I think Eric likes the idea of being a parent. Not the day to day drudgery. Sloan will find a nanny real fast.

I agree with everyone, how in the world did Whitley roll Lani down to the docks without anybody seeing her?!  And then raced back to her apartment in record time!  Meanwhile, Why is Lani wearing High Heels?!  They are lovely, but I would not think prisoners are wearing High Heels with their ankle monitors?!

I'm sad to say Kim Coles did not deliver in her breakdown scenes today. The dialogue was there. It should have been heartbreaking.

There were several really weird set-up moments today. EJ revealed he flew in a doctor....but not to do something shady, only to tell him the sex of the baby..? That's it? And then Belle shows up with Kristen right behind her, so Brady asks if they carpooled, but Belle says it doesn't matter and.....what? What was the point of that?

A Christmas in July miracle! Hey, today, AMC is showing holiday movies and a local radio station of mine is also doing Christmas in July, due to the heat, so this tracks!

I like that they gave a short, simple, tragic backstory for Whitley that explained why she became fixated on Abe. Although really, woman needs to be in Bayview.

He brought the doctor in earlier because she's a specialist and Nicole has that condition or whatever that kept her from carrying to term. Nicole had already seen her about that while EJ was locked in the wine cellar.

I was getting a kick out of Li & Melinda's bad dates...Connie the overly talkative girl, and Alex trying to be "So Cool" and Melinda called him out on his glasses on & off which we have all commented on being annoying.  Melinda does seem older than Li...I thought she was supposed to be in her 50s, while I would put Li in his late 30's, but they are a 'fun couple" for now.  But, I am So Confused as to the time of day/night?!  Li & Melinda are on dates, dressed up for a fancy 'evening out"...I assumed it was Evening.  Tripp & Wendy seemed to be eating Dinner...but the other couples(Nicole/EJ & Sloan/Eric, Chad/Steph)seemed to be doing Daytime activities like going to the Hospital for Doctor appointments & Chad was out running.   Sloan stops by the Restaurant to talk to Melinda while on her way to the Hospital, I was so confused. :)  I guess Salem is in an "Alternate Universe"

I loved Leo calling out all the dead people coming back to life and all the weddings exploding he should have easy gossip column info. 

Chad and Steph are such a waste of space.  She's telling Dimitri she and Abby were family while living with her husband a year after she died.

Finally got caught up on this week's shows.

Gosh show, it was so VERY subtle the way the camera kept coming back to EJ's DNA test.  I don't think it was more than approximately 27 times.  We've ALL known the kid is actually Eric's so it was a really big waste of anvils.

Isn't Alex showing up all the time a more extreme version of what Chad was doing when he kept showing up every time Alex and Stephanie were on a date?

Whether it makes sense or not, I definitely think we're supposed to see Melinda as around 40.

I don't have Peacock anymore  and likely won't renew so I catch up with the show on this forum.  Is it definitive that Eric is the baby daddy or is that the assumption because of anvils dropping? If so, too bad - I thought 3rd time would be the charm for a EJole baby. And I'm gonna guess the baby is a boy. Just my guess.

I mean, if the show can have Kirsten have a kid despite the fact that she is a Baby Boomer who should be WELL into her 60's, and that it seems to be treating Shawn & Belle like they're around their early 40's despite the massive SORAS they gave Claire, Melinda still being in her 40's despite her having a daughter that would have been about 28 if she had lived is nothing.

There is no definitive info that Eric is the Daddy...yet. Just that Sloan isn't 😄

The show does not have many males in their 40s who are single or otherwise available. Stefan, Brady, Shin Sr., Xander. I thought Trask was in her mid 40s. Li Shin would be age appropriate (he’s what-35-38ish?).

If I was Sloan, I would keep my pregnancy quiet for another few weeks. Sure, keep it with Eric, but it is way too early to share the news.

EJ should want genetic testing. Nicole and him are in their 40s and it is the g to do.

I did chuckle when Wendy choked at hearing Tripp had been married.

I double checked and it looks like Hayley showed up in 2018 as about 22/23-ish. Okay, so my fanwank is that Melinda was born in 1979, Hayley was born in 1995, and the math now works for me. Whew. Although since it seems like the show is expanding Melinda's character (please do!) I wonder her backstory might get tweaked around or revisited.

I get that they're supposed to be the fun new BFFs who we love to hate and get a laugh out of...but it's so forced. I got Paulina’s slapping Whitley but the woman also is seriously mentally ill. She thinks the shrink is a soap character.

Gwen is that dense with Leo and her fiancé in his underwear? No, they are not the same build and one of Leo’s suits will not fit Dimitri. She knows her bff is gay and I would be wondering if my fiancé is gay or bi. 

If I was Abe, I would enjoy creating a new life away from everyone.

Wonder if Sloan will try to tamper the genetic testing or switch the swabs.

When Talia Hunter (Jada's sister) poisoned the biscuits at Chanel's bakery, Nicole and Eric were drugged and ended up high and slept together. Nicole later found out she was pregnant, meaning it was either Eric or EJ as the father. She was far enough along to do a DNA test. Neither guy knew about the pregnancy, which means she had to get a DNA swab from each. Sloan found out and volunteered to swab Eric's cheek while he was sleep. EJ went out of town when Nicole was planning on swabbing him behind his back. Long story short, Sloan swabbed her own cheek, pretended the sample was Eric's. Eric and EJ find out Nicole is pregnant, they test the fake Eric swab and conclude EJ is the father because of course Eric's "swab" doesn't match. 

The specialist handling Nicole’s pregnancy wants to do genetic testing, so of course she needs a swab sample from EJ. Sloan finds out about the genetic testing,  panics and steals the results. Todays episode we find out that EJ is not a match for the baby, meaning the father is Eric. The question is will Sloan continue to scheme to keep the truth from coming out.

Lol, Li's date was Connie. She was on the show a couple of months ago. She was a client of Sloane’s.  Cute they brought her back to be Li's date.

Thanks, as this was what I didn’t know was happening.  It really sucks that the show is making Eric the baby daddy, as I posted before that I was hoping this 3rd EJole baby would “stick”.  I think the way the truth about Nicole’s baby daddy will be revealed is if the baby needs a blood/bone marrow donation from a blood relative.

So why make Eric the father?  Will Ericole be Endgame (for the nth time)?

I’m so sick of the “who’s the daddy “ plots.  Especially when  it comes to this storyline.

I’m annoyed with Eric’s desperate obsession with having a child. Maybe he should try forming a relationship first. With someone he can then start a family with.  ***NOT WITH NICOLE ***
..been there done that far too many times than I want to remember. 
They just don’t work.

I like Nicole and EJ’s chemistry…show should stay with it.
