When I went in to have my first child in the late seventies a Dr came in with a crowd of young drs “in training “ to observe the internal examination. I said no way. He said this is a teaching hospitals and I told him I never agreed to it. They went away and I felt overall I was treated coldly by all from then on. I know drs have to learn somehow but the patient should have to consent. I had a history that would have made it very difficult for me. Of course they knew nothing of it which is why consent is so important

How old is Hester? When I look at her in one of her costumes I think young...twentyish. But this week we saw a couple of shots of her close up without her clown glasses and l realized she was way older than I imagined. Much like Betsy Johnson who at 71 looks ridiculous most often.

They knew so little about the teenagers history. Maybe she wasn’t as innocent as we were made to believe. Perhaps this wasn’t her first self abortion. Perhaps she had a long history of promiscuous behaviour or even drug use. Her parents may need to know why she is ill in order to help her. Also why didn’t the “Dad” get a say in anything. If he thought he was the father and raised her as such why cut him out at that point.

It’s unbelievable that every single week Bess et al and especially Henry solve/survive an international crisis/threat. And always at the last minute. Plus why is Bess (and Cat) conferencing with world leaders instead of the president? Finally Lena was shot at least four times by my count and in a week is making a speech. Oh almost forgot Bess brought down the Polish government

I found the stuff with Thirsty and the FBI very boring as was a lot of the show. Cookie used to have lots of great if weird clothes and multiple outfit changes every week. Lately not so much and she wore one unflattering outfit the whole time except for flashbacks. Is the show on a tight budget now?

Given the judges had a whole season with Eric perhaps they could have googled his genre of cooking to note some main dish types etc in order to assess him fairly. After all they often encourage the chefs to “cook your food”
