Who's going to break it to me! What the hell? My heart just skipped a beat haha.  I was thinking wow that's how they did her last day. I found Meghan's deflections and purposeful misunderstanding of COVID really offensive today, worse than usual. If The View wants to be taken seriously as a news show, then they need to have Sunny or whoever else give a legal note after Meghan speaks, because she's just spreading misinformation and contributing to the spread of a deadly pandemic at this point.

Meghan blamed everyone and everything except unvaccinated people for the virus continuing to spread and mask mandates happening again.  She blamed Biden. She blamed Democrats.  But she did not blame her fellow Republicans for continuing to stoke anti vaccine fires.  And she of course did not blame people for refusing to get the vaccine because freedom.

She can shut the fuck up about Biden not reaching out to Trump about anything.   First of all Trump thinks Biden is sitting in his seat.  And second Trump wants Biden to fail.   No way in hell would he do anything to help.

Meghan, on Twitter is complaining  about " the media" being irresponsible in saying that vaccinated people can spread the delta variant, and "the media" is implying that getting vaccinated is useless.

Does she realize that she is on tv spreading information, and therefore a member of THE MEDIA?

The COVID-19 and Fauci stuff with McCain is just a never-ending loop of ever-increasing rage on her part. I think ever since she started to receive massive blowback earlier this year when she would attempt smears on Fauci, including implied visits from ABC about her misinformation behind the scenes, it's like she comes out the next day more enraged because people raked her over the coals and says the same things as before except on steroids to prove she "won't be silenced!!" It's the usual thing with her, thinking she's a victim because people are "attacking" her for "being a Republican!" No, you've just been getting fairly criticized for choosing to be a liar.

It's a good thing she never could get over that victim mentality in regards to this subject though, it probably helped her to finally get fired, thank God!

Sara's books seemed nice, but it'll be a few years before Sara joins the land of adults with books adults can read.

The P town super spreader event highlighted why vaccines work.  Almost all were vaxxed, and almost all had mild cases.  I think zero covid will never be a thing..which is what I think Meghan was trying to say..but failed to say..as usual.

I liked Joy's book selections.  Anne Tyler has written some good books..a few even adapted successfully to movie and TV.

No reputable media outlet has implied getting vaccinated is useless.  It is Meghan who continues to spread that disinformation.  Or let's just call it what it is.  A fear stoking lie.   I cannot wait till she is off my show.  I don't care if she ends up on some other other show.  Unless it's football I won't see her.

I can't tell how specific your comment was, but I don't want you to be blindsided on Monday, so I'll just note Meghan McCain has one more week on the show. Her last scheduled airdate is August 6, 2021.

Same here, I love Anne Tyler.  She's one of my two favorite living writers (Anne Patchett is the other one.)  I read Searching for Caleb and The Magician's Apprentice in March and April 2020, at the beginning of lockdown.  Those books were a balm on my spirit in crazy times.

She does this for politicians, too.  She calls every politician on the show (except republicans) 'The AMAZING...' 

Again, she's very easily amazed for a woman in her mid-60s who's had a number of life experiences thus far.

I was very disappointed in them - those two books have been around for years. I'm sure she could've recommended some newer books for the audience - either from the beginning of 2021, or  from the summer book releases which started this past May ?  Same with Whoopi - why choose some of the old books ?  So many worthy books have been released the past few months which she could've chosen.

Yes! I've always applauded how much Sunny cherishes her family. I love that she looks after her elderly loved ones, and that she instilled great values in her kids. A lot of Hollywood types become really superficial. She can be serious and knows all the problems in the world, but this is a happy woman who still appreciates all she has and enjoys it. Compare her attitude of gratitude compared to Meghan, who's had it much easier than Sunny. 

Honestly, even if I don't agree with her 100% of the time, Sunny is one of my favorite people in the media. She's just a class act imo. There aren't a ton of people like her on TV. I really hope she's getting paid fairly. 

I thought of that episode as I was writing out my post too! I don't think she meant to throw her friend under the bus either, and I agree that she has a huge heart and means well. Her loving family and many friends from all walks of life did not happen by accident. 

I don't even remember what she was disagreeing with Don about. Anyone?

One last thing about Meghan and masks. I honestly think it's a vanity issue...lord knows she's not the only one during all this to place looks above the health of others.
