 

 

Then get the passive aggressive oh I didn’t want them to be the first 2 I see coming downstairs.. which means she wasn’t even there to greet those other people there .. let’s be real about just how rude Dorit was with this party

I understand your side and 100% had they been friends I would agree.. that’s a normal friend reaction

but I think this was a work thing and they arnt cool like that so it would make sense for her to wait for someone she knew or for Dorit to pop up ..

True, but the party was never going to be inside.  Sutton could have (and I would have) continued out to the backyard and got a drink (all the service people were there, plus the kids, plus presumably someone watching the kids) and hung out there.  While Sutton seems to have a penchant for digs at Dorito, maybe she just wanted to stay in the air conditioning rather than the 94 degree heat?  

As rude as Sutton can be, Dorit, the SOLE hostess, being upstairs for 30+ minutes after your guests start arriving is probably the worst. 

Either way, Dorit and Sutton have been rude to each other for years; the sisterhood of low blows and antagonizing each other.  I'm over all of it.

It seems like when a housewife finds herself in this position the last thing they want to do is work like a normal person, a 9 to 5 job, retail, something that gives them benefits, the first thing they do is find something stupid to dump what little money they have in to some vanity project with little to no pay off.

Didn't Dorit already try and fail at fashion?  Beverly Beach swimwear and her bridal gown collaboration really didn't go anywhere except for a few lawsuits for Beverly Beach that were either dismissed or settled somehow out of court.  I think the bridal gown collaboration was a one shot deal, more for the free advertising the parent company received on the show, than for them wanting Dorit's actual ideas for designs.

I know Dorit was involved somehow in the fashion industry before marrying PK, so maybe she could go back to it, but I think she has a much higher opinion of herself now than she may have had then, so working for someone else, or starting over may be beneath her, in her mind.

Plus, Dorit's quite a bit older than she was 10-15 years ago.  I think, unfortunately, that could work against her.  It's sad that ageism still exists, but it's a fact - especially since she's technically been out of the business for that time and would be going up against younger, more career focused, more driven candidates with a fresher view and outlook on fashion than just showing up everywhere dressed in head-to-toe logo'd apparel and thinking that's fashion.

Hey - maybe she could become a walking billboard?  She doesn't mind having business logos being plastered all over her body!

So true, it's that entitled attitude again-they see themselves as above normal jobs. 

I know fashion is Dorit's passion, and ideally, that would be how she'd make a living. I wish we could all do what we love every day. But it's a very, very difficult industry to succeed in. Dorit is a beautiful woman, looks incredible for any age but especially nearly 50, and she can dress really cute when she chills on the designer logos. There are other things she could do with al that other than Housewives or snagging a rich guy. 

I think if Dorit doesn't want to work in an office or retail or something like that, she could probably expand her influencing career. I could see her doing well on YouTube. She could share her skin care secrets. What does she do to stay looking so fabulous? She could do makeup tutorials. She could do fashion videos-hauls, makeovers, etc. She could do cute videos with her kids. She's apparently a wonderful cook, she could show her favorite recipes. She could dish Housewives tea. I could go on and on.

Yes, she looks emaciated. Could be part of the “poor me” schtick she’s doing, but she looks awful. Surprising how she has pivoted from her “perfect me” image to this “poor me” image - I’m thinking the most real thing we’ve seen about Dorit is the nasty part that curses and gaslights.

Brandi said on twitter that it looked like Dorit was doing strange things with her jaw.  Like one does when having had a bump or 2. Made me think of Rinna asking if that was done in Dorit's bathroom.  Rinna said in an interview that someone, wouldn't name who, had white stuff around their nostril which is why she said it.

‘How do you think it feels when someone calls you a bitch’? How did you think Sutton felt when you tried to steal her purse. I have never, ever warmed up to Dorito since day one on this show. Glad Sutton left. 
I hope Boz is one and done, I really tried to like her but she’s bringing nothing to the show except being Doritos paid friend. It certainly isn’t for her sense of fashion. And the baby storyline is boring. 
The final scene with Kyle and Dorito talking about the state of the marriages was what I wanted all along, they are going through the same situation. Quit fighting and be friends.

I figure something will happen at some point that will change Boz's mind about Dorit.  That's usually the way things play out on the HWs shows.  It's junior high-level drama, especially the storming out and crying tantrums!

I agree. The whole sequencing seemed weird. Are we really to believe that Sutton, who can't stand Dorit, would arrive so much earlier than the other housewives? And did no other guest show up in that 35 minute window? And if other guests did show up they didn't wait in the foyer ... so what did they do? And isn't it weird that the housewives who always coordinate everything and usually travel in packs didn't do so this time?

All the above could hypothetically happen, but it seems production driven. I'm guessing they told Sutton to come early.

I think it's because while Garcelle can be shady, she isn't cruel or a mean girl. The same can't be said for some of the others.

Yeah, I think Dorit is a beautiful woman who can be charming, but she has the worst sense of humor of all of them. I obviously enjoy Garcelle and Sutton, and they both regularly make me laugh. Kyle does the funniest impressions. Even Erika can give a funny talking head. Dorit's idea of joking is that weirdness with the purse and calling Camille the c word. Heck, even taking it back several seasons, Dorit also claimed to be joking when she gifted Erika underwear as a a joke and said "we've all seen your pretty little puss now." Why are her "jokes" always mean?

I'm binging Potomac right now, and I think one reason I enjoy it so much is because the women on it can be so funny.

Absolutely. Boz has been a top executive at major companies. I don't think Kyle understands what that means. She's a stay-at-home mom, and most of her friends are as well. That's just what she knows. She dogged Camille from the jump because she had surrogates, and, from what is seems, is friends with people that have money that they access given marriage. Boz fits none of those categories. She is the real deal. Kyle just can't compute or get it. She also isn't very open minded or interested in learning, so I can see her writing Boz off and using her reactions/emotions to Boz's comments as believable. Boz is really the only self-made person that has ever been on RHBH. She has the confidence and can say what she wants because she's not worried or insecure about people liking her. Kyle is fixated on friendships and being supported. Boz doesn't need that.

I'd be ok giving Boz one more season.  she'll have given up on the baby thing by then. And I can't imagine Dorit wouldn't have overstayed her welcome up her booty by then, as well.  

Love how my autocorrect constantly struggles with Dorit's name. It usually changes it to 'Dorito' or 'Don't.'

Are we going to see the remodel of Ericka's pool house before the season ends? Its the only thing about her I'm interested in. 

Don't think this cast is gelling this year. Something seems off.
