That was awful. Al had no family at the hospital? Voight never once said that Al died because of him. Was I meant to feel empathy or pity for Voight on seeing his little temper tantrum on the roof? I too wish he had jumped. This show has a strong cast and over the years lots of highly rated shows have survived and thrived when their so-called star has left. A hair on a body and a witness at night do not make a murder charge/case. All Al needs to do is keep quiet. But sadly we finally get an episode about Al and he still only speaks a couple of dozen words. I hope he doesn’t solve the issue with suicide. Voight needs to step up.

I can’t believe they didn’t put any of the parents of the other 31 parents on the stand, didn’t find one or more with strong religious reasons against donations,or try to find out if any others were not quite dead. Zoe could have been on life support while she tried to convince parents to consent but as stone said she chose to play God. She didn’t ask because she knew many would refuse.Finally if all she was charged with and found guilty of was forgery why in the world was there even a trial since she confessed to forgery. An interesting topic handled badly by the writers.

Another case decided by a witness losing their cool on the stand. And why did the boys lawyer even let him testify when they appeared to have already won. Regardless of the ending the niece caused it all to happen by lying in the first place. She ruined the boys life. I know he was guilty the second time but if she hadn’t lied in the beginning it never would have happened. And why didn’t his apparently tough lawyer not object st the beginning of stone’s tirade

While I watch this hoping/wondering when/if Doctors Lane and Bell will be brought down, I know that won't happen since they are main cast members and likely won't be fired or killed off. That thought makes watching less interesting for me.

I think I am finished with this show and I had such high hopes for it. I can hand wave a fire station with only three people, and Buck being irresistible to any woman he meets, therapist included etc etc. But Bobby being responsible for the death of 150 people, Abby not locking her door at night so her mom can't get out, a guy asking you details of your sex life on your first "date" when by the way she is supposed to be in a panic over her lost mother is too much.. And maybe I am a prude but their 'phone sex' made me squirm and lets face it Connie is 48 to his 23 it makes her appear desperate. (Yes I know men are always portrayed as much older than the women on tv, and I don't like that either) Its like the writers want to pack every possible thing into one episode. Finally, given I came to watch this show mainly for Connie and Peter I am unimpressed with their acting in this show. Maybe they are rushing them through episodes but Bobby's crying and angst is just not well done.

On some challenges a team can opt to sit out by taking a time penalty, I guess it would have been impossible to have such an option in the pommes frite race. (unless you got a two or so hour penalty and if all teams finished before your time was out you were out)

I agree with the writer earlier who said that losing a parent at 17 is awful but it shouldn't have paralyzed them for the rest of their lives. My mother died when I was fourteen and as the only girl all the household chores--cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry etc--fell to me. In that regard, the lives of my father and brothers didn't change. But I can't sit around whining about it. I am a grown up. And my brothers and I get on just fine. I can't go back and relive my life, one can only go forward.

I usually give a new show a few watches before dumping it. But wow, this was bad from start to finish. So sad with such a good cast. I am willing to let some things go but not everything in every scene. For instance in the home invasion scene, the rookie was to drive the firetruck with siren blaring to trick the bad guys. Did he just happen to take time to hook up to a fire hydrant (if so, why)? Because if not, where did the water come from? Trucks pump water, they do not carry it.

Maybe I am not remembering correctly but didn't we see a scene last season where Gabby was the one pinning a medal on Casey at some awards thingy, and he said words to the effect that SHE not he was the hero. And now in the first episode of this season her father says the same thing. And he declares her the hero because she spoke to him when the rest of the family wouldn't while his heroics only involved stepping in front of a knife?? If that's all it takes then I think I am a hero, lol. So I guess next maybe Voight or Dr. Rhodes could show up to declare her a hero.

All those who think the producers manipulated the outcome need to consider a few things. Maybe there are too many idols, but they were not labelled with Ben's name only, they all could have looked for them. While he was out hunting, the others were sleeping. They could have taken shifts and gone hunting as well. He came very close to winning immunity except for the letter U and given his lack of sleep and not getting fed on rewards as often as others it would have been expected that he would have been too shaky to do well on that challenge. And thinking of puzzles there were way too many this year in my opinion and that was very much to Chrissy.'s advantage. The twist at the end allowed Chrissy to take one 'goat' with her for sure and a chance to get rid of Ben with the fire making. It even allowed her to tell Devon so he could practice and he quit practicing because he got a 'sign' If Ben had won immunity I have no idea how she would have done on fire making. But in the end it comes down to a vote and 6 of 9 voted for Ben. So maybe he wasn't as disliked as some people like to believe. And Devon didn't even vote for her. Perhaps he just wanted to be kind to Ryan or maybe he spoiled his 'ballot' cuz he didn't want either of the other two. We all want our favorite to win but when they don't we can't blame TPTB. Also, I didn't like Chrissy's speech about ALL mom's being heroes. As in all things, there are some great, some mediocre and some terrible moms. Declaring herself and all moms heroes was just an attempt to garner votes as was her interest in everyone's lives. Finally, don't 'game' shows have to submit their rules to some group before filming for the very reason to prevent producer manipulation? But all the above is just my opinion afterall. Lol
