Chatty Cake January 16, 2023 Share January 16, 2023 I didn’t think there would be much worse than Diane cheesing all over Jeremy and plotting at the Ronald McDonald Clubhouse until Phyllis walked in to spy on her. Poor Adam has to see them at every turn how has Phyllis not? 12 9 2 1 Link to comment
Julyolo January 16, 2023 Share January 16, 2023 Putting in some effort today, praying the show will too. What did Adam have left to reflect on after his chat with "Big Daddy?" How someone allegedly raised in an American orphanage in Buffalo (Go Bills!) ends up speaking with a thick European accent, and ends up looking like a "Mustache Pete" from a 1960's "B" gangster movie? That's right, Summer! Your father-in- law ripping off the necklace you thought you would inherit from your stripping grandma. Some viewers might see this as karmic retribution, or the "just desserts" not featured on the menu at Society. So, Summer, if you do ever make it to Paris, be sure to get some retail therapy revenge by stopping in and shopping at Boucheron, or Cartier. I see Danny is love-bombing Lily, right into his sociopath's playbook. Finally, Devon moralizing and sermonizing to Tucker, not from his high horse, but from the level of looking up from his rocking horse. Maybe Tucker should have tried that old fall back, fail proof excuse that Devon and Abby dumped on Chance, "It just happened....don't know how...I never planned to hurt you." 7 1 3 3 1 Link to comment

Waldo13 January 16, 2023 Share January 16, 2023 Now I’m quite sure Stark is setting Diane up since he now wants to go to Chicago with Diane. But I really don’t understand why the monkeys with a keyboard board are making this who plan over convoluting unless the plan is to get Stark caught with stolen goods. Is Kyle defending Victor wanting to get Adam out of Jabot? Summer actually grew one brain cell when she told Kyle She doesn’t think that a family could be brought together through deceit and manipulation if she was talking about the Newmans but not If she was referring to Diane. In any case, her mother is the master of deceit and manipulation but Summer, when push comes to shove, turns a blind eye when it comes to her mother. Bravo Adam bravo for telling Victor that the slings and arrows of outrages fortune comes from him. How many times has Adam kissed Victor’s ring only to be punched in the face by it. If Adam ever did to Connor what Victor has done to him, than Connor has all the right in the world to turn his back on his father. Adam, all in all, is not a heartless bastard. 7 3 1 4 Link to comment
Joimiaroxeu January 16, 2023 Share January 16, 2023 (edited) Ehhh, Adam, don't poke the bear. If Victor is up to something nefarious do you really expect him to tell you upfront? Kyle is so gullible. Say he does help get Adam fired at Jabot and the negative publicity destroys all of Adam's other employment prospects. Adam is independently wealthy. He doesn't have to go crawling back to daddy for a job at NE. Abby's hair wasn't looking great IMO. Kind of washed out and limp. Maybe the next time she gets it did she should have them dye it a different color. That way she won't be a blonde towering over wee tiny Devon, she'll just be a brunette or a redhead. 🤨 Man, Chelsea has no shame. She knows the breakup wound is fresh for Lily but there she was grinning in Lily's face while Billy was standing next to her. Billy could've steered Chelsea away as soon as he saw Lily but apparently he got jealous of Daniel. Yikes, the messiness. Kyle told Summer there were ten million reasons for Jack not to have hired Adam at Jabot. Did that number have some significance? I can't imagine it's Adam's salary as co-CEO. Hmmm. FFS, Victor. Could you be less self-aware? (Yes. The answer is always yes.) I don't know how Adam managed not to laugh in your face at your circular logic. "Family should not hurt each other! I only hurt you because you're my family!" 🙄 Meh, are you willing to do business with any of your siblings, Abby? You of all people should know that's hardly a guarantee of success. There's a side to Lily's personality you aren't aware of and it's what Devon probably needs to back away from if he wants to protect Neil's legacy. Summer, again, shut up. Your decrepit gwampa is likely more dangerous than Stark. Perhaps you should go whine to him instead getting hysterical every time you see Diane. Meanwhile, Free Tara! Jack the cat burglar. I can't. How much do I wish Diane would abscond with Nikki's necklace and leave him and Kyle looking like idiots for trusting her? THIS MUCH. It's a scary day when Summer is the voice of reason. Diane got Jack to commit a major felony against the Newmans and several people know about it. This could easily go sideways for him and Kyle, especially if Summer gets her panties in a twist. Daniel has an oddly confident but bad read on things. Chelsea wasn't acting nervous as she stood between Lily and Billy. Looked to me like she was relishing every minute of it and I think Lily noticed. I'm completely over the Tucker verbal flogging tour of GC. Is TSJ getting paid by the scene? Poop or get off the potty, MWTs. Quote The Plan B pill is for the morning after unprotected sex, it doesn't work if you're already pregnant. Mifepristone. I don't think it's available over-the-counter though, and I'm 99.999% confident CBS/TPTB won't go there with Sally because of the controversy. Billy is a gambling addict. He's a man of many talents. lol The original Billy (Miller) was a regular at the noname bar that Catherine's sad-faced granddaughter (can't remember her name) owned. His being shitfaced drunk on St. Paddy's day is what brought he and Victoria together. He was also partying down when he met Chelz and got knocked up. Then there was that bar he won in a card game and promptly lost due to his inability to keep a clear head. He has a list of addictions, and drinking is definitely on the list. Jack had the sexual addiction story which was a fake out because he was really writing a diary/expose on Victor and shacking up at a motel to do it. The original Jack was somewhat of a wastrel and drank to excess, but later Jack became a pill addict (on this show that means you took more than one opioid) and also drank so he went thru rehab, I think, with Phylthy at the cabin. They made a big deal about his not drinking but still leave the bar set up in the home. Just like they do with Drinkki at the ranch. 13 2 Link to comment

I will say that his all black ensemble reminded me of Lee Meriweather as Cat Woman more than I was comfortable with. As stupid as this whole plan is, they made it even stupider by having Jack whip the necklace out the minute he ran back into the Abbott living room on little cat feet, right in front of Dummer. If they didn't want her to know, then why did they DO IT ALL RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. I'm yelling because I can't believe Show had Jack acting stupider than his daughter-in-law. But, then again, he's the one who keeps calling her the "best and the brightest". Jack needs to get better lighting. Julyolo January 17, 2023 Share January 17, 2023 I can't figure out if the actress playing Phyllis today was sick and drank too much cough syrup, was straight out high, or if she was hung over. IMO, she was quite hoarse and glassy-eyed during filming the scenes with Tucker. The character of Danny couldn't convince me to buy a can of Spaghettios, and I really like them. I laughed out loud when Summer told Danny, "Sometimes we just have to remind ourselves our mother is an adult." Killed two birds with one stone there, MWT's, reminding the audience too! This LOA for Chance had better not be a pretext for removing him from the show, the last hot man left in GC. Is it just me, or are the people and places on this show just starting to disappear, are the cast and crew leaving quietly, one by one, for greener pastures? I'm developing a lurking suspicion the show's last episode ever will be Grampire sitting in bedraggled clothes, with worn out shoes, on a bench, before a medical attendant comes up to him and says, "Ok, Victor, let's get you on the bus, and get you back to the asylum in Buffalo." Like this whole show has just been the hallucination of a madman. Especially this last year. 3 3 14 Link to comment

Maybe being around Chance heats her up. From the inside. Phyllis: Jeremy, just because we don't have proof it was Diane who turned you into the feds, that doesn't mean it isn't so. The World: Red, just because we don't have proof your cooch is a vestibule for cobwebs, sagebrush, and dust bunnies, that also doesn't mean it isn't so. See how that works? StuporGirl, you sweet summer child. Diane getting caught by you doing the walk of shame in the Abbott living room is the least of her worries. Again, go sit down somewhere and stay out of grown folks' business. OMG, PHYLLIS! You're a criminal too! And you've actually tried to kill people so stop it with yourself fake fear of Stark. Sounds to me like Sharon is trying to talk Chance into moving to a different profession. Hmm. Two's a coincidence but three's a pattern, Sharon? Heh, Daniel's jaw muscles were twitching he was so mad. Poor guy stared at Phyllis ranting about Diane like, "You are a straight up psycho. FML and my new gaming project." Okay, Nikki's necklace tag was engraved. That's one potential plot hole covered. I'm thinking Tucker needs to pull Phyllis out to the alley behind the restaurant and throw her some hate sex. The exertion might calm her down a bit if he put his back into it. 😉 Chance, if you're looking for a new career may I suggest life modeling? It would be a non-porno way of putting your gorgeous self on display au naturel, for everyone to enjoy. Waldo13 January 17, 2023 Share January 17, 2023 What can I say about Copperhead that I haven’t said before. Copperhead is the master of revisionist history. No Copperhead it was you that ruined your relationship with Jack. Diane only trigged your obsession but it was that obsession that did you in. Summer Summer Summer you always try to hold your mother harmless but she is the catalyst for creating Diane’s mess. Yes, Diane and Jack didn’t handle the situation well so they do have to take part of the blame. Daniel reading Copperhead the riot act was a thing of beauty. When he said that she had negative energy, he couldn’t be more truthful but when he said it, it was like Daniel slit her throat. Same old same old, Summer and Kyle arguing in the open about what is going on where anyone could hear them. In cue, Daniel walks in. I was fully expecting Copperhead. There is a big difference between the scenario Copperhead proposed to Tucker and that is Diane is charming and there is no way Copperhead can be charming. And the truth finally reveals itself. Chance is questioning his happiness but he was mostly unhappy about being married to Abby. Chance used his work as an excuse to stay away from Abby’s bitching and complaining. Julyolo, I agree, Copperhead (Phyllis) looked very washed out today. She looked like she was hung over. 6 1 6 Link to comment

I think if Chance finds out this whole robbery scheme was a set-up by the Abbott's, it will be enough to make him leave GC. Praying some exec character from B&B could hire him to run his private security team, hoping my prayers are premature. Stark's m/o was not robbery, but white collar money laundering, right? I side-eye him becoming a "born-again" cat burglar whilst on parole. The image of Jack and Diane when Stark opened the door, so funny, Jack looked like an aging Jimmy Olsen, cub reporter accompanied by a post-menopausal Lois Lane! The guy playing Stark is not too good at acting IMO, the sooner he's gone, the better. Of course being that the SafeT act went thru in Chicago this month, his offense would fall under the "non-detainable" for bail. Also, his federal parole wouldn't necessarily be revoked unless proved guilty of the burglary. Unless the MWT's have ignored reality again, Stark may be lurking in the bushes of GC sooner than we think. Better keep that champagne on ice for now, Auntie Jack Lily asking for Devon's trust again? That ship has sailed, and sunk. Trusting Lily's ideas about the family corporations merger is actually what got all of them on that Zoom call, right? 6 1 4 Link to comment
MsMalin January 18, 2023 Share January 18, 2023 The acting /scene of Diane and Jack barging into Starks room was so bad and stupid that even hate watching wasn't fun today. There was nothing believe able at all. And won't their DNA be all over the necklace, the floor plans and clothing? I will be pissed off if they get away with the set up. 11 1 5 Link to comment
Waldo13 January 18, 2023 Share January 18, 2023 Chelsea had days and days of her PSA and apology tour and now we have days and days of Copperhead bastardizing Diane, ad nauseam, to whoever will listen to her. Devon is 100% correct in trying to separate HW from CW. That’s the only way Devon can keep complete control. Jill is a control freak and Lily, since becoming CEO has become one. In business, being a control freak is usually not beneficial. Stark you were set up, but you are guilty of receiving stolen property which is a violation of your parole. I don’t think for on second that the Stark story is over. The monkeys with a keyboard are not through milking this story for all it’s worth. Is that Summer talking or is it Copperhead. Basically Diane has done nothing to Summer directly. Summer was very young when Diane faked her own death so everything Summer knows about Diane is through the one sided bias opinions of Copperhead. Did Summer ever sit down with Diane and get Diane’s side of the story? 6 4 4 Link to comment

Joimiaroxeu January 19, 2023 Share January 19, 2023 "Crippling disdain." What a kind way to put it, Tucker. Gee, maybe there's medication Phyllis could get for her problem: How would the housekeeper at Nikki and Victor's Chicago apartment not only know the contents of their safe but also be able to identify specifically which piece of jewelry had been stolen? STFU with the continuing "our son" crap, Summer. Harrison has probably been in more danger from his nutbag step-granny than from Diane or Stark. Free Tara! Why would Stark have kept the necklace in his jacket? He should've dropped it into a bottle of body wash or something while he was in the bathroom. Lily, there's nothing else to discuss! Devon has made up his mind and he hasn't changed it in the months you've been on this IPO b.s. All you need to do now is lawyer up, bish. I'm starting to think Lily is jealous because Devon has this thing he created with Neil and she has nothing similar. The merger gave her a sense of ownership over H/W she wouldn't have otherwise had. So is that it for big bad Jeremy Stark? Yawn. At least Ashland got a fatal punch in the face. Countdown to when Devon is coming back hat in hand to Tucker, asking for his help in Devon's battle with Jill and Lily, starting in 3, 2, 1... Speaking of lawyers, Kyle you may want to get a divorce attorney on retainer. Summer is going off the rails and she might try to take custody of your kid. Isn't Nikki's million dollar necklace now in police custody as evidence? It may be a while before it's returned to her. Assuming it doesn't get "lost" or Diane hasn't already switched it out for a fake. Oh darn. 9 3 4 Link to comment

Victor’s crack security team is actually a group of highly trained operatives who were introduced to crack by Marco Anicelli, the Peruvian drug lord Victor found to replace Jack in one of his more heinous schemes. Whether they’re supposed to be protecting the Newman progeny or fabulous wealth, this once proud force can now be found smoking crack on Victor’s dime. 5 hours ago, MsMalin said: The acting /scene of Diane and Jack barging into Starks room was so bad and stupid that even hate watching wasn't fun today The Thomas Clown Affair. 1 2 21 2 Link to comment

I'm hoping that Crippling Disdain is the name of the next new restaurant/club/hotel/embalming college to pop up in Genoa City. It's too perfect to waste on a one-off, especially on Phyllis. I figure that the housekeeper knew all about the jewelry, because she undoubtedly despises Nikki so thoroughly that she usually cleans, dressed up in "Baby's" best to stick it to the stuck up. I know Joimiaroxeu, I thought Stark would at least drop in the toilet tank, or swallow it whole and then make his way to Taco Bell aka Society for a, shall we say, swift retrieval of said precious object. Stark was certainly shocked with Chance showing up, and then by Diane's betrayal. Heads will roll. 1 2 11 Link to comment

I'm still trying to figure out why he hasn't been violated before this. Doesn't he have a parole officer? How is he out of jurisdiction and not gainfully employed? (Accepting bribes is not gainful employment and why didn't the ace detective find the half mil? That might be a little suspicious.) A first year law student could get Stark off. Check to see if there are fingerprints on the blueprints and DNA on the hoodie. Question the validity of a warrant that is 'helping out some buddies in Chicago'. [The Chicago police should have come down and worked with GC cops to make the search.] Can not believe Chance conducted that search alone. Is the budget that bad they couldn't get a uniformed day player? Jeez, get the studio rent-a-cop to stand in. When Chance told Stark to stand away from the door, I thought maybe, just maybe, Stark would bolt and Chance would shoot him. Then we could end this ridiculous story. No such luck. 9 1 4 5 Link to comment
