Right? SAME. The bus I used to take to work goes right past my house, and whenever I see it go by I say "So long, suckers!" I cannot fathom that I hauled my raggedy ass out of bed every day at five AM and dragged myself into Cambridge and WORKED all day. Then hauled my aforementioned raggedy ass onto another set of mobile torture chambers that are called public transportation around here, to come home again, when I jammed some food down my gullet and collapsed into bed, exhausted. AND had to do all my housework, shopping, laundry, cooking, self care, social activity, EVERYTHING, all in two short days! Crazy.

Ha-that's my routine RN!

Mine is similar, except I don't have a dog, and I sometimes head out to the porch to smoke and watch the world go by. Maybe chat with my mail carrier.

I have 'informed delivery' from the post office. I can check online to see if I have mail or a package. Don't even have to get dressed, much less talk to anyone. And if it's not worth it, I don't have to go get it - in 10 degree weather w/6" of snow, down a hill (truth).

And scheduled dr and dentist apps for me and the kids at the beginning or end of the day. Not to mention doing the PTA mom thing. Im lucky I made it through . I laugh when my kids complain about their full time jobs.

So sister and/or friend aren't around to even give her rides anywhere, either...looks like she's using Uber or cabs.

Yeah... you can have a fight with one person and that be their fault, but when EVERYONE in your life bails out on you, it's probably a YOU issue.

PS  Didn't she get caught stealing as a kid?  Wonder if she started again and that's why everyone is done with her...

I feel sorry for her. She needs someone to help her manage her food, she's obviously eating more than what's on de diet. She strikes me differently than some who won't try, but maybe I'm being taken in by a sob story.

Please don't just show up in Houston, sweetie. Not a good plan, given your track record.

Bye, folks. On to the tumors.

Year 1, and 1 month, another local clinic weigh in.

Weight- 635 lbs., so she lost 8 lbs this time.   Dr. Now is telling the truth, but she won't believe it.      She doesn't want to cooperate on therapy, and I think Dr. Now knows that.

I'm so sad for her.   I thought she was determined, but she doesn't want therapy, or really lose weight.  20 lbs. down in over a year isn't a real attempt.

Dr. Now looks so sad.

1 year and 4 months-still at the extended stay. She says she's working hard, and still planning to move to Houston.   She's not doing therapy either.     She could have changed and improved so much at her young age.   I'm so sad for her.

I'm not much of a joiner, so no PTA for me! And only one kid. Who works in the restaurant industry and loves his work. (He's a chef). And lucky for him, he has a very generous uncle, my brother, who just paid off his student loan debt.

Jesus, she can't even take a stagger through some sad shitty park. What a letdown.

There it is. "Get the help I need". Girl, you were GETTING the help you needed! You chose not to avail yourself of it! Sweet Jesus my blood pressure.

Well, this hour wasn't a total waste. I am going to try @Pepper Mostly's delicious sounding tuna and chickpea salad and I learned that it's OK to have a do-nothing day (I will let my girlfriend know about this). Have a great week and I will see you all back here next week.

Its really nice, I hope you enjoy it! Hit it with a squeeze of lemon and some olive oil, throw in some fresh mint or parsley. It makes a nice sandwich too!
