Blergh September 30 Share September 30 I once knew someone who blamed the Space Program for the hole in the ozone layer because. ..the rockets getting thrust into outer space somehow had pierced the atmosphere which (as per my acquaintance) had punctured the ozone layer creating said hole! THAT person's theory was more logical and smarter than Miss Barr's re the Earth being on a disc being thrust upward into space keeping everything from flying off. I take it she never tried to put a marble on top of a toy top to see how long it would stay on. .. 2 5 Link to comment

Blergh September 30 Share September 30 By any chance does Miss Barr have an explanation for why it is that the North Pole has continuous daylight for six months, then continuous nightfall for six months at the very same time while the South Pole has continuous nightfall for six months then continuous daylight for six months each and every single calendar year? Isn't the idea that the Earth is flat linked to the idea that it's the center of the universe and all stars, including the Sun, revolve around it? So some of it might be the idea that it's all those anti-religious scientists who want everyone to think that we are not the center of the universe and naturally superior to everything. 8 hours ago, Kel Varnsen said: The other strange thing I was thinking of, is that if the flat earth thing was a conspiracy theory with even the slightest bit of credibility, you know there would be some billionaire weirdo with access to a rocket (like Musk or something) who would be like "I want to see what is on the other side" and launch a rocket to see what was on the other side of the flat surface. Vermicious Knid October 11 Share October 11 It's not like we can be more disappointed with him but; Kanye sued by former “director of intelligence” who says he was tasked with investigating the Kardashians for sex trafficking and tailing Bianca Censori. Quote In the lawsuit, the plaintiff, who is identified as John Doe, states that the rap artist hired him in late 2022 and that he was made to conduct investigations, "including those involving attorneys and parties that have filed suit" against Kanye. "Doe" alleges that in addition to being tasked to investigate the Kardashian-Jenners, the music producer also had him "hire private investigators to follow and 'tail' his current wife, Bianca Censori, when she was travelling alone to visit family in Australia, without Ms. Censori’s knowledge."... "Doe" also alleges in his lawsuit that this past May, he received a call from an employee of Donda Academy—a private school Kanye founded in 2021 and which closed in June, according to public records—informing him that "abuse of children had occurred at Donda and that supposedly nothing was done to correct or report the problem." The man said he "immediately informed the remaining Yeezy leadership of the report about the Donda student(s)," and that later that day, Kanye himself called him "to yell, curse and threaten" him with "great bodily injury, including death," if he repeated the information. 9 Link to comment

In his view the town is just a cesspool at this point.” “Past associations”. Please, they wrote a statement for Masterson last year. In other celebrity news, I feel bad for Jack Quaid. Irlandesa October 14 Share October 14 I don't blame them for knowing two rapists (at least). Hiding in plain sight is common for serial abusers. I do blame them for defending one of them, though. And if the article is true (hard to know given the source), whining about being associated with them is a weird stance. Just say you're shocked and condemn the behavior. Although it wouldn't shock me if Ashton was closer to the negative behavior than not. I'm not accusing him of anything at all. But sometimes there are people that shock you.
