Writing Wrongs

I just started a re-watch of Seasons 6-10, because I kind of quit during Season 8 or so. I've been enjoying it. I'm not as invested as I was during the original run, so that makes it easier. I agree with what people are saying about the Kandorian storyline. Clark frustrates the hell out of me. Every season he chooses to ignore Jor-El or Chloe or whoever and ends up screwing things up. Yeah, Chloe and Oliver had the foresight to stockpile Kryptonite, because every time you get a whiff of RedK you turn psycho, you ass. He couldn't figure out that the fact that Zod kept harping about wanting powers was a sign of him not caring about peace with humans? Ugh. WTF things like him and Lois so in love all of a sudden and Martha as the Red Queen. Sigh.

This show has such a split personality. I felt so sad for Ingrid and her craziness, but the rest of the episode felt pointless. They take a spell that should've had really bad repercussions and play it as camp. WTF? I'm not watching this for slapstick. All the stuff with Regina and Snow and Snow and Charming would've been great, a lot of truth and hurtfulness came out, but then they brush it off by laughing after the spell is broken. Sigh. Whatever, show. And the "We were under a curse" to justify whenever someone does something seemingly out of character is getting really old. I did laugh at Charming's "Maybe it's Whale's baby" line.

Why do they usually cast women as Peter Pan?

Vancouver must have a small pool of actors. I'm re-watching Smallville starting with Season 6 and I keep seeing people from Once. Midas, Smee and others all looking a lot younger.

I like Kitty more and more. I love that Holmes and Watson act like her parents. Yeah, JLM is playing a Rain Man type Sherlock and it's weird.

Nigella shouldn't even bother participating. Her teams always suck. Ludo is such an ass. I wouldn't want to be on his team.

I was rooting for Kaila. Oh, well.

I hope that Pongo gets a bigger role. We haven't seen him since "Cricket Game", have we?

I loved Oliver's reaction to Wells: "There's something not right about that guy." Great fight between Barry and Oliver.

What is up with Katrina's five-head? I wish Henry and Katrina would go away. Poor Irving.

Why is Regina licking the sword? Ew.

I notice a lot of people saying they haven't seen Frozen and watching them on Once doesn't make them want to. I'm curious. Is there a reason why you refuse to watch it? Is it all the hype? When it came out, I loved it a lot. Now all the hype it gets kind of cooled me on it (ha!). But it is worth at least a watch.

I just finished Season 8 and am starting Season 9. Do they ever mention what happened to Top Gear Dog? That was the most laid back dog I've ever seen.

That character was also in the episode "Plastique" on Smallville. Which I don't remember at all.

Reading the spoiler stuff, I can't believe I totally forgot about Sin.

The mugging scene was funny. I like that Barry enjoys being a superhero without being a dick. Unlike Garfield's Spider-Man. The leeching powers using electricity reminded me of Smallville. Arrow vs. Flash? I'm rooting for Flash.

My heart must be frozen, because I really don't care at all about Emma and Hook's twu luv crap. I just don't get the excitement over Captain Swan. I like them individually, but together? Meh. It's like how by Return of the Jedi, Han was no longer that cool smuggler guy, he was a whipped do-gooder cuddling with Ewoks and following Leia around. Romance on tv shows just annoys me, I guess. LOL

I kept falling asleep and having to rewind it. I think I may have missed some stuff. But the Gorgon was ridiculous and seemed so out of place. I can't decide if I should bother re-watching it.

I might have missed some spoilers, but do we know if the new villains came out of the hat?

On a merchandising note: For some reason the book Once Upon A Time: Behind The Magic is no longer available on Amazon or B&N. I find that odd. I remember seeing a copy on the shelves at B&N, but it is gone now. I wonder what the deal is? Now marketplace sellers are charging a high price for copies.
