Wasn't Otis the one who had his grandmother (or great grandmother) around for a bit? Didn't Cruz date Otis' cousin in one of the earlier seasons? I might be remembering that wrong.

S01.E01: Stuck / S01.E02: Invisible To Me
Misslindsey replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Station 19 [V]
I tuned in for Okieriete Onaodowan, since I saw him a few times in Hamilton awhile back. Overall the show was okay. I will tune in some more because it was entertaining enough. I did like the cast so far. That could very well change. I watch Chicago Fire, so I am used to unrealistic. -
Amber saying that people on social media think that she is a bad mom because she was filming Marriage Boot Camp during the summer. No Amber, I thought you were a bad mom way before that.

When Calls The Heart - General Discussion
Misslindsey replied to maraleia's topic in When Calls The Heart
I kept wondering where Phillip's parents were. Elizabeth had a throwaway line about his dad being away. Was he staying with someone? It is possible I may have missed something, because I tend to multitask when this show is on. -
I too liked Royal Matchmaker. I spent most of the day marching so it was nice to settle in with a fluff movie. I like Bethany Joy Lenz in these cheesy movies. The movie she and Andrew Walker were in during Christmas on Lifetime is one of my new favorites. I thought the whole cast was enjoyable. The concept worked for me better than a lot of these "royal" type of movies. I liked that there was not a big misunderstanding. Another thing that I enjoyed was that the king was not trying to sabotage the possible romance between the leads, nor did he look down on Kate. I guess I liked that no one was actively trying to sabotage the potential couple. That seems somewhat typical in these type of movies. I was actually glad that they did not pair Victor with the helper, just because that is where I thought it was going. Though I agree Victor had chemistry with pretty much the whole cast.

In the last episode Robyn mentioned that Meri decided to go to school and not work with Robyn on My Sisterwife's Closet. I do not really remember if that is what happened. I know someone here must remember if that is how that all went down. I think Robyn was irritated by Meri doing that. If that was me I would be more irritated that Meri pulled back on that and did not end up pursuing more schooling.

In all the pictures Jill and Derick seem sort of separate. Does that make sense? Almost like they are two random people traveling with the rest.

I am sick of Cynthia's many t-shirts that she adds her name too or "50 Cynt". Oh I am cannot stand Kim, but everyone has covered that far more eloquently than I could.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
Misslindsey replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
I painted an old coffee table with chalkboard paint when I was in college. It was just kind of fun to leave ridiculous messages and drawings on it. -
A part of me wishes Jessa would enter Henry or Spurge and win. Iz is cute, but for some reason I have a soft spot for Spurge and Henry.

How long before Jill posts on Instagram a picture of Sam/Iz or a #besthubbyever post?

S08.E13: Crying Shame
Misslindsey replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I love your whole post @Avaleigh, but this part especially. Erika being dismissive that Teddi and LVP have a shared interest was so weird to me. Yup I said weird. I like the scenes where Teddi and LVP are around horses, because there is only so many shopping trips and lunch/dinner/drinks scenes that I can take. It is something different. For Dorit everything seems to be Teddi's fault because Teddi and LVP get along well. Don't forget everyone Erika's various costumes and fashion sense give her depth. My eyes are rolling so hard right now. -
I agree. I am not a Conrad/Nic fan, because so much of the time I hate predetermined couples. I prefer when shows see where the chemistry is before pairing up characters. I just find them so bland together. I prefer their interactions with other characters far more than them together. Like you said, at least we started the show in the middle of their romance. I do also, like that they seem to be written with maturity instead of acting ridiculously when dealing with their relationship.

S08.E13: Crying Shame
Misslindsey replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I would have cried. It was not just Erika's over the top aggressive response that got me. It was the way she (and Dorit) spoke condescendingly and down to Teddi is what would upset me more. I hate when people try to make others feel stupid and small. Though I am a cryer, so Erika would call me a crybaby as well. -
S10.E15: Let There Be Light and Love
Misslindsey replied to zoeysmom's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
Hee! This so much of this! I thought something must have happened with the way Nene kept going off about Tyrone, when that really was not what was being asked, especially when Eva said that Sheree and Nene recently reconciled. -
I agree. Kendra especially seems very genuine with her personality and reactions. The Duggar kids all seem to have very similar temperaments. I think some of the Bates kids can be annoying, but they all seem to have different personalities and such. The Duggar's seem to be robots. I was just happy that Joe did not take Kendra out for a drippy sundae, or did he? I do not follow any of these fools on social media. I will be at my table for one with not being enamored with Jinger and Jeremy.

I would not last ten minutes. Can you bring bottles of wine and a corkscrew?
-
Hee! She is probably just "volunteering".

I love to read and love books too, but If I have to hear Jeremy talk about his books anymore I might just throw one (or all) at him. I thought the room where they had the bookshelves put into looked a bit cramped with the desk in there as well. I may play a drinking game and drink whenever Jeremy talks about his books.

I thought I saw Schwartz take off his jacket when they got to the lighting place. I am thinking Sandoval did the same somewhere between Pandora and her husband meeting and the lighting shop.

Did Angel and Angela's uncle get demoted? I think he was with the other parents in the audience during the competition, but was not on the sidewalk watching with the others during practices. What about the other mom who was new last season with Princess' mom? During the previous "who is going to be the captain" season I thought Camryn was a lock for it. So that being drawn out a whole season was pretty anti-climatic. I am unsure if Chrystianna is a lock for the captain's position this season. I do like seeing some of the other girls having a chance to shine though. For some reason I always thought that Chrystianna's mother was out of the picture. So I was surprised when she showed up and Rittany was gone. I felt that something seemed hinky with Rittany leaving without some sort of goodbye or something. She seemed very invested in Chrystianna and the Dancing Dolls, so I am shocked that she is gone. Glad to see Selena is doing better. I really liked Jaylene, so I hope she sticks around. I really did not mind her mom either. Faith is probably my favorite on the show, so I am going to miss her when she leaves.

I always thought Nicky went by Nicky Reagan-Boyle. I feel like there was some other episode where she dropped the "Reagan" from her name in an earlier season. I could be misremembering though.
-
Maybe she is taking after Teen Mom's Amber. That is my best guess.

I agree it was a beautiful movie. I do not think the previews or clips really do it justice. I can see why it is not everyone's cup of tea since it is a fantasy film. I was rooting for Shape of Water, Call me by Your Name, or Get Out to win, but I thought Shape of Water had the best chance of beating Three Billboards.

Oh geez. I cannot believe that I forgot about The Wire and Creed. He was very good in both of those as well. I was so glad he was getting more recognition after Fruitvale Station came out, because I thought he was such a good actor.
