Christine doesn't bother me lately - yes she is over the top and yes her taste in clothes is questionable but I wish her the best and truly hope she is happy.  

Meri has the most personality of all the wives these days - more Meri!  And how did she make all these great friends?  (Speaking of which Janelle was almost non-existent these days except for her use of the stain pen.  I did like seeing her children and Christine's children together and how well that relate among themselves and their mothers.)

If Robyn wasn't such a manipulative person I could almost feel sorry for her.  I agree - eggshells - no wonder the daughters always look stressed.  If Robyn left Kody I think he would be dangerous.

I don't have the patience to try to pin down the timeline, but I wondered:

Was it possible that 'RoraandBreanana were already attending their new church (which is neither UAB nor LDS) and everyone was so tentative because they knew Koe-Dee might flip out?  My ears perked up when Koe-Dee when right to "cult."  What made him go there? Is he saying their OLD church was a cult? Or that he suspected the girls were interested in a specific church that HE has deemed a cult? 

Its super interesting to me that he is now having some sort of church-based phobia.  IMO, he needs to lay blame for his failures first on the women, but now on the church that somehow traumatized him. He is pro-level blame-shifting.

But also - is he mad because he sees that his dad and the AUB sold him a bill of goods when they said he could be the priesthood holder and have his own planet and that the women would silently, gratefully take whatever crumbs he threw them?  Cuz the thing is - they might have, if he had never pushed them all into the spotlight. It was the show, and the money it brought, that showed the women what life without the AUB and Koe-Dee could be.  He was definitely the instrument of his own destruction.  And that's why their church leaders didn't approve of the show. They knew it already - how you gonna keep them down on the farm (or compound) after they've seen Paree?

I think Kody is such a megalomaniac that he decided that he WAS the church and that the only person whom all of his wives and children needed to learn theology from was him.  That way he could twist it to meet his own requirements and for some reason he forgot that his children were becoming adults and had minds of their own (and then ultimately so did their mothers).  The only cult I see in Flagstaff has flowing blonde ringlets hiding his quickly receding hairline.

He's already unhinged.  He talks about Robyn like she's his sun, moon and stars.  I have to wonder if the intensity of his ceaseless, crazy-eyed adoration makes her uncomfortable.  He's so paranoid that he's been left by three other women, it must make him crazy to think that she would leave him too so he treats her as one of his precious, priceless art pieces (lolz).  That kind of worship - even though it's what she wanted initially - might be too much for her to handle, now that she can no longer "dilute" Kody by telling him to go visit someone else for a few hours.   

However - this was the Dark Queen's plan.  Now she's won and must live forevermore with the Court Jester in her face 24/7.  I do not feel bad for her.

He told Robyn on their attic date that he would have a hard time listening to a sermon if he couldn't stand up and contradict the pastor.  Can you imagine Kody in a pew, scribbling notes on his church bulletin like a maniac, red-faced, sweaty ringlets stuck to his head, spontaneously jumping up to give his interpretation of the sermon to a stunned congregation while Robyn slinks down in her seat and Aurora and Brianna sneak out the back door?

Actually, if we have to be subjected to Kody and Robyn for another season, this is exactly what I want to see.

I think Robyn would be fine with that, as long as he allows her to re-run her "cookie" sermon when he was done speaking.

Flagstaff has lots of tourists year-round.  I doubt there are many restaurants  there that need/want the disruption that filming causes.

Christine didn't have this or that with Kody;  Christine couldn't do that or this with Kody.  Kody, Kody, Kody!  How long before David realizes she's still OBSESSED with Kody?  It feels like that's all this relationship is about: Kody.  How long before we hear that David ***** better than Kody, too?  I would be insulted and alarmed if my fiance couldn't shut up about the ex for two minutes.

Yes, but again, this could be production telling her to make all these comments just to stir the pot and try to get some flare ups from Kody.

When I was a kid, I used to watch professional wrestling.  Every once in a while, they had a match where the loser would get his long locks shorn.  When I read your comment, a scene passed through my head of Kody in a cage match against his ex-wives, his hair being cut if (when) he loses!  Now, THAT might draw some life back into this series. 🤣

EXCEPT that she does it on her SM, too, with all her stupid nacho and sports car "Take that, Kody!" pictures.  So EVERYTHING Kody or Robyn says in THs is them speaking, but Christine is being forced to say certain things?  Got it!

In part this could be because the show is about her marriage to Kody.

Hi - I was coming here to comment because QUITE a while ago ( years? who knows) comments were made about Robyn's  uber cluttered abode and I didn't know what you all were talking about.

Well, until this episode when she and Kody are leaving the house to go on their date. It showed the kitchen in the background and it was a visual assault in my opinion. How cluttered and just stuff all over the place was it? It was so so so so cluttered and messy looking that I immediately remembered all the discussion about the housekeeping in that house.

 I figure her social media (really all of theirs) are all part of the marketing for the show. She knows that most of her followers are following as watchers of the show, so that's what she posts about (mostly). The social media and the show feed each other.

It wouldn't surprise me if Christine (and the others) had private social media that they use the way the rest of us use our social media - to share kid updates, cute pet photos and recipes.
