Hey everybody! Just remembered the live thread. Please tell me, how tall is this lady? I must have missed it.

Does anyone have any suggestions to help with for trouble logging in to FB? My Dad was using the FB account fine, then FB suddenly went down in his area for about a day. Now, it’s up, but he can’t log in. It says there is no such account. Tried searching by name and email. It doesn’t work. One of his neighbors has the same problem! We’ve tried recovering the password, but it won’t work. We know the account email address and password are correct, because we wrote them down on the ipad box when it was opened and we have the emails in the inbox from FB. This is so frustrating.

Apparently, it’s true. It’s difficult to comprehend such a painful thing. The parents, siblings, ….the shock and loss in indescribable. I never met Garrison, but I did watch him grow up on tv. When you watch every episode for years, it’s like you get to know the family members. It’ll take a while to process this. Condolences to the entire family. Have you read threads for shows 90 Day Fiancé, Sister Wives and Little People Big World? I frequent them and they are extremely snarky. I can’t compare them to the various threads on Counting On, because I rarely frequent them, except for the Prayer Closet. I’m wondering if it’s due to those shows still airing and Counting On not still airing.

I’ve just started watching this season and I’m having to really push myself. It does seem off. Thought it was me. I hope it improves.

I just got caught up on part of Season 2 of the series (Watched every season of Flipping Out). There are some valid points made upthread about the featured homeowners and cast. My thoughts include: Josh….oh my…where to start. I recall him from way back….based on what he shows on this show he seems really immature. I assume his grooming style is for a role. Lol To me, he and others on the show blame certain design decisions as being what the child(ren) want. No…..imo, it’s what they want. They pretend it’s the kid(s), but I don’t buy it. Same goes for Reggie Bush. I do not buy the story the kids want to share the tiny bedroom. That’s my take on it. I won’t speculate as to why this is the parent’s’ decision, but I can imagine a couple of reasons. Jeff knew it too, but went along. Poor Sara…..oh my. I wonder if she realized how disturbed she would appear. I could barely believe with all those clothes she was wearing those outfits. Hmmmm….interesting choice. She seemed to like the new closet, but it likely will be short lived. She seemed really obsessed with collecting. And, she is in complete denial. Sad situation. Jeff wasn’t really kidding about the therapy. I guess I was surprised that Cynthia Bailey was so focused on holding on to stuff. I mean….she travels, has to pack, keep up with things…..you learn to travel light, right? Holding on to all that miscellaneous stuff…. So bizarre. I feel so free purging myself of unnecessary items. It’s difficult to imagine being like that. Women over 40 can let go of material possessions. I do not believe this is Jeff’s forever home. He’s a malcontent. He won’t stay there. It’s not even his style. Even if he makes it to fit his aesthetics….he’ll get bored with it and fall in love with another project, imo. I look forward to watching the remaining episodes. I haven’t read about any updates yet.

I actually watched this on a Dateline or 48/Hours episode. Bizarre.

There are some issues, but overall I think the show is better than ever. As annoying as these characters can be, they can’t compete with the OG characters like April and Natalie….omg. The dementia issue should be interesting. Didn’t another famous medical show have the same storyline? Dr. Grey’s mother on Grey’s Anatomy…..She was married to the Chief of Staff I believe. I didn’t watch all episodes. I would like to see Goodwin’s romance storyline play out. Mature people fall in love too. She shouldn’t take on the care of her ex. It’s too much for one person to care for a robust and resistant to care person with dementia. I’ve tried it. People can’t imagine how that’s often a job for three shifts of people. i’m liking Ripley, even though he really lost it this week. He’s very attractive, imo. I hope Dr. Charles is away from his girlfriend. She was too absorbed with her controlling brother. Red flags. I hope he meets someone new.

Did you see the movie Copote? It’s a very intense and detailed portrayal of the man that featured many of his relationships. Hoffman won an Oscar for his portrayal.

Yeah…there might be some issues, but so far it’s not bothering me.

I’ve noticed that Nikki cries the same amount whether she’s in the relationship with Justin or out of the relationship. She’s in extreme torment regardless. That is not a healthy situation. Is it just me or does Justin seem to loathe Nikki? I get the same vib from some of the other couples too. Sophie defended her decision to go through with marriage like it was a good thing. When there is so much angst and incivility, it’s a red flag…..not a challenge to be ignored. She seemed desperate to just get married. It’s difficult for me to watch Jasmine and Gino. Too toxic. I don’t think Citra has any idea what she’s dealing with. Addiction is a very serious condition.

Where I’m from, the bride dresses at the venue. I can’t recall anyone going to the venue in their gown. Just seems funny to me.
