Okay, so even Scheana sat Ariana down and told her that she thought Tom and Raquel were having an affair. You know, there is something to this “she didn’t want to hear the truth” narrative. I mean, sure, it sounds like Tom was not telling her the truth whatsoever, but there were enough people surrounding her and telling her something seems untoward between these two, and she continued to ignore it. Now suddenly she’s going to dictate that they can’t sit next to each other? And everyone listens because she does seem a little scary right now. Anyway, apparently Tom had many opportunities to come clean because their entire friend group questioned both him and Ariana on several occasions. And yet somehow they were all clutching their pearls and running to their podcast mics because it was such a shock. Bullshit. They all knew—or at least suspected—so it shouldn’t have been as earth-shattering to this group as it was.

Schwartz tossing around his economy-sized Xanax bottle made me chuckle. Maybe some of these people should have taken him up on it.

This is what I think went down. Ariana has no interest in Tom (who could blame her), but rather than break up she clung onto the relationship because they had some sort of weird partnership going on. I believe they were not intimate, and I truly think that she was aware of the relationship, but didn’t want confirmation.  I don’t think she trusted him after Miami girl so this whole “I had no idea” is really not adding up. Ariana seems like a tough cookie that micromanages Tom.

I'm not gonna blame Ariana for not picking up those blazing red flags for lots of reasons: the death of her dog, the death of her grandmother, the inability to also acknowledge that you partner of nine hears and the woman who you have treated like a little sister are fucking like weasels behind your back is understandably a bridge too far. Her wanting to maintain the idea that these two people she loved weren't that godddamn awful is to her credit, not a failing.

I think Tom was absolutely sleeping with Ariana the last seven months, and IMO was never going to break up with her,  certainly not to be with Rachel, that wasn't the appeal, the appeal was in the illicitness not in the idea of having a relationship with her. He had a relationship in his own words the best one he's EVER had and leaving Ariana would be a financial disaster for him given the equity loan for S&S. He is incredibly stupid, but not THAT stupid.

Eh I think their contracts have some language about refusing to film especially at the reunions, because I feel like it's Andy's bright red line. Regardless their contracts are year to year, so if he pisses them off by refusing to film they can just..not invite him back, and there is no way he doesn't want to be invited back, I think the producer was trying to help him out with any higher ups that might just decide to be over him.

I’m pretty sure there was a legal document that stated they wouldn’t get paid (at least for that episode). Raquel didn’t seem eager to move her ass.
