I had to turn it off after a while today. Not a huge Alex and Simon fan, but I wanted to slap Lu on how she talked down to Alex.  She was so rude and condescending.

I would have told Kelly to back the fuck off and to not touch me - as she did to Alex. And she could shove all of the shhhhh's where the sun doesn't shine.  She really said Alex was weird or acting weird? The person who had a huge breakdown on Scary Island is telling someone else they are weird?? Then whined that her henna tattoo was messed up?? Have several seats Ms Satchels of Gold.

I just finished the regular episodes of season six—I still have the reunion—and I think it might have been the second best RHNYC season of all time (second to season three), if not the most underrated one for sure.  I think the problem with the season is that the more recent seasons tend to be remembered for their vacations, and the vacations totally sucked, both the visit to the Berkshires and Montana.

But there were hidden gems all over the rest of the season!  There was stuff I had no idea that had ever been on the show.  They went to Saratoga and Kristen, Carole, Luann and Heather won $3,000 when Sonja was to cheap to pitch in (oh, and also because “old money” doesn’t bet that way, according to Sonja).  So she got really drunk and cursed everyone out over and over, packed her shit in the car, said she was going to the Hamptons (from Saratoga!  Which would take like eight hours) and then as soon as the women assured her they weren’t cursing at her, Sonja shrugged it off and went to the bars with them and made a drunken ass out of herself.

Then there was this crazy Sonja and Harry relationship which was completely faked.  They were pretending to be this serious couple and he even got her a ring until he left Carole’s birthday party in a cab with Luann and the next thing we knew, the relationship was just off, never to be spoken of again.  Sonja also had this fake 23 year old boyfriend Brian that stopped calling her after Ramona called his mother.  Where was Tom, Sonja’s “lover” of ten years through this?

It’s so interesting that Tom never shows up for Sonja.  The only time we hear of him prior to Luann is in season one with Ramona.  That is so interesting for a lover of 10 years.  Sonja couldn’t even keep a lover of one night (the pirate) off the show.  And I completely forgot the facialist said Sonja slept with Russ in LA when Carole was with him and she didn’t deny it.

The other thing that shocked me was that Luann and Aviva got into a pretty big fight, because a former Miss USA showed up at Luann’s charity luncheon and Aviva saw her and told the women that this same former Miss USA had shown up to her house to have a threesome with George and his fiancé, so by Luann’s magical deduction (she wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer back then either) Aviva must have invited Miss USA to the luncheon to cause a stir, and Luann started yelling at Aviva in Aviva’s home while she was drinking Aviva’s wine.  Who does that?

Luann went so low.  She was such a bitch.  She realized she had no traction on the issue and just started telling Aviva that Aviva should call her father a pedophile, and what is he doing sleeping with all these women, so Aviva asked what Luann’s daughter was doing making art about sex, lol.  It jogged my memory that Luann would call Carole a pedophile for going out with Adam in season seven.  Luann, you nut case, “pedophile” has a specific meaning.  It’s a person sexually attracted to children.  If “pedophile” just meant sleeping around like crazy, Luann herself would be a pedophile.

The thing that was most puzzling to me of all was that final party when Aviva threw her leg.  The first time I saw it, all I could think was the obvious, “oh my God, she threw her leg.”  This time around, I realized something the women were saying didn’t square up.  Everyone agreed that Aviva had lost 10 or 15 lbs since she’d seen them last.  And she truly did look gaunt.  Aviva said she was eating really carefully, because she was trying to stop the reflux that caused her asthma.  She brought x-rays and doctor’s notes to show the women.  But no one wanted to look at those things.  They just wanted to make fun of Aviva and I didn’t really understand their argument.

Kristen just did a talking head that Aviva looked “like shit” because of her weight loss and Ramona said she thought it was because Aviva couldn’t be away from Reid.  First of all, Kristen, sorry not everyone can be as prettty as you.  Second of all, Ramona, why would Aviva have lost all this weight if her problem was that she couldn’t be away from Reid, if she hadn’t been away from Reid because she didn’t go to Montana?  No one could account for the weight loss.  Carole and Heather just kept saying it was Munchausen’s.  I think if it was psychosomatic, it was probably hypochondria, but, let’s say they’re right and it was Munchausen’s.  Why be cruel to her?  Isn’t that a mental illness?  Why does that involve shouting in someone’s face?  Why not just ignore her?

It was just really gross.  Aviva was clearly ill.  Her weight alone made her anorexic (I’m not saying she had the mental disease of anorexia nervosa, I’m saying her weight was so low that she had the health condition of anorexia).  The only one showing any compassion was Sonja.  Kirsten was leading the charge and just being the biggest bitch.  So Aviva threw her prosthesis across the room.  It was actually really funny to me.  She didn’t throw it at anyone.  That would have not been funny.  I don’t know what the reunion is going to bring, but I do respect a woman who can sit with five women who are against her and hold her own.  I still wish her tenure could have overlapped with Bethenny’s, although I think it was a good idea for Aviva to go after two seasons.  She was entertaining, but exhausting.

I know I start liking Kristen in season seven as soon as she lets Bethenny know in no uncertain terms that she isn’t buying Bethenny’s bullshit, but this season was hard for me to get through with Kristen.  She got a ton of screen time, and it seemed like she used three quarters of it bitching at Josh for more time with him, and to be a priority.  Bitching, especially in such an ugly goofy way, is never going to get a person to want to come home.

I think it was very clear that Kristen was really unhappy and unfulfilled being a mom, and she was jealous that Josh got to escape it all day, every day.  What killed me was when the physical therapist came over to help teach their daughter to walk, Kristen wasn’t paying attention, she was too busy bitching at Josh, who said he got up at 5 every day to help the kid walk.  I wonder how much he had to buy her when the whole Ashley Madison scandal broke and it turned out Josh was not spending all that time at work by a long shot!  As of 2020, they were still married.  I wonder if he upgraded their shitty apartment.  That’s about the only thing I could think that would stave off a divorce after this monstrosity of a marriage that played out on TV.

So I watch assorted HW shows but for some reason never watched the NY ladies. Since we've been in quarantine and I just got Hulu, I thought why not start this from the beginning? I had of course heard their names and knew a little about them just from reading a few random news stories and visiting HW forums. It was interesting watching the early seasons knowing about all the divorces and deaths (RIP Bobby).  I just finished season 6 and here are my thoughts in no particular order:

  1. I started disliking Jill when she threw a fit about sitting in the second row at the fashion show in season 1. I know the ladies become more well known since the show started airing but was she actually a somebody before that? Seeing her act like that then, it honestly didn't surprise me that she became jealous of Betheny's success on the show. Jill thought she would be the breakout star. Bobby always seemed sweet and so did Ally.
  2. I can totally see what you guys love about Scary Island. That was truly a sight to behold. I kept thinking "this aired on tv and Kelly came back for another season?!" She really was nutty. While the HW trips are always filled with drama, I don't think any others can top the craziness of this one. Maybe Leeanne on RHOD saying she may kill herself that night when they were in Mexico. I do think Kelly was slightly better in season 4 but not by much. I hate being told how I feel so when she kept telling Alex in Morocco "you're not mad, you're sad", I would have clocked her.
  3. Sonja seemed way more normal and put together when she first appeared. I just finished the season 6 reunion and wow, she is truly delusional. She constantly talks but never answers any questions. She can't answer what's happening with her toaster oven. And she also has a french clothing line and diamonds?? What? Why would she have a photo shoot for a toaster oven cookbook that doesn't exist? Also, where the heck does she get all those interns and why would anyone want to be an intern for her? There must be other internships in NYC they can do for college credits. I have a hard time believing anything she says. I cracked up when she said at the reunion "Puff Daddy parties on my yacht" and Heather and Lu respond "You don't have a yacht."
  4. Ramona. Where do I start? It was very interesting watching her go on and on about her successful, happy marriage knowing what's coming. She has talked about her childhood and she seemed to come from humble beginnings so I didn't like that she acted like a snob all the time. Sending Lu an email saying saying the staff needs to help her unpack as soon as she gets to Morocco and complaining about Heather's house in the Berkshires. She didn't complain too much when they were in St Barts, probably because they were in a beautiful house with a staff and a lot of wine. She also complained a lot in Montana. During the season 6 reunion when they showed the little husbands clip package, she sat on the couch with that creepy frozen smile and when Andy asked her about the Mario stuff, she said in this weird, pod person like voice "My family is very happy, please move on." Andy kept pressing and she kept saying "move on to someone else". That was the first time she really creeped me out. The smile and her odd voice. I think that was Ramona's version of trying to be calm and breezy and it wasn't working. She looked and sounded like a pod person. Then she kept saying "next package, next package" and Andy flat out said no. She then tried turning it on Andy asking "let's talk about who you are having sex with tonight?" and he turned it right back around and said "when I got on a reality show with who I am having sex with, I'll talk about it." I also loved Lu saying Karma's a bitch. I think I have only liked Ramona once and that was during season 4 (I think). She was having an argument with Kelly which was going in circles (because Kelly) and Ramona just said "I can't talk to you, you have no brain, goodbye" and she walked away.
  5. I really like Heather. She's funny and direct and just seems like someone fun to hang out with. She could have been a huge bitch about Ramona complaining about her home and ordering air conditioning but she seemed to take it in stride and picks her battles. I like that she doesn't back down and I loved her going toe to toe with Aviva's annoying friend in the Hampton's. One thing I noticed about these ladies is that they have their fights and issues but seem to move on really quick. Ramona asking "is that the poolhouse" and wondering if someone is going to help her with her bags, then ordering air conditioning, then throwing a glass at Kristen, then having a meltown in the woods, then escaping via plane would be a season long discussion on RHOBH, it would be brought up and discussed constantly and the ladies would never let it go. It was barely a blip on NY and I like that.
  6. Aviva was nutty and I had to laugh at the whole "I have asthma" and then of course bringing her X-rays to that final, leg throwing dinner. Her father made me very uncomfortable. I was sexually harassed by an old man just like him and did not like watching him at all. The whole story about him having a threesome with his fiancee and Miss USA was ick. I'm actually glad Ramona went up to her to get the real story at that lunch. I'm surprised that was never brought up at the reunion since Lu seemed convinced Miss USA was invited by Aviva. Her whole meltdown after arriving in St Barts was something. "You should be on your knees thanking Reid, I was expecting a party, I really would have liked a banner." I also noticed that they took her out of the beginning credits during the Montana trip. Stay shady Bravo.
  7. Kristen saying Ramona and Sonja are crazy, drunk aunts is the perfect description for them. At the season 6 reunion they took offense to it and said they aren't drunk. Have they not watched the St Barts footage? They were hot messes. Especially that last night. There was a dinner at the house and Ramonja were running around like loons. Ramona kept going on and on about needing a key for the drawer so she could get her passport. At one point Carole walked into their room and Sonja couldn't even focus on her. She then tried to sit on a bench right behind her and fell off. I liked when Heather hipchecked Ramona into the pool. Sonja was also wasted when they were in Saratoga during season 6.
  8. I've watched 6 seasons in a couple of weeks so a lot of it is blending together but some funny moments I'm remembering are during the Christmas party when Lu hired that punk rock band who all of the sudden started singing "F you in the ass!" The ladies reactions to that cracked me up. Especially Lu going "No, Christmas music!" I also loved Lu's reaction to Aviva's leg throw. She could not stop laughing.

On to season 7! Beth is back and I get to meet the infamous Dorinda.

I am moving, but think I will rewatch some seasons once I get the TV and Hulu figured out. Seasons 5-8 are almost perfect for me, and the show is as hilarious as a sitcom. There’s a lot of fun, lighthearted stuff in there:

-The jeans decorating party where Dorinda glued someone’s coasters on her jeans

-Carole running for her co-op board with Heather, Jonathan, and Ramona as her advisors

-Ramona being giddy to find out that Carole is a princess only because it is going to upset LuAnn

-The St Barts trip

-Carole and Jules hiding in the closet at Bluestone Manor

-Sonja’s funeral for her dog

-Even the rants (Dorinda’s Clip in the bronx, Bethenny’s “YOU FUCK EVERYONE!” at Bluestone), are funnier than upsetting, IMO

To be fair, Alex & Simon's kids were little hellions who behaved atrociously while their parents did little/nothing to correct them.

My favorite moment involving Alex's kids was when one of the boys stabbed Jason I's hamburger during a group restaurant outing (Jason I - Bethenny's first season boyfriend, not Jason Hoppy). The kid seemed a little too gleeful to be stabbing it and Alex/Simon just laughed it off.

It was just really gross.  Aviva was clearly ill.

Aviva's illness would be easier to believe if Reid hadn't allegedly told production that if they could guarantee Aviva a spot for the next season, he'd see to it that she got on the plane to Montana. I find it hard to believe that someone so sick would agree to do the show in the first place, knowing from the season prior that there'd be the expectation of travel, attending events, etc. I also remember when a particular episode aired, legit asthmatics pointed out online that Aviva was using her inhaler the wrong way.

Plus, Aviva had shown herself repeatedly to be a liar. She swore up and down that the leg toss was a spontaneous action, but Harry Dubin blabbed and said she'd asked him to be ready to carry her out if things didn't go well.

I swear Jen Gilbert was on another reality show, but briefly, as a difficult client of a...personal shopper? Interior designer? I can't remember.

Currently watching "Bethenny Getting Married".  I've never watched it before.  I'm on episode 4.  I was able to find Seasons 1 and 3 but I'm already sad because I might not be able to find Season 2 (I'm in Canada, we don't have all the streaming services the U.S. does).

Anyone watching this these days?  Anyone have any fun thoughts on the series?

I'm on episode 6 now.  Some interesting things I have noticed.

Jason's mother is really sweet to Bethenny.
I don't know if it's my imagination, but it doesn't seem like Bethenny starts out wanting to make outrageous soundbites, but it gets more and more outlandish by the episode.

I was pretty shocked that the cameras went along on the honeymoon.  B&J have a private room with a private pool in St Barth's, and Jason says "It's our private pool!  Take off all your clothes!"  and Bethenny does but it's like ---- it's not private at all.  Everyone will be watching this.  Everyone!

Has it always been a recipe for disaster for couples to go through this?  Has any couple survived such a reality show?  It really seems like a recipe for disaster to invite a camera crew on your honeymoon.

When B&J were speaking to the wedding officiator, Jason discussed his brother who had passed away, totally composed, and then Bethenny started discussing how her family won't be attending and started bawling.  I thought it was a bit ridiculous.  She has to exaggerate everything.  I feel bad for Jason that she found her pain more worthy of crying over than his.  Then again , she was 7 months pregnant so it's hard to judge.

She actually said to her therapist something like, one day we'd have a card table and nothing else.  Then the next day we'd have 2 Mercedes in the driveway and (??? millions of dollars, I forget?). Gee do you think she is prone to exaggeration? I wonder how the therapist determines what he can possibly believe.

They also filmed Jason COMPLETELY NAKED, back and front, in the shower.  Hahahahahah.  Oh dear.

Now that Beth has given birth, it feels like every few minutes she makes a reference to Jason wanting to have sex with her or. Jason is not allowed to have sex with her for _____ days.  Then she says (TO JASON'S MOTHER) "Jason is counting down the days until he can have sex with me again" which I've seen no evidence of.  She's the one who can't stop talking about it.

You’re in my head! She exaggerated a lot on RHoNYC, but it’s as if, the more they aimed a camera at her, the more it reinforced this fantasy in her head that everyone worships her, everyone hangs on her every word, everyone will accept everything she says as the final word. I thought the first reunion revealed so much. Andy tells Frankel how the fans love her - - the look on her face, she’s really trying to look modest and surprised.

I understand wanting to do a reality show about your life........ but there's some things that maybe shouldn't be sacrificed for that.  It's sad looking back, wondering if that's why the marriage ended, or maybe when you're a newlywed it's good to focus on the marriage for a bit.  Everyone says that when you first get married is the most stressful time.  Bethenny decided to do EVERY stressful thing at once: have a baby (which really should have been the #1 priority over all once it was happening), a wedding, a reality show, a new book.  Maybe other things too.  She didn't have to cram all of that at once but I wonder if it was all for the good of the cameras.  She could have just done the baby thing and focus on that for a year, then move on.  But... instead she did it all together.

She’s consistent in this respect. Remember when Red Scarf sat down near her, and she asked, “What do you want? A b- - - job?” She goes there. All the time. It’s breathing, for her. Straight guys always want to have sex with her. It’s a fact. And she’s 12, because she thinks talking about sex and reproductive organs is hilarious and/or shocking.

Also, don’t talk to anyone’s mother about her child’s sex life. Just don’t, okay? Why do we need to tell Frankel this?

I agree that Jason’s mother was VERY sweet toward Frankel. She was very warm and excited to welcome her to the family.

Are you watching on Hulu? I should rewatch. I haven’t watched since it first aired.

I want to see if I can figure out where exactly Frankel decided she hated Jason’s mother.

I think all the Bethenny stuff is on Peacock if you have Comcast.

Jason’s parents were the sweetest. I think it was Jason’s dad who saw the metal dress form and refinished it for her as a gift and she didn’t like it/didn’t want it. I thought that was so horribly ungrateful of her. That was during the whole “I don’t love my birthday” meltdown. She could have put it somewhere

My favorite Jason’s mom-ism was at Bryn’s baptism and she was just so proud of her granddaughter and said something to the effect of “she just put that dress on and it was her day.” Omg.

They tried so hard with her and Bethenny just sh*t all over them. If you ask me, that was the beginning of Jason’s resentment towards Bethenny and I don’t blame him one bit. Here were two loving parents who lost a child and they were so happy and excited to welcome a daughter-in-law to their family. Bethenny F*cking Godzilla Frankel burned the house down with her bullsh*t.

Coming here to say the same thing. I’ve been watching on the Peacock online app. I only remembered pieces of it. I think I stopped watching during the original airing because it felt so exhausting to watch. Also I remember feeling uncomfortable watching the way she treated people.

Jason’s parents, especially his Mom were so sweet toward her. Even the people in his hometown and all she kept doing was making inappropriate remarks. I feel like Jodie Foster in The Accused! Um really? And all the talk about “family” with the baby nurse, I wonder if she’s still in their lives.

Anyone else and I might say it all contributed to the demise. Love others. Love herself. To be accepting of love (which the Hoppy’s seemed to want to do)

If she said that, then she stole that line from "Wedding Crashers" (2005).  Vince Vaughn says it.

I remember that but the way and where she said it was so disrespectful. You’re in a small town bar where everyone is being nice to you and that’s your response? Ugh.
I know it’s all a Bethenny has to constantly be funny act but she’s mean.

I'm on Season 2 now, of Bethenny Ever After.

Guys, Bryn is suuuuuuuuuuch a cute baby.

I'm really seeing the conflicts between Bethenny and Jason already. It's pretty sad.  Bethenny was such a snob going to Jason's hometown and now I understand all the posts here.  She could not move past the fact that he's a small town kid -- who cares?!?!?!?   MOVE PAST IT.  She kept putting a button on it, over and over again.  His friends were so nice to her that they made her cry - AFTER she made "The Accused" crack.  Now I see how harsh that was.

all she kept doing was making inappropriate remarks. I feel like Jodie Foster in The Accused! Um really?

So she was comparing herself to a woman who was gang raped in a bar? She's a psycho. Imagine how Jason's hometown people felt like after hearing that? His family?

I realize that some fans think she's funny, but this type of joke is not funny and actually quite sickening.

Isn’t she so precious?
Yeah and even if she was dropping the Wedding Crashers line, it seemed so low to even make that crack considering how truly kind and welcoming everyone was to her. But it goes back to the lack of vulnerability thing. She’d rather be the bitch than accept the love offered to her.

It had to be uncomfortable. And half of the stuff she spouted would’ve had her dragged on social media in today’s climate.

Calling that guy Nick creepy and making fun of him was uncomfortable.

I'm one of those people who kind of loves all babies, but Bryn is so freaking CUTE.  Sometimes she stares directly into the camera and just smiles and gurgles.  When people play with her, like Gina (Baby Nurse) and Sean (?) Party Planner, Bryn smiles widely at them and just loves it.  Oh my god, she is CUTE.

It certainly was.  She couldn't just say "I love this guy Nick".  It's like she had to cushion it with constantly making fun of him as well.  He's obviously seen the footage.  It's just mean.

I'm really enjoying Season 2 (Bethenny ever After).  More than Season 1.  Or maybe I'm just more used to these people.

It's really sad , because Bethenny and Jason are still so in love, and they break up SO soon after this.

It's interesting to see Jason's manners.  When he comes home and he's so excited to see Bryn, he always makes sure to say a proper hello to Gina and later Dawa (the baby nurses) simultaneously.  It's pretty cool.  He's pretty classy in that respect.  I love the way he speaks to Gina, crying over her leaving and saying she's part of their family, etc.

@Ms Blue Jay, did you rewatch Bethenny Getting Married? That title always made me itchy.

I have never watched the series before, so it's not a rewatch.  I have now just watched Bethenny Getting Married for the first time, I just finished Bethenny Ever After Season 2, and now I am starting Bethenny Ever After Season 3.

Quoting myself.  Season 2, still year one of the marriage, Bethenny also throws "Skating with the Stars" into the mix.

Season 3, only year 2 of marriage, now Bethenny has sold her company for $120 million and now is buying an entirely new family home AND designing the whole thing from the studs.

She really threw every single thing AND the kitchen sink at this marriage and tried to see if it would survive.  (I know I'm mixing metaphors LOL).  And in the therapist's office, Bethenny is admitting that she and Jason have only known each other for 2 years.  Goodness gracious.

I'm sooooooooooo uncomfortable.  Bethenny brings an entire design team to surprise-confront (I can't think of the right word) Jason to force him into accepting a room being turned into her closet instead of his mancave.  Omg, why didn't she just have this conversation in private?  I really hope that they did and this is just for show.

Now, she's putting on her roller skates to show off to everyone how big her apartment is.  She's literally skating around in it.  Oh my goodness.

Not that I'd know from experience or anything.

I've been smoking weed for over 30 years and currently live in a state where it is legal, thus I have tried just about every strain out there, however not one of them has smelled like pee.

I am on the second to last episode of Season 2. It is really sad that the relationship deteriorated so, so much.

They both were working on figuring out how to compromise. However, they were fundamentally so very different.

Jason was so genuinely excited for Bethenny selling Skinny Girl Cocktails. He didn’t take any credit, but I don’t think it would have happened without Jason working on the details and dealing with others (granted someone else could have done that, but that was not Bethenny’s wheelhouse).

IMHO, it would be difficult for most people to have an emotionally intimate give-take relationship with Bethenny, it would be exhausting.

Bryn was the cutest baby.

I can't believe how much Bryn speaks, all through Season 3.  Has any baby talked that much?????

Imagine Jason's life.  Bethenny just designed an apartment from the studs in New York City, and then tells her family they're all moving to LA for a talk show.  LOL.  I can't imagine.

I have never been more convinced that I am Type B.  What is Bethenny?  What is more than Type A?  Type 000?  Type !?  LOL

Ok - wow.  Just finished the series!  Didn't realize I was there already.  It's kind of refreshing to see that Bethenny's style wasn't that great 10 years ago.  Sounds petty of me I know.  By the time she gets that apartment alone in NYC in Season 7 or whatever her style is just amazing.  But that apartment she designed in 2011 or 2012?   Not as great.  Still great!  Just not as great.  Styles go out of style so damn fast.

Aviva was awful - and there's zero chance the leg toss wasn't planned - you don't take off a prosthetic leg in one move!

I felt that if she told her full story - how her accident required many surgeries over several years and she initially only lost her foot (I think they removed the leg to the knee when she was late teens-early 20s?) - it would have explained any real or imagined phobias. But then she showed herself to be a terrible snob and I stopped caring.

This was when I stopped wanting to watch Bethenny on my TV. Jason's parents lived in an area not far outside Philly/NYC and Bethenny had to make a point that she was too cool for all of it. Jason's family lost a child, yet Bethenny (with boarding schools and travel and connections that don't really follow her narrative of 'raised by wolves') is the Only One with trauma. She blamed Bravo for her decision to marry Jason and then she blamed his mom for being some sort of evil-genius notary. Her narrative fits nothing that was shown on TV.

She claimed she was partly influenced to get married because Bravo offered her a show, but that she knew both the marriage & airing it were mistakes. Bethenny has also said that she married her first husband because even though she thought they were just good friends but he loved her so much that she caved.

I mean, Bethenny knows what's in her head better than me and she has people asking her to explain her divorces. But she's always presented herself as very honest and tough so it makes it difficult to believe she was lured into both unions for not so substantial reasons.

I don't think she's necessarily "honest" .  I know that's how she wants to present herself but it's more like being blunt and saying outrageous things to get a reaction.  That's not necessarily honesty.  She says things that are pretty mean because she knows it might get her a laugh or shock value.  But they're often wild exaggeration.

I read some articles about this, thanks for informing me.

Watching episodes 101 and 102 of RHONY.

Episode 1:

Jill:  Ramona and I are NOT friends.
Jill:  Ramona and I are not close.
Jill:  Ramona and I are "tennis friends".

Episode 2:

Jill:  Ramona didn't invite me to her (small) dinner party.  I am extremely upset.  I am hurt.  And I am going to get my revenge.

This is all verbatim.

And now she and Bobby are inspecting their daughter's body and stomach upon coming back from Fat Camp.

God I don't like this woman.

I'm rewatching too. I just finished Season 1.  I agree about Seasons 5-8.

It's interesting to me to learn which of the women are still friends - or at least talk. The list isn't long - at least what I know thus far:

Luann = Kelly, Cindy Barshop

Ramona = Carole, Alex (emails anyway)

Dorinda = Heather, Bethenny, Carole

Bethenny = Dorinda

Dorinda’s Instagram is a real hodgepodge of random choices.

There’s the bear, who has been a “Friend of” for over a month.

Home security alarm shilling.

Photo of her parents against... I dunno. A Chanel blanket... throw rug...Pinterest craft project...?

She did buy a cool Loch-Ness-monster-kind-of dining room table Halloween centerpiece in order to ingratiate.

Frankel is grasping with reminders that she wants to sell her landfill. Brilliant Martha Stewart level advice, such as, “Use your carrot peeler to slice butter.”
