If she weighs enough and is willing to go through the counseling and process, her health insurance.

If she's not, she's going to get sketchy surgery in Tijuana. (There are good clinics in Mexico, but you get what you pay for.)

They make decent $$$’s from the show.

Oh my god, how is Angela going to pay for weight loss surgery and all the following plastic surgery?  I wonder if this will be a TLC spinoff and they are paying the bill.  Didn’t mama June do that on a WE program?  I hoped we were rid of Angela and Michael.  If just gone on too long.  You guys have been on fire tonight.

Maybe Angela will be the next series after the Slatton Sisters (or whoever they are, the 1,000 pound sisters show) with Dr. Proctor?     Kalani, send man baby to his mother before you all get Covid and die, and that jerk survives.   Better Man baby takes his germs home to Mama A.

I thought Angela was a CNA or something at the hospice?

My friend's husband had the radical gastric bypass surgery, and if his abdominal skin (apron is what he called it) ever covered his manly bits or lower, the health insurance would cover the skin removal.  But they wouldn't do bat wings, or a tummy tuck, or anything else except something like a lymphedema removal.    They don't pay for cosmetic, except in very few cases.

I have considered WLS. Getting it done on insurance is very possible, but it's a big process under most programs (you need to go through supervised weight loss first, counseling, etc). I don't see Grangela willing to submit to that.

Parts of the skin surgery are covered by insurance, like pannulectomy (removal of the stomach flap). It's a health hazard. The exact line for "cosmetic" vs "medically necessary" depends, though.

I didn't know that was covered, thanks for sharing.

Yep. If she has any health problems that can be tied to her weight (type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc) and she goes through the counseling process there's no reason why it shouldn't be. Even my crappy policy will cover 60% of it.

She works full-time as a hospice nurse. She probably has good insurance. My mom's gastric bypass was fully covered.

She's a nurse? Seriously? I thought she was a CNA. She doesn't seem very well educated--don't most nurses have a four year degree these days? I can't picture her getting through the basic science classes.

She’s going to Mexico if tlc aren’t funding this. They wave all requirements

NOW I get it.  Larissa is out and Jess is in.  The new season will focus on Jess and her wannbe actor husband.

This whole show is bullshit.  Larissa probably told her children that she was going off to America to be a "star."  She'll make it in porn for about two months before the novelty wears off; but she might have a future in the niche market.  But she'll probably get addicted to the money and end up giving bj's to old men on the Vegas strip.

So now, Jess is the new Larissa and Angela will be on "Botched."

Crap! I may be getting her confused with Lisa. Awful older women running after nice young African men are starting to run together.

I think I am the only one that likes the strikes back show. I find it hysterical to watch them explain themselves and defend their behavior against tweets from people that are probably 3 drinks in, let's be honest.

I enjoyed it with the last lot, but this crew? I hate them all!
