  1. I want Danny and Amy to go to prison. To me, not enough redeeming qualities. Even their backgrounds aren’t enough to evoke sympathy.
  2. Loving this series. I grew up in fundamentalist church, but can still watch religious scenes without being triggered too much sometimes. This one was good.
  3. I liked the first half of the series more than the second. The day spent with his parents was good, but other than that…..idk. Not my favorite. Can someone explain to me why Donny sought out a trans woman? He said it was to keep his privacy…..I don’t get it.
  4. This one hurts. Omg….I actually met Dickey years ago. My friend was a taper and friends with Dickey and the band. He got us backstage passes several times. I’m looking for my photos. This was back before cell phones were popular and used as cameras. I had so many awesome times at the The Allman Brother’s band concerts. It’s difficult to describe the energy, the spirit and the quality of music they put out. It’s surreal. This was in the 90s. Great memories though. I wish I could find a video from a concert I attended with him, but can’t locate one! Dang! No phone cameras back then. We always got front row. I’ll keep searching. Here’s one link. Dickey toured with his own band too.
  5. I have a neighbor who has a Tucson and she loves it. At first, she got a Kona, but traded it for the Tucson to get more room.
  6. Anyone watching? I am halfway through. Very interesting to me.
  7. I kid about how nobody messes with me when I’m in the Lincoln! Lol Traffic avoids me. It’s so nice to sort of be so well respected in a large, heavy vehicle. Lol.
  8. I see. I think I will be able to make up my mind once I can sit in them. I am very touch sensitive person. The way things feel impact me a lot. Lol. Really. I know it may sound silly. Then, the test drive will seal the deal. It’s funny that I used to think my dream car was a Lincoln SUV. My family has this thing about Lincolns…long story. But, anyway I actually sat in one and it was not like I imagined. Now, I’m not as impressed with the Lincoln. They are pricy too. My dad still has an old Lincoln sedan. It is a smooth ride.
  9. Did you go over the mileage? I did years ago and then bought the car. I’m wary of a lease for that reason, but they have some great deals on leases right now, for all kinds of vehicles.
  10. I have another one I’m looking for. This is a big song. It was performed at a big award show within the last several years. The singers were male and female I think. It’s R&B i think. About My Brother….maybe Baby brother. It’s inspirational…..helping your brother. Great message and melody. I was thinking Batiste….idk.
  11. Good points! I’m hoping to actually look next week in person. I’ve already received some advice from people at the office of places to avoid.
  12. I’m taking notes. So much to consider with such a large purchase. Today Show had a segment on car purchases this morning.
  13. I appreciate your candid response. I had read about technology lacking in the Crosstrek. I’ll have to factor that in. I hadn’t considered a Ford Escape, but I will now. I’m now wondering….do I want a hybrid? Hmmmm…. Well, now I’m doing the deep dive. Which is good. It’s a lot of money. So, I’m exploring Ford Escape, Mazda CX-5, Crosstrek, Rave 4 and Kia Sportage. Thank you for your help on this.
  14. I had decided on a Kona, but got distracted. I’ll give it another look. My last 3 cars have been red! Lol.
  15. The Corolla Cross looks really nice! I might test drive it. My boyfriend in college had a Corolla station wagon and I drove it a lot. Then I had a Celica in the late 90’s and loved it.
  16. I had decided to keep an open mind on Wallen, after he was given a time-out from Nashville after the racial slur episode. He apologized and seemed genuine. He had also had a thing with SNL, before that in which he engaged in activities prior to his performance on their show, he had agreed to refrain from. (Long story….was during covid) Anyway, it was apparent that drinking too much caused him to lose good judgment. He admitted this. So, after he wss let back into Nashville, I listened to his music and realized the guy is very talented. Great song writer and performer. He quickly became very successful in the country music industry. I thought he had overcome his demons. So, now…..with the chair throwing….I think I’m done with him. He is a hot head with rage issues. It reminds me of bullies who throw objects off of overpass bridges onto cars that maim or kill the occupants. So callous. I predict he’ll be coddled by those around him. Ugh…..
  17. Thanks you guys. I’m reading mainly positive things about Crosstrek. I’m looking at the Wilderness and Limited.
  18. Has anyone bought a new car lately? I’m researching. Looking for sporty, fun, reliable and not too small SUV. A good friend swears by her Subaru Cross Trek. It looks good. Idk. Any suggestions appreciated.
  19. A heartbreaker for NC State. Also Duke and UNC. Oh well. 👏🏻🧸
  20. Hmm….well. I didn’t call. This is a mystery.
  21. I’m excited about the eclipse. A neighbor brought me a pair of eclipse glasses. Hope they’re approved. I had a deputy come to my door tonight saying an incomplete cell phone call came from here. But, there was no such call. I showed him my phone. I hadn’t even used the phone in the preceding hour. He had no explanation. Isn’t that odd? He didn’t check with the neighbors. How does that happen?
  22. The movie made me think a lot. You never really know someone. I also felt Tom/Matt had a teal talent for impersonation. That was also presented in the series, but not nearly as impressive, imo.
  23. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it was a bit heavy on the Italian….speaking….lol. Sorry. It was a bit much. And yes, I’ve watched entire movies with English subtitles. Not sure why this seemed so much.
  24. Yeah, the casting here was not good, imo. I still made it all the way through though. I thought the elder Mr. Greenleaf would have been a perfect role for Matt Damon with a little makeup. Can you imagine? Lol. And, you would think playing Marge would have been easy, but I found Fanning flat. In fact, I found the entire cast flat, except for the detectives and hotel staff. It was beautifully shot and directed. I missed Meredith. And, I guess they left out Tom’s love interest that he takes the voyage with at the end. The ending with the detective’s discovery was ok, but not as provocative as the Damon ending. I haven’t read the books, but have seen the Damon movie. Think I’ll watch it again. I actually own the dvd, but have no idea where my dvd player is or if I still have it. Lol
  25. I wasn’t wild about any of the main characters casting, but found it quite enjoyable nonetheless. I wish the show had more discussion.
