Jinger & Jeremy's latest podcast episode is out.  The topic is 'Distractions.'  Sounds boring, so I won't be watching it.  I did skip ahead to see if Jeremy has his usual footwear, and yes, he is again wearing just socks.

I just started watching it.  So far, the topic is not as boring as I thought it would be. 

ETA:  OK, I'm 15 minutes in and it's getting boring.  They have a tendency to go off on tangents from the main topic and then I zone out.  On a side note, they now have microphone stands.

I thought it was better at the end I skipped through a lot. The end was more about how her adjustment and trying to figure out who she was; the TV version vs the introvert she was feeling after leaving home.  Wasn't she going to do another book about being a people pleaser?  She talked about she was immature and many people figure out those things when they go away to college.  Even though the show gave them opportunities to travel and exposed them to many things it was still very sheltered.  So it was nice to see she had some insight (still has a long way to go) into how she was raised made it hard for her to know who she was  and to make friends outside of her bubble.

Previously, they either had or wanted Nike to sponsor them. But I think thats long gone. We havent seen the Nike fashion show in a long time.

IMO, Jinger is still afraid of her parents. She doesn't want to ruffle their feathers in her books and YouTube statements about them. She's playing both sides of the field....wants to speak up but doesn't want to lose her share of the inheritance. I think this is Jeremy's strategy and she's still following..it's Jeremy now.

I don't think it has anything to do with money. I think it has more to do with sharing her experiences without alienating the family she loves. What does she have to gain by putting the spotlight on her parents? I actually think Jinger is taking the high road, and really she says enough for folks to read between the lines.

As for inheritance, IMO it will not be much. JB&M still have many years in front of them and there's 19 kids (or 18 if they disinherit Jill).

Say JB&M had $5 million left. It would be around $250,000 for each kid. In 30ish years $250,000 won't be all that much money.

Wow, there is a lot going on in that still frame.

I’ve been thinking now that Jinger is a best selling author, in addition ➕ to being in a famous/infamous family, That they are getting all of these perks that the others aren’t. Come on, Jeremy isn’t that great with the donut ritual. Something doesn’t add up.

I don't remember the name, but didn't someone high up in the McArthur food chain get let go recently for inappropriate behavior?  I really do think Jeremy is on the fast track for promotion in some capacity in this organization.  I'm not saying he'll be a featured TV speaker anytime soon, but maybe a department head or in a leadership role of some kind.  He is still there, so I'm assuming he is happy in his work.

The Vs are busy. They both posted in their stories they were at an anti-abortion event.  It was a formal event held by Live Action (pro-life organization) giving awards to people and for their pro-life support; one being Coach Jim Harbaugh.

Jinger is pregnant and is due in March.  She did a live this morning and which included some more video telling various family.  His parents when they visited and then  her mom and sisters who made a trip there for Jana's bridal party trip. When she was in Arkansas for the wedding she l had a test to determine gender.  She is going to be doing a gender reveal later.

I'm not surprised and figured they would either try for a boy or have 3-4 kids (no way are they having 19!). And the girls are old enough to have a new sibling.

In June, Jinger talked in one of her videos about how many kids they'd have.  This is what I posted:

I have to give them credit for saying they'd like a boy. Jeremy said something like, they're curious about raising a boy, but being a girl dad is great. 

At the same time at least they didn't go as far as Erin Bates who had her kids pray for a boy.

It's very simple, Jinger.  If a woman is economically disadvantaged and cannot afford to give a child what it needs to grow and thrive, she is not being selfish to not have kids.  If a woman is a very nervous and impatient person and realizes that it takes the patience of a saint to raise a child, she is not being selfish to not have kids.  If a woman has to work at two jobs to make ends meet and knows she won't have time to devote to a child, she is not being selfish to not have kids.  Jinger simply cannot see things from the point of view of others, at least on this topic.
