As of April 10, the S&P is up 2.3% over the previous year, NASDAQ is up 1.6%, and Dow Jones is up 3.1%. 

But more importantly, if you look at the last five years, S&P is up 89.2%, NASDAQ is up 101.5%, and Dow Jones is up 67.1%.

I was at a folk festival the very day that it was announced that President Biden was stepping out of the race. I bought a cute red hat supporting the folk festival. I wore it back to my seat and realized that it looked too much like a MAGA hat. I shoved it in my bag and have never worn it again.

I saw on CNN last night that Trump's White House staff accidentally called fired & retired Lt. Gen H. R. McMaster instead of South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster.  This happened a few days before the Signal Chat debacle.  You literally cannot even make this shit up at this point. I told my husband that the White House basically butt-dialed the guy. The Oval Office is basically a circus ring. 🤦‍♀️

Red is my second favorite color.  I have a few red jackets.  I’ve pretty much stopped wearing red.  Not sure when or if I’ll be comfortable wearing it.

It's either a gross exaggeration, the poster is a complete idiot and confused 410(k) with a general brokerage account, or satire. Because a properly managed 401(k) would be diversified enough so that no single account lost more than 90% of its value based on market fluctuation. One could lose that much if they just had a general brokerage account where they bought and sold stocks based on their personal whims. Which would also make them a complete idiot if that was to happen.

Senators Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham have also chimed in on this.

Republicans claim to want women to be married (not that it's any of their business), and then turn around and penalize women for getting married. Of course it's just the beginning when trying to take away a woman's right to vote, period.
