Also, Delilah finally meets her mother's vigilante team when she requires Mel and Harry's help to prove a fellow classmate has made her best friend a victim of revenge porn.

Crap -- I knew they were going to end it on a cliffhanger! 😠

They kind of went to extremes with Dee's revenge porn story, but I still thought it was a well done plot for her. Now she's met the team!

So... new nemesis for Harry?

The standout outfit for me was Mel's bejeweled jacket; just because it was another case of 'why are you so dressed up just to stand in a cave?'

Oh, and since this has been renewed for 2 more seasons, I'm guessing that's how long catching Quinn is going to take. Sorry, folks.

Letting Manhattan get nuked will let the series relocate to L.A. or Vegas...

Calling it now, the CIA took her to put her into a deep undercover op.

And some how I don't think that's a crazy theory at all.

Oh jeez, no.  I hate long drawn out protagonist against bogeyman storylines.  They drag the show down.

I agree that Dee's storyline went on a bit but it was good she met the team as she can now get ahold of them now that her mom's been snatched not to mention Dante.

And yes, Harry has his own nemesis to deal with now.

My only complaint is I felt like in 2022 the girls at the school should have rallied behind Vera without being guilted into it by D. They should have immediately turned on Puke and not Vera.

You'd think if it were the CIA they'd kidnap her in a safer way than t-boning her car and possibly killing Robyn as well as injuring/killing Aunt Vi and Dee.

My thoughts exactly!

I thought it was a very strong season finale and I am looking forward to next season.

I don't know...I'm not sure that teenage girls have changed all THAT much.

I'll be honest...I groaned out loud and put my head in my hands when Vera said she gave that douche ammunition to ruin her life just so he would like her. The Mom in me was pretty appalled. I want better for the children, especially the young women. I am glad that D has the connections she has and was able to get the situation fixed.

I agree but it would have been a nice change of pace to see them sticking up for her.

Well, this is definitely the best Delilah episode. She was great in this one and prior to this I was not warm to her character at all.

I wish the school had initially reacted by rallying around the victim but there was a case here in British Columbia not too long ago that was similar except it did have a tragic ending. It is infuriating to think about so I'll leave it at that and give the show credit for being thorough even if they had to wrap it up in 42 minutes.

The CIA plot is the one that fell flat for me. There is a dirty bomb threat against NYC. The city's only hope is an ex-CIA agent who moonlights as a vigilante. She's the only one who has a personal vendetta against this evil terrorist and therefore she's the only one willing to put in the work to actually find him. All those agencies under Homeland Security? Nah, they couldn't be bothered. The 35,000 uniformed cops of the NYPD? They all had the day off or something.

I don't think so. I mean Harry and Mel are part of her team and we didn't see them being taken.

I did like Harry's comment on how he has "ethically sourced" porn.

Well that's done till next season.

I hadn't realised this was the season finale until I came here... bummer.  I hope Brett Dalton gets added as a regular for next season.  Robyn still needs a CIA contact and I'd say trading Chris Noth for Brett Dalton isn't a bad outcome.

I thought this was a particularly powerful episode for Delilah.  The actress was great in this storyline.

I agree that I was a bit surprised that the other girls didn't rally around Vera.  She was popular enough to be running for class president, so why wouldn't she have had more friends and supporters besides Dee?  I also thought the school handled it very poorly.  Yes, Vera should not have sent the photo to Logan, but I was amazed that the female school psychologist would be the one to slut shame her and chastise her for doing so.  Vera is a teen, teens make poor decisions sometimes, the psychologist should be well used to dealing with the teens and their issues and should have been more supportive.

Also, why couldn't the school principal and administration team pull Logan into the office and discuss the situation with him?  Vera said she didn't send the photo to anyone else, of course it was him.  Why not at least talk to him and get his side of the story?  Of course he is going to deny it, but shouldn't the school at least owe it to a fellow student who is accusing someone else of this crime?  The whole aspect of this incident was appalling.

Question... I know that Harry deleted her image from the Russian oligarch's porn sites... but what about everyone's phone?  Is he able to somehow scrub everyone's phone?  I would think not, right?

I agree that I would have thought the CIA and FBI and all sorts of agencies would be all over the dirty bomb threat.  Brett Dalton and Robyn are running the whole operation?  I get that it's a TV show but yeah you would think there would be a lot more people involved.

Well the whole thing was very TV. How did Logan get every student in the school's cell phone number so that he could sent them all the picture at the same time? That sounds like something the school might be able to do in case of an emergency, like a school shooter or a school cancellation, like from snow. It seems like the school might be sued if the student phone list ended up in the hands of a student and was used to distribute child pornography.

How can anybody like a potential College or employer hold it against Vera if somebody puts her face onto the body of someone in a porn video. This seems like anybody who has ever taken a picture of their face might be a victim and in no way should Vera be blamed and there is no way for a person to protect against it. I would be more suspect of the person in question, if they even knew that it had happened.

Another very TV thing is when a compromising video of an average person has been uploaded on the internet for one day, the offended person can find it quite easily.

I just watched this and haven’t read the thread yet. Just have to say, WHY did they think it was a good idea to preview the very final scene of the season two weeks ago? Kind of blows the cliffhanger concept.

Ok, now I’ve read all. I liked the episode, the character and relationship growth, and the whole trust theme. Looking forward to seeing them all develop further next season. Overall, I appreciate how the writers “grew” Delilah’s personality and sensibilities over the season. She was rather tedious early on, as all teens are, but the writers dealt with that in a fairly realistic manner (if a bit swiftly). Still don’t appreciate the preview of the ending scene so long ago. What was gained?}

Yeah, I agree it was probably the CIA who took Robyn. I'm surprised too they used the last scene as a preview two weeks ago. It would have been so much better if they hadn't. That would have been a big shock.

I really liked Delilah's story. I wish the other girls had rallied around Vera without being shamed but that was probably sadly accurate. Honestly, the school's reaction was sadly accurate. I'm glad Delilah got to meet the team. I liked her learning more about her mom from Mel. I'm glad she realized the text meant her friend was about to commit suicide and she did a good job talking her down. I loved seeing Logan arrested at the end. I hope he gets beaten up in jail. I'm the oligarch's system was wiped out and Harry made it look like he was for the Ukraine in the war.

You and me both. After awhile, I forget what this subplot is all about, and the story gets so convoluted I stop caring. It ruined "Burn Notice" for me.

I would think the many celebrities who spoke up as the "Me Too" movement was gaining momentum would have made a big impact on girls since they seem obsessed with social media, and celebrity, and following trends. To me, this part of the episode seemed to have been written in 1992, not 2022. These are NYC girls with smart phones.

Damn. I'm torn between thinking that yes, that was the CIA abducting Robyn, or it was Evil VIllain's people. Though I suspect Dante is going to have to defuse a nuclear bomb early in the next season.

What I liked about Delilah's character this season is how they've show her growth as not just a woman, but as her mother's daughter and her Aunt's descendant. ANd thank goodness the show gave her a support network in Harry & Mel before they whisked Robyn away. (I LOVE Mel's BFF delight in finally meeting Delilah).

I'm not all that interested in International Intrigue as a long-running plot line. The episodes I like best have dealt with individuals victimized by institutional racism, sexism, etc. It was VERY satisfying when Dante came and perp-walked the teenage douche out of his school. And also well-played when he gave Delilah Robyn's "Equalizer" number.

Dammit. They've changed showrunners and we have to wait all summer for the next season. I HOPE there is not a pivot away from the best themes and plotlines.

I also had an inkling, since Brett is the only person she talked to, and he's the only one who told her that they wanted her to head this operation, that he could have been lying.
