I know nothing of Todrick Hall beyond when he was on American Idol, and I am loving him here.  Doesn’t hurt that he’s beautiful (I am shallow) and his voice is so damn soothing.

Another fun episode. Contrary to our feverish speculation, no one had Covid, there were no fights, and no one quit. It was mostly very mellow. Even Shanna and Lamar were getting along! 

Poor Marai though. I have to keep reminding myself that even though she comes across as sweet and adorable, she's actually a tough-as-nails, driven Olympic competitor. I don't think she'll just curl up in bed and give up. 

I laughed to see Cynthia wearing the giant purse on her head at the nomination ceremony. It looked so random. 

Meanwhile I noticed Todd pulling his hoodie up for what he probably expected to be his nomination. He was probably as surprised as ChrisK when it wasn't him. 

I know Todrick is good socially, but how many alliances can one person handle? 

It occurs to me that part of the CBB contract probably says that they won't show the celebs doing anything stupid or super embarrassing. Otherwise I doubt if they'd get anyone. It's just a theory though. We'll see. 

Everyone is being so reasonable and good-natured. I wonder how long it will last?

At the other end, Kattan is just collecting a fee and getting camera time by being so awkward. I really don't think he cares. And Todd Bridges isn't much better. I thought he'd more involved.

He's sharp and clever. And so far has a great social game.  I thought he'd might get in trouble when NSYNChris and Mirai found out he had multiple alliances, but never came up. Still he does need to be careful about overplaying. Mirai could put two and two together on why she's nominated probably rather easily.

 The Faux Bye Bye Bye musical cue is going to get old fast.  Wait, what's that?  Already old?  Yeah, definitely already old. 

 You escaped the vortex to hell that is the Kardashians and you want to go back?   I guess a susceptibility to Stockholm Syndrome could be a plus in Big Brother.

When I saw the hat, I thought they were all about to get sorted. Then I thought how I wouldn’t want to be the last one with that hat on my head. Who knows what combination of hair gel, Rogaine and lice has been smashed into the lining.

Okay, I feel asleep on the couch shortly after the Marai/Miesha meeting where she floated putting up Todd/Kattan with a Teddi backdoor, and mentioned putting Marai up as a pawn to guarantee a veto win for their "side." I woke up halfway through whatever comes on after CBB. I check and see the noms are Marai and Carson? Since I won't get to rewatch or search for snippets until after work, I shall ask you valued peeps - was there a reason for this? Carson could be in danger since he knows most of the people in the house, has a great social game, and is close with Todrick. Is Teddi still a target? I swear, I was so excited for this stupid show, and I couldn't even make it through the second episode!

Damn, Mirai, all you had to do was keep your mouth shut. What good does it do to warn Teddi she is Miesha's target? The only thing she can do about it is try to make some kind of deal with her, which would tip her off that you blabbed to her and put the target on your own back. 

I can't decide whether or not the hat thing was stupid. It seems so on the surface but it sort of forces everyone to reveal who they wouldn't want to keep safe.

I'm liking the group so far. Carson is my fave, for now. He is over the top, but he owns it.

Add me to this list as well. I kept waiting for her to say that she was going to nominate a couple of 'floaters'.

I checked back on my tivo to see how long that whole hat portion took. I was suprised it was only 8 minutes. It was however a SLOW eight minutes that I'll never get back. As for the 'twist' I guess I'll wait and see what the 'curse' part is before deciding.

I was waiting to Julie to say that America's Vote would be if we all wanted to join one of Toddrick's alliances.
