💯 %. If I wanted to watch fighting I’d tune into The Bad Girls Club or Love and Hip Hop (fill in the city) or Basketball Wives. The screaming and ugliness are not at all interesting to me. Give me the luxury that is not in my life….thats what drew me to the franchise. 

Monica of the four names is a fraudster. So many leaked tapes are coming out to prove that. Of course she will be back, but she needs to get some PR training if she wants a better received sophomore season. No one wants to get behind a lying liar who lies while playing victim. That storyline is beyond played out on Housewives.

Mary might want to pay less attention to her son’s sex noises & more attention to his drug use and gun play.

I can't believe how rude Mary is, and often her behavior is unprompted. She brags about saying what she thinks to someone's face. Well you know what, Mary? You need a filter! You don't have to voice every thought that comes into your head. Doing so is often unkind and unnecessary. The woman isn't all there. Something is not connecting in her brain. 

I hope she never comes back on this show. I can barely stand to watch her. If I had a friend like Mary, I wouldn't be talking to her long. And her hair looked awful!

Exactly. Whitney rightly asked for an example of something she's said or done to give Mary this impression, and Mary couldn't think of anything. She simply has a feeling about it? Well I have a "feeling" that Mary is a hateful person. So there. 

Monica is also awful and her story about her names made no sense. I believe nothing she says. The woman seems like a compulsive liar. Having an abusive mother doesn't give her a pass to be abusive to others.

Mary adds absolutely nothing to the show and she is a terrible, mean spirited person.  I feel bad for her parishioners.  She takes their money and blows it on designer clothing and accessories.  Some of them probably have trouble paying their bills, let alone buy an indulgent gift for themselves.

Her church is closed. Has been for a couple of years. That's what I was alluding to when I mentioned that she probably made not talking about the church a condition of her return.

I have a feeling that intentionally sending in an inappropriate photo for visa purposes is something that these kids have figured out will delay the process, thus, delaying the eventual departure to less comfortable surroundings.

Jack is not smart enough to figure that out all by himself.  Kids talk, and kids figure out ways to get around things they may not want to do.  I'm curious as to how many other Mormon kids have done this in the past.

The fact that Lisa laughed about it makes me think that as much as she denied it, she really doesn't want him to go on mission, and she probably thought that was a pretty good way for Jack to delay his departure to Columbia.

I also think that she would be the one who thinks an underage kid getting a fake i.d. is a good thing, too.

I was wondering the same thing, but, also thought that maybe she wanted to try to get into soap operas.  Thirty years ago, a lot of soaps were filmed in New York.

I also think that either there is much more to the story that Linda and/or Monica isn't telling, OR that the entire story is another fabrication.

I really don't believe much of anything that comes out of Monica's mouth, and probably believe less than that if it is being said by Monica's Mom.

Wasn't  she also left, a good amount of money? She received that, on the condition  she marry her stepfather.  She's  as screwed up as the rest of them. I gave Meredith  the side eye last night, she loves Mary, why?  I like all sorts of housewives, because if they run the same, it's blah. I don't  believe Monica ran that account  on her own, what about Heathers  gem, from her glam squad.  I bet everyone  of those people  talk to one another. Why did Angie laugh  at that account. If Monica had a hand in bringing  Shah down, for stealing  from seniors, that makes me happy!!!!

I'm giving Angie a little side eye now.  First there were her "likes" on the Vontease site and now there is a video circulating that has Jen and Angie, with an appearance from Blonde Monica with a lot of last names.

It's cringy.  And awkward!  And so, so bad.

I thought the fall down the stairs was hilarious.  She's lucky she didn't break a leg or worse.  I once severely had a major sprain and broke my lower leg by a similar fall wearing inadequate foot wear.  Don't wipe off your flip flops before carrying a laundry basket down the steps.

I can’t believe Angie’s stairs have no railing.  That’s probably against code.  I have friends who have taken really bad falls, so I always hold the handrails now.  Those stairs looked steep and slick.  

I have a 3-story house, and I once fell several steps in wedges, so I always now carry my shoes in my hands.

Same. After my SIL fell down her basement stairs, breaking her wrist, three ribs, and sustaining a punctured lung, I ALWAYS hold the rails.

The only reunion ep that's going to be even remotely interesting is the last one.  The editing was to get all the garbage out of the way in the first episodes, so that the last one can actually have something interesting.

Seriously! I commented after her Easter episode that I'd hate going in or out of her house because there were a lot of stairs and no hand railings outside. Apparently, not inside either.  Forget clumsy kids or older folks with bad knees, just with those ridiculous shoes they wear, that's just stupid.

I was listening to a podcast yesterday (AllaboutTRH, I think) and there was mention of Linda saying she was somehow involved, or trying to get involved in television news, but that could mean anything from behind the scenes to in front of the cameras.  I'd have to see the HR and income tax statements  before I would believe it.

If I remember correctly, aside from the church involvement the grandmother had several different businesses which are still active and managed by the husband/step-grandfather. 

Bravo clearly likes to have at least one sideshow attraction on most RH franchises. More outrageous and comic relief than villain material. People like Ramona on NY, Sutton on BH, Danielle C. on NJ, etc. All a bit "one of these things is not like the others" skewed in various ways. Mary is it for SLC.  What I don't get with the SLC cast is the charade that Mary is anything other than someone to be laughed at.  Not one of them takes the opportunity to really put her in her well deserved place after her outrageous statements. My best guess is that they are afraid of being labeled as racist and that Mary knows that too and also uses it to her advantage.

Mary called Whitney racist on social media as payback for Whitney saying Mary and her husband were predators in Season 2. She agreed in the reunion that Whitney didn't say anything to her personally. I don't understand why Whitney was too accomodating, and nice toward her. 

Monica sent a bill for a head CT scan/MRI to Angie after she fell in her house although production paid for it!

I think it got confusing because Lisa's initial reply to Andy's question about Jack being in California was something sarcastic about him bouncing from Columbia and now surfing in California.  She then said his departure was delayed because he sent in a shirtless photo for his visa which was rejected and he had to redo his paperwork.  I'll believe it when I see photos of him trotting through the streets of Bogota wearing his mission attire and backpack.

You know, I typed it both ways, and it just didn't look "right" to me with the correct spelling, although it didn't look wrong, either (does that make sense?).

I can't even comprehend Jack actually attending Columbia University (my husband's godson, who is a brilliant research MD now, graduated from there around 12 years ago).  He MAY, however, be smart enough to attend that Columbia School of Writing or whatever it was that Kelly Bensimon (RHONY) attended, when she used to fake-tell people she attended Columbia - leaving out the last part.

Funniest moment of the episode: they bring in Mary - who stays in her closet half the time, and when she joins the cast outings, she stays in the sprinter van to get McDonalds or whatever - and then everyone has to stay quiet when Andy asks her very politely who Mary likes in the cast. Lol! Special treatment, much? Why are they putting up with her shit? It's funny, sometimes, yes, for the viewers, but very insulting towards the actual cast who attend to every shit fest.

 

Yes, I realize it's Bravo, but I'm still insulted on behalf of the cast.

Honestly, I think this is what it is and this is why Whitney backed down so quickly. These women know arguing with Mary is a fools errand and Mary is known to just throw things out there. I really hope she is not back next season, this show does not need her and her weird energy

Yep.  I thought Whitney did a good job with that one - she remained kind and patient, and got Mary to admit that she actually hadn't done anything to warrant such a charge.  Screaming, carrying on and reminding Mary that she herself is the one who doesn't like black people would not have achieved that!

Mary called Whitney racist already as payback for the "predator" comment. She justified it in the reunion by saying that Whitney didn't say anything racist, but that's how she feels.
