I know there can often be exceptions and situations where there may be no option but to rehome, but in my book, when you commit to a pet you commit to staying with them until they take their last breath. I mean, this just shows that the girl officially has no soul. I saw an old video of Ariana talking about what a nightmare Graham was to be around and how he had even once bitten her. I have to assume his bad behavior was due to lack of attention, no training, no exercise, or who knows what else. I'm super happy to see that James has him in training and it was stated that he seems to be responding.

The Naughty Hamptons: Summer House In The Media
Vivigirl10 replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Summer House
Sounds to me just like wash, rinse, repeat of last year. Unless the 2 new guys are able to make a big splash. As Paige quipped at the reunion, Lindsay and Carl "don't work", so I'm not surprised at all for them to show up for the paycheck. I know everyone feels various ways about them, but I for one just don't know if I can commit to another season with them included. I also could care less than zero if there's some storyline focus on Lindsay and Danielle repairing their friendship. I root for the show to end just so Lindsay and Carl can stop having money handed to them. But then I look at people like Jax and Brittney and being fired certainly didn't put an end to their million dollar CA lifestyle. And if absolute idiots like those two can make it, I'm positive the more savvy Lindsay and Carl will find a way too. Sam and Kory's relationship seemed to garner pretty positive feedback and I'll even throw Chris in the mix and say that he was generally pretty well received (if boring). I wonder why they aren't full-fledged cast members? Their choice or Bravo's? -
Buying Beverly Hills - General Discussion
Vivigirl10 replied to CountryGirl's topic in Buying Beverly Hills
I am so late to the party on this show. I just checked it out because of the recent Mauricio/Kyle separation drama. I honestly didn't even know it existed before. But BIG applause to the quoted post! Alexia is an absolute perfect example, textbook case of minimal effort, minimal interest. But I feel like this happens with other newbies on other real estate shows as well. The lure of a big paycheck supersedes a love and passion for real estate. If you have a genuine love of real estate, you would have no problem studying a home and passing on the details regarding architectural details, building materials, styles, to a potential buyer. Where is the interest with Alexia? The fact that she doesn't understand that the two go hand in hand is pretty astounding. It's like she truly believed she could just show up, giggle a lot and then collect a massive paycheck. -
She was so snobby and the houses they were looking at were so above and beyond what she came from!! So confusing!! Did I miss the details of the husbands new job? I thought it was something benign like "project coordinator". It must have been a promotion of some sort due to the move and upgrade in house. He just seemed kind of mild mannered and quiet; not a mover and shaker kind of career guy. I liked the Bay Area lady. I get being attached (or just really liking) pieces of furniture you own but when they showed what she had, a bulky, ugly, overstuffed, black leather sofa, I was like.....you're buying a home based on THAT??! All this talk about septic tanks has me wondering if there would ever be one that could accommodate my husband's, shall we say, "capacity"? 😆

I am thoroughly upset and saddened by all of these reports of the behavior in the hospital. I have no understanding of why the hospital is allowing this circus to go on. Do we even know if Kaylee saw a doctor during her pregnancy? These idiots aren't ever going to listen to an "of the world" doctor. They know better and they'll follow Gods plan, not the plan of a doctor. They also know that a woman has no worth beyond her womb so if a baby/birth kills her, so be it. People are wondering why Jill is able to still exert control over her sons-in-laws? Because both of them are spineless wimps who have been told what to do their entire lives. They aren't standing up to anyone. She wouldn't choose anyone different. And also because this cult is built on a foundation of hypocrisy. They don't even follow their own rules. The one I am happy for is Phillip. He's filled out, is looking healthy and is probably more fulfilled in his life than he ever has been before. He's doing something for himself, unsupervised, outside of the home. If only one of the girls would ever be given the same chance. Oh no, I completely understand this and also the unfortunate situations nurses are continually put in. My thinking is actually for the other families that are on the floor and in close proximity, dealing with their own stressful time. Poor Gideon is a sad byproduct of what he's been born into, as is Kaylee. This comes with the territory for them. But if I were a fellow patient dealing with a sick baby, and this large group descended onto the floor, singing, no less, I would have a very hard time with that. You are correct, we don't have specific details. I am merely imagining the potential disruption.

At this point, I'm hoping that Charlie tells Sylvia he's leaving her, taking the kids and she can figure out how to get a damned job, go to work and be productive like the rest of society. What an absolute spoiled brat. Kick her to the curb now, Charlie.

I never watched Season 5 last year but they were showing back to back episodes last night so I caught a few. So very disappointing. So absolutely different from her first season and how she started! A couple bought a 1970's tudor that was in front of his parent's home. When they opened the front door to show it pre-makeover, it was not at all what I was expecting - so beautiful! The foyer and main living room were completely bare and freshly painted. It was obvious that they had already done a ton of updating to get it to that point (it had been a creature infested home in foreclosure when they bought it). Instead of over-cluttering, she didn't fill up the space enough. She chose these puny light fixtures to hang from the soaring ceiling. Everything was this weird "modern" style including primary color, abstract art pieces, which didn't fit the feel of the home at all. She put grass cloth wallpaper in the wainscotting on the stairway and in the foyer, which made it look oddly small and suddenly out of proportion. The couple hadn't made any attempt to decorate their bedroom which lead me to believe they were quite conservative in their style choices. So Tamara proceeds to paint the room this weird electric navy blue and put grasscloth wallpaper on the ceiling! Hideous! Oddly enough, in the next episode, she chose almost the same blue for a formal living room and lacquered it. It wasn't even navy, it was this awful cookie monster blue. Which makes me assume the owner's absolutely must be approving these choices behind the scenes, correct? For their sake, I hope so. She also pulled her kids into an episode. Visiting the oldest at his job at a cabinet shop and bringing the teen son and young daughter to the work site. The teen son was on camera with a scowl on his face and arms crossed across his chest. Come on. If the kid is going to be that sullen, please don't put him on the show, he obviously doesn't want to be there in all his teen angst. I wonder if I caught a marathon if she's gearing up for a new season at the end of the summer?

I just finished episode 2 as well. I completely agree with your post. I'm leaning towards her basically being a kidnap victim along for the ride. We all know of numerous cases where a victim has the opportunity to get away or ask for help and they don't do it. She also didn't know her family was dead. Her flat affect seemed to me to be the byproduct of abuse. The part I was confused about was how wonderfully they spoke about her stepfather and how well her treated her and her Mother. But earlier, they said there were so many domestic disputes at their house that is likely why police just kind of shrugged off the concerns of the grandmother. Which was it? Speaking of the grandmother, I wonder why she didn't come to her aid when she was in jail? I know her sister showed up. I spoiled myself by researching this online and what happens to Caril so I may not continue. The whole story is incredibly sad.

Her and Gabby with the rasp. It's so obviously put upon and not their real voices. Carl needs to lead a quiet life right now far away from t.v. Lindsay is going to eat him alive. I hope whenever that happens (and it will), he's strong enough to handle it. It's obvious he likes to have a bulldog protecting and defending him but it's going to be a big problem when that same dog turns around and bites him (no offense to bulldogs!). You are so right. I like Paige but then she's got this whole other side (sides??) that I don't like at all. Her behavior on the reunion was embarrassing and atrocious. Pull yourself together, girl. Be the bigger person. The NY versus Charleston thing was taken to another level when she showed up on Southern Charm only wearing black (how "New York" and also not what she typically does when, I don't know, living in New York) and acting all dour. Talking about how cheerful everyone was and how the girls all wore cutesy dresses everywhere. It was a fake act and it was annoying. Her label and persona as a "fashionista" are a joke. She dresses uber trendy and most of her clothes look really cheap. Although, she could just be playing to the young crowd that follows her. One of the highlights of the episode. Somewhere out there, Jess is having a seizure. I will say though that Kory and Sam are like one pic away from sliding into uncomfortable territory.....blech...... Is the only way Sam is eating and drinking these days is by having Kory spit it in her mouth? Put your tongue away, girl. It's all not that cute.

The Curious Case Of Natalia Grace
Vivigirl10 replied to SunnyBeBe's topic in Investigation Discovery
I don't like violence in any way but I wanted to reach through the tv screen and pummel Michael's face. Good Lord. One poster commented early on that the initial episodes felt like a parody. They absolutely did. Like an SNL short movie. Even throwing in the nosy neighbor for good measure. Once everything devolved into the Michael show, I could barely continue getting through it. It was even harder to watch knowing this man was absolutely delighted to have the cameras on him, eating up the attention with a spoon. He thinks sooooo highly of himself. Poor Jacob. I really felt for him. I wonder if the evil Stepmom is the one who makes him stay in that horrible unfinished basement? There seemed to be a handful of peripheral characters who really had nothing to do with the case but they were heavily featured. The little woman who wanted to adopt Natalia but couldn't afford the fees - did she ever even meet her? Why was she so involved? Kenna (sp?), her neighbor in Lafayette, did she really interact with her other than Natalia asking her for a sandwich and watching her come and go from the apartment? But she testified in Michael's case? The little couple only met her once and went on their way, yet Kristine was in communication with them? Michael said that their life was so absolutely perfect before Natalia. Then he paints Kristine as this total abuser who withheld sex from him for their entire relationship. Which is it, Michael? The big part about Natalia living alone in her first apartment just broke my heart. She must have been so lonely. She obviously had no life skills. At the same time, I understand the neighbors feeling held hostage by her. But calling her "scary" and "freaky" seemed plain old mean. The neighbor with the husband and the son seemed extra, extra kind, while still trying to maintain boundaries. Natalia's life has been so sad. This is a really heartbreaking story. I can't imagine what she's gone through. Just cast out into the world with no one to protect her. It seems there are mental health issues at play here too.- 388 replies

I'm finding this pretty funny and enjoyable. Sylvia refusing to go back to work and just getting to goof around all day with her bestie is annoying, but probably just part of her arc. Will has anger issues. Also irritating that such an unattractive guy can get much, much younger, good looking ladies to marry and date him. "I thought that was my Uncle" was pretty hilarious so I'm glad they called it out. I had a best guy friend in college. Our adult friendship basically cooled too when he married an awful woman. If I suddenly resurrected that friendship, ran around with my bestie all day while my husband worked, and then crawled into bed at almost 4 in the morning after being out all night with him, let's just say I hardly think my husband would be as supportive and understanding as Charlie is so far appearing to be. And that goes both ways, no way in hell would I tolerate it if the roles were reversed. Really weird and kind of pathetic on both of their parts.
-
Lindsay's finally pulled her head out of her own ass, she's looking around and realizing that no one is defending her or tolerating her bullshit any more. She's being completely called on the carpet and has zero rebuttals. People suddenly aren't afraid of her. It's absolutely wonderful to see.
-
I wish someone would have advised Ariana to remain more calm, cool and collected. That's the best revenge. Not showing any anger or bitterness. I didn't really find the James sideline show entertaining. Way too much interrupting. It's known that Jo has been a part of the friend group since the early days. She's described as Kristen's best friend (I think former?) who just lounges around in the gutter. Low-life. Cray-cray. I don't think any of them were ever friends with her other than Kristen dragging her around. Lisa needs a major fashion overhaul stat. Her hair and wardrobe, her entire "look", are just soooooo tired. Mothballs. She could Momma Bear the group when they were all in their twenties, but now that they're all old themselves, she's just interjecting like an out of touch Grandma. I know she's not a favorite, but I feel for Katie. To have someone defend and put absolutely everyone else over you must be a terrible, terrible feeling. Schwartz is an idiot. Sandoval's not dipping out of this show come hell or high water and I think he will definitely be asked back. Either for some redemption arc or to play the villain. It doesn't matter to him as long as the attention continues. Rachel is really the only one I'm not sure about.

The last 2 episodes made up for a really boring season. I'm just over here waiting for Paige to drop the bomb at the reunion and flat out say that Lindsay and Carl don't have jobs - HA!!!
-
Great post! She DID look great and happy that that IS the best revenge! She is so much better off without him. I wonder if it even took her that long to realize that. Not typically a Scheana fan but how she replied to Tom about the supposed suicide threat was absolutely perfect. You call in all her friends, break up with her, and leave so they can take care of her and she's not alone. I literally had to fast forward during Sandoval's fake crying "breakdown" at Lisa's. To label his crying bad acting is a complete understatement. I don't think I've ever seen anything so unbelievable in my life. His uncontrollable need to call everyone "dude" is mind boggling and makes me want to stab my ears. The close-up of Rachel's eyebrows to show where Scheana "hit" her was laughable. I know eyebrows are a thing right now but those 4 little hairs combed up separately on each brow were ridiculous. I don't need to see Kristin either. She's like the hometown prom queen who never left her small town but now has 5 kids, no man, and sits in the local bar all day in a dimly lit corner smoking. There's just kind of a hanging stink about her.

Farmer Wants A Wife - General Discussion
Vivigirl10 replied to CountryGirl's topic in Farmer Wants A Wife
I actually liked these two together but this poster is right, it may just be simple attraction. She was soooo smitten with him. Ryan - whatever! I was totally let down by Hunter and Meghan's scene and they were the two I was most rooting for. First of all, Meghan looked an utter mess!! Sydney waltzed out there looking like a country angel in her long, white coat and then Meghan rolls up like her alarm clock didn't go off and she ran straight from bed. And she just seemed utterly disinterested in Hunter. While he was so excited about her. I don't know, she just seemed very "whatever" at the end. I know she's laid back but this was beyond. Did anyone else think because of Landon's Dad dying they delayed filming his portion? Mom Ashley's hair had grown by a foot and all that was left were her scraggly blue ends! The girl he chose was so giggly all the time, it was distracting (she was also an Ashley but spelled differently, correct?). I don't think they're a match. -
Social Media: What's Up With Her?
Vivigirl10 replied to ClareWalks's topic in My Big Fat Fabulous Life
I actually found the post right under that one to more offensive. Whit literally states she has never used a filter to alter her face or body. OMG. Is she for real? And in this truly unfiltered video, her horrible acne and melasma are on full display. So where are those things in every other picture? Filtered out, that's where. By the way, sadly, her melasma makes her look like she has a moustache and five o'clock shadow. She could see her derm for some help with both. She probably likes to keep the melasma around because one cause can be from malnutrition. Which supports her utterly ridiculous reports that she doesn't eat. -
The Naughty Hamptons: Summer House In The Media
Vivigirl10 replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Summer House
I would never have even recognized that as Sam. I think Paige looks best, comparatively speaking. Gabby looks nice but it's a really boring look. Chris looks like a total douche and Carl is going to rip his pants they're so tight. -
I don't think anywhere in my post I said other Bravo couples don't do this as well? Completely agree. My point was that once you open the door and make your private business public, you can't then shun the unwelcome comments, opinions, etc. For example, Carl's demand that filming stop.
-
I forgot to address this in my previous post and it's such an excellent point about lights, camera, relationship! It could be argued that Danielle "ruined" the engagement party or that Robert attacked Carl and made him uncomfortable and that all of this took away from their celebration. Boo-hoo and heck to the no. These two famewhores are banking their financial future on this romance and are going to milk it for all it's worth. They could have chosen to not film the proposal or party. Made this what it truly should have been which is a private moment in life. In that situation, they would not have been producer forced to include all these cast members, many of whom they aren't even friends with. They wouldn't have had to include Danielle or Robert in anything. But they chose not to keep it private so therefore, the door is open for whoever wants to rain on their parade. I think there have been many shows where all we're given is a picture/snapshot of the event but it's not filmed or shown. This is just a predictor of what they're hoping will be a future of sharing private life moments in exchange for $$$. Lindsay's probably already practicing what angle the camera should be in between her legs for when she's giving birth and Carlito is passed out in the corner chair. Of epic proportions. Guaranteed.
-
Danielle seeking counsel from Ciara on the phone and calling her "C" like they've been friends for life.....good Lord....cringe. Even my intense dislike of Lindsay doesn't overshadow Danielle's absolutely bizarre response. That being said, like any good High School girl, sorry, 36 year old woman would do, Lindsay dumped Danielle's ass the minute she hooked up with Carl. She stopped having any need or use for her "ride or die" once she secured her boyfriend. If my "best friend" was having a mental breakdown over my engagement and was expressing it to my other friends, I would sit her down for a heart to heart. With kindness, concern and open ears. Lindsay cuts people off waaaaaay too easily. It causes her no pain. I know some will say Danielle has run out of chances and already burned her own bridge. I don't agree. Not if this friendship truly meant anything like they both portray it did. Have that last heart to heart and then they both can move on. I actually like Paige but she's phoning it in and just collecting a paycheck at this point. Kory has revealed he was a geeky, skinny kid who couldn't get girls. Just like nerds who end up rich investment bankers, nerds who end up "hot" meatheads are the most dangerous kind to women! I'm saying that jokingly but hey, that's how players are born! That being said, Kory makes for much better t.v. than almost all of the other new characters they've tried to introduce. I'd vote Kory onto the show.
-
I liked the episode. I thought the house was really pretty and I actually thought that once they drywalled the slanting roofline, it made the fireplace area more cozy. Was the wife really a designer? I thought she had just been helping with some ideas. It made me laugh that her choices were absolutely no different then what "designer" Christina would have picked! The one brother was way too high strung. His voice was like nails on a chalkboard.

Farmer Wants A Wife - General Discussion
Vivigirl10 replied to CountryGirl's topic in Farmer Wants A Wife
Meghan throwing out the big cliff hanger that she wants to live at her Grandmother's place is simply a red herring. The show has to do something to create some kind of suspense about her and Hunter. She's a slam dunk and that's not exciting for a show storyline. Is it confirmed that Meghan is in her early twenties? Sydney is way too young for him at 22. Her Mom wasn't even trying to participate in this charade. I wonder what will happen with Landon. I don't like Ashley blue hair and I thought her family (sister especially) were pretty ruthless and unwelcoming to him. The fact that she not only introduced her young daughter to some fleeting showmance "boyfriend" but also made the shy thing perform on t.v. is pretty mortifying and unforgiveable. I actually like Allen and Khelsi. They're cute together! I don't really care about Ryan. Tall girl is completely in the friend zone and Sarah is just looking to increase her Instagram followers. -
That whole scene made me believe this show is done and there needs to not be another season. That was absolutely the stupidest conversation and everyone banging on the table and hooting and hollering over it was a level of idiocy we rarely see even on this shit show. I don't know why that bugged me so bad, but it did. Mya just ran around interjecting herself in every way she could find this episode. It was annoying. Can we swap her out with Oliver? So Gabby's 29 page PDF "description" of what she's looking for in a man, what she's done, etc. was basically called out by Lindsey to simply be 29 pages of pictures of models? This girl is a caricature, she's not real. I'm actually convinced Gabby is a stand-up comedienne who has created this Summer House character for her stage show and she's hoping to get a sitcom deal out of it. There's nothing relatable or even human about her. It's very strange. Babe....babe....BAAAABBBBEEEE.....goo goo ga ga - now please ride off into the sunset with your beautiful ring and never ever ever let us have to see or hear from you again. Danielle is a psycho.

Those parents were abhorrent. They may be the reason their daughter turned out to be the devil. I also loved how Amy's Mom insisted that her children were taught to remain abstinent until they were married!! Well lady, if you encourage them to get married at 16/17 like yourself, then that shouldn't be too hard! Geesh. Totally agree. They supported it all. On the opposite side, I loved Ricky's parents. They seemed like such good people who tried so hard to make him see the light. I too wonder where the granddaughter ended up. They obviously loved her so much and she would have been the best off with them. I think you're right. He was hanging around a party of High Schoolers and even took Amy to prom. Seems strange for a grown man to want to do either of those things. The actual killer seemed like someone with no self-worth and who was soooo easily manipulated into something to make him feel important in the eyes of others. I'm not sure sitting in jail would erase those feelings. I'm always skeptical of those that trot out the big "I found Jesus so now I'm a perfect human" excuse.
