Wide leg jeans are at Old Navy, and they actually close around my waist and have butt room! I also am seeing lug sole loafers with chain and buckle decorations, kind of like what Ben Franklin wore.

70’s are having a moment. My almost-20 year old daughter is rocking the 70’s look right now. Then again, she could rock a burlap sack (totally unbiased mom opinion there)…

I didn’t have a problem with Ashley until I saw the tattooed wings on her back. And I’m wondering what it takes to refer to yourself as a poet. Just in case I need something to write down on an application for a loan.

I wrote some poems in college... does that count?

so we have that Sophie :

granddad is rich.

she went to private schools

yet she moved to London at 16.

At some point lived in Mexico.

Mum is her bff.

There are alot of lies mixed in with the truth.

I have wealthyish friends who let their trashy kid do whatever she wants. Drop out. Move to another state or overseas. Wreck cars. "we can't do anything with her".

Mum went with her to keep an eye on things. Sophie's a regular Pia Zadora!

Girl!  You need to go!

Although they make it confusing because they’re like you only need a pap every so many years now so I was like great!  Then I got calls and they were like you need to come in every year.  So I said what gives if you’re still doing the exam every year, you might as well submit the test…

I was like 8 years overdue when I went this summer, at 68. But the doctor said you don’t need Paps after 55. I had one … ouch! But okay.

Hey, everyone. Last Sunday my girlfriend took a tumble off the riding lawnmower and ended up breaking two bones in her right wrist, fracturing her right elbow and sustaining a mild concussion. The impact with the ground also caused a small brain bleed. She's all right now, but she'll wear a cast on her right arm for six weeks and she's right-handed. She's also off work until the middle of November (she works for a company that supplies rides for patients to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Richmond.) The pain is subsiding from her injuries now and boredom is setting in.

Anyway, I'm here and ready to snark.

Oh no! Hope she recovers quickly.

I will be looking forward to this although I feel like once you hit peri, you’re on your own…I don’t think it should be this way.

I never wear jeans anymore. I donated all mine when I retired, and live in leggings and dresses. Its wonderful.
