I do get that MaryAnne being so open and eloquently explaining her decisions is moving, but besides holding back that final idol, what else has made her game so compelling to win the whole shebang?  I’d be moved if I were on the jury, but I’m still not sure I’d vote for her.

Mike couldn't even do that, so I think that helps her.

I hate final episodes. I don't care for all the talking. I just want to see who won the final challenges, who won the fire making challenge and who won the game. I usually skip the jury questions, the recaps and reflections, if there are any. However, I'm glad I'm not skipping it this time because I had expectations, and wrong expectation excite me on shows like Survivor. I like being surprised and Maryanne is surprising me from the person we were introduced to at the beginning of the season. My money is on Maryanne.

I semi-miss the live audience, but I really love the raw emotion of the vote.  By the time the vote was read months later, whoever won knew it, and whoever lost knew it.  I feel bad saying this, but the look on Mike's face with every MaryAnne vote is what I love about this show.

Yeah, I don't know if MaryAnne just had an incredible TC performance and he didn't, and that swayed people in her favor, or if they already knew they were voting for her.  Either way, MaryAnne's emotion at winning, Mike looking disappointed...good times.

On a totally shallow note, Omar is looking good tonight.

I'm glad Maryanne won. When I firstnread the spoiler about it I didn't see how she would and I didn't really want her to.  But I got to like her more and more, and in these last two episodes showed me why.
