Well this is interesting, I just found out that a cousin of mine had attended Burning Man twice about 7 years ago...he assured me he did not wear chaps without pants or a fur vest, just jeans and t shirts, said it was amazing and expensive.  He did not have time to give me much detail but he did mention it was sensory overload.

Leah should have chosen a different theme until they could party with more people, 5 HW's does not a Burning Man party make.

Is anal bleaching still ok?

You find all types at BM, everything you listed and more.

I would love to believe this.

The one clear absolute failing of this season is that there are only 5 main cast members. IMO the best season ever was S9, with 7 HWs.  We need at least one more.  I'm hoping Heather brings something to the show, especially if she challenges Leah.  Leah's whole "ooh, I can't trust her because she talked about Luann doing coke on her podcast 7+ years after the fact" is total bullshit.  As said above, anyone who watched that season knew there were substances floating around.  Shit, Ramona openly--and often quoted by all--advised Aviva to take some Xanax.  Zero substance-related secrets were revealed.  And if Leah is, in fact, sober, she should not have a problem. LOL.

Leah clutching her pearls about Heather mentioning "hard drugs" was so silly.  How many times did she mention drugs just this episode?  MDMA anyone? And of course we all knew the Pirate was quite the popular ride among the housewives.

Way back in the day when I was working, I HATED when my boss or clients would refer to me or their asistants (we were called executive secretaries back then) as "my girl" or "your girl".  It was condescending and rude.

My boss always called me his girl.  In those days you said nothing.  They especially loved when us girls turned red after a sexual remark, which was like everyday, especially after they went to lunch with clients and came back plastered.  Their poor wives should know what dirtbags they were.

I have to say Ramona looks amazing for 60!  So does LuAnne.

What was Leah thinking with that pink bow? I can’t even remember what they were talking about bc I was so fixated on that hideous thing.

Why does the Eboni have to make it into a race thing. Just hang out with everyone and have fun.  I actually really like her.

I can tell that Ramona is just nasty to anyone that she thinks is below her and barely gives the minimum 15% tip.

Ramona came from nothing and should not act that way.  Being a N.Y. Housewife and especially living in Southampton went to her head.  There are people who are more accomplished than her.  I love her, but sometimes she talks out of her ass.   I agree with you about Ebony.  I always liked Ebony on the news.  On this show with Leah, not so much.  I think Ebony is too classy to hang out with Leah.

I can’t imagine what she was thinking with the bow.  Does she think she’s a trendsetter?

During the Mexico trip when Ramona couldn’t unpack her own bag, needed Earl Grey tea brought to the room every afternoon and an ice bucket filled with Pino, she said she tipped the man well.  I always wondered how much that was?

I've always thought of it as an ultimate getaway for people who want to depart their daily life and exist as an unencumbered alter ego for a week. Leah seems to be into the cosplay thing.

I don't know much about it except for the costumes and the mutant vehicles, but there definitely appears to be a pecking order. There are a lot of celebrities and VIP tents. "Burning Man Celebrities" is a worthwhile google.

I'm not really sure what the point of Burning Man actually is. I mean I think that its supposed to be about art in an all encompassing way. But it sounds to me like it's no different than any other week-long event where those with financial resources reign supreme.

Leah strikes me as the type who would be pretty elitist about her participation.

She said “the help” not my help and her tone was grossly condescending .  It’s not that hard to keep up in terms of language usage for the 21st century.  A woman who comes in to clean your house is not called your “maid”, The landscaping crew are not servants and you don’t call a person “the help”.

I agree totally with this, but I still can't fault her for not remembering names of temporary catering help/workers who are also wearing masks.  I'm horrible with names of people I meet in passing at gatherings. That's what name tags are for!

To me Leah is the definition of the word “cheugy.” The delusional kind. I am her age and she is totally an aging, edgy “cool girl” being supplanted by a younger generation of young “cool girls,” so she’s getting increasingly more ridiculous (that bow). Gen Z is laughing hysterically at her try-hard-ness, led by her poor daughter.

Was watching the never before scenes. This may have actually been on last week’s episode, but the title of Lexi, the party coordinator was “Burning Man Specialist”

Also thought it was funny in the regular episode they titled the poor innocent “help comment woman” as “Michelle (not Diana)”

or whatever Ramona called her. And not sure her real name was actually Michelle but you get the gist 😆

The party was funded and "produced" by BRAVO. Since the women couldn't go on any trips - couldn't eat at restaurants - couldn't visit shops - what else are they going to do in terms of attempting to present some kind of aspirational life style.

That seemed like an incredible amount of food at lunch for five women so I suspect that it might have also fed cast and crew.

I thought it was less cringe worthy than Atlanta and New Jersey which had gatherings with outsiders with no or ineffectual protective gear. I thought WTF is going on when everyone I knew was avoiding social contact on that scale during the period when the shows were being filmed.

Seriously though, I'm glad to see the ladies cutting back on the booze.

Unfortunately, Ramona, Leah, and Sonja are boring without the booze. I'd rather have falling-down-drunk Leah and Sonja than sober Leah and Sonja's one-trick-pony wailing about "THE MORGANS ARE MY FAAAAAAMILY!!!" For fuck's sake, Sonja. You've been out of the Morgan's line of vision longer than you were in it - let it GO.
