Roberta knows exactly how to play these two. Tears, hugging and saying I love you, I miss you will do the trick for these two weirdo's. I wouldn't be surprised if Ick and Danielle are financing Roberta and her mom's entire lifestyle. 

Why hasn't Bert taken this year apart to study English? What is the deal with the language barrier? I think she wants it that way so she doesn't have to explain herself in any detail to them. 

You don't need to tell your Realtor that you need a bedroom to accommodate your 12 ft bed. You just say you need a huge master bedroom and take the measurements yourself. Such a bunch of BS. I'm sad they are bringing a baby in to this sick mess.

They don't mention any kids with Brenda, so I assume there are none. I don't even know why she stays with him. In the previews for next week it shows Steve introducing his son Preston to April. I guess daughter Jayden decided to skip this "meet and greet." Good for you Jayden! His son has look like "What the F?" and April is standing there giggling like she's meeting her prom date for the first time. weird.

A Queen bed is 5 feet wide, so two Queens with their fitted sheets would work, though for upper sheets it would get complicated. 

The idea is repellent to me - not just because of the people involved, but as a person who likes to sleep cold, the thought of all that body heat is horrifying.

With me, it would be having to pee 3X a night, and I agree with you about body heat.  I'm willing to bet they don't move to another room to have sex with The Thinker, and just do it right there in the communal bed.  Yuck!

But didn't they say the bed is going to be 12 feet wide?  That's more than 5 X 2.  I didn't check the link above to see what a monstrosity 12 feet bed costs.  I just bought a new mattress recently, and by itself, it cost over $1,000, for a hybrid.  I looked at a lot of mattresses, and the costs ranged from a few hundred, to upward of 5 G's.  

I also bet Nick won't do daddy daycare with the new baby.  He doesn't cook, or do housework.  What a lazy toad.

Do we think it’s over between Bert and the Merrifields?  Next weeks episode looks like Dani and Bert might have had a falling out, I hope instead of crying and appeasing Bert,  Dani speaks her mind.  No words for that gang, the mother looks fine, got there on her own and everything.  I can’t wait to find out how it ended with them.  Again, so many urges to punch Ick, the guy moves and speaks at a snails pace.   Sidian and Ick must have been separated as birth, they are both slow witted bores.  Little Epps just wants to get laid and those stupid women can’t see thru him.  I just laugh with the Davis family, a 12 ft bed, these people are nuts.  Bobble head doesn’t know what is in store for her.

As much as people think Bert wants to stay in Brazil and milk them for cash until they give up, if the ultimate goal is settling in the States, she may well take the leap.  The situation is kind of gross, but traditionally the first job for new immigrants is a means to an end.  The key will be timing a pregnancy so that her mother is free to come over and "help with the baby" around the time she's making moves to leave and set up her own household.  The mom's attitude seemed to be "go get it, kid."

I don't begrudge her, by the way.  Hundreds of thousands (millions?) of women have taken similar gambles to escape poverty in their homelands.

Brenda found herself a guy with some money and a leisured, well off lifestyle. She's going to hang onto him for all she's worth. No way she's going back to the dating pool as a single woman approaching 40.

They are going to keep Danielle home with no outside life and groom her for that. Cooking, cleaning and nanny day care. Or....she's going to haul ass once she finds out about the pregnancy.

(another post mentioned her sausage stuffed self).  She seems like she will get on great with all of them actually, espeically the dark haired one who felt the need to tell the realtor why they need the big bedroom.

Haven't seen epi yet, but it sounds familiar. I remember when Kody Brown of Sister Wives would tell unsuspecting sales clerks that all the women present were his wife.  Most were like "Meh". I think he always wanted a bigger reaction and was disappointed not to get one.

I have to assume a lot of the scenes on this show (and others, like Sister Wives) wherein one of these people tell a hapless store clerk or service worker all about their marital arrangements and living situation are staged and producer-led. They are all so unnatural and fakey. There is no reason to tell the nice girl at the baby store about the baby with three mommies and one daddy.

It's part of these shows to overshare with innocent sales people, wait staff, and anyone else they run into.  They all have to sign a release, and the camera crew doesn't exactly blend into the woodwork.  At the same time, occasionally we get a real response from someone.  I did like the realtor looking at the like, "Sure, crazy people, you do you.  At least I'll get a good story to tell my friends."  He looked like he was both trying not to laugh and trying to figure out the logistics on the bed comment.
