I agree. I was watching last night and thinking that there’s no front runners (maybe Chi, but that’s it). They’re all talented, and I enjoy watching all their bakes. I’m gutted when each one goes home. The hosts and the judges do their job with grace. This show contributes to bring me joy.

I had never heard of that cut, either. Apparently, it’s the same as kalbi, which I kept saying to my tv “that looks like kalbi beef, I wonder if they’re similar”.

The way I snorted when the aide shimmied her way out of Ava’s office. I’m really looking forward to see how she interacts with Melissa.

Not sure how I feel about this “X” system. And I will continue to shout it from the rooftops—have the show travel around the country! There are so many cultural traditions in Canada that deserve to be highlighted.

I noticed that when reading the final clue, there was no mention that “the last team(s) to check in may or may not be eliminated, but I went from being super excited when Jesse and Marika made it in to [insert bad word here] when Frenella were also in, to cheering when Beverly and Veronika were out. Looking forward to the finale, in my neck of the woods.

Plus another that the challenge was in French. I can read French pretty well, but it’s the spoken that would have thrown me for a loop. I am really liking the challenges this season.

They somehow knew that she was going to eventually date Jeff Bezos. I believe she left to have a child.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane! One of my favourites was Allison and Ivan’s contemporary. And this one from Donyelle and Benji, because it’s fun and I wish her health.

They aren’t my favourites either. Was it Tychon and Cedric who referenced that the dogs feed off peoples’ energy, so they don’t think that the two women would do well? I wonder how the rest of the contestants feel about them.

This ^^^. There are so many amazing dance styles in communities around the world, and I’d love to see more of them (having said that, as a Polynesian dancer, I cringed at the Tahitian from a few seasons ago).

I'm disappointed with them too, and at least the edit showed that they were disappointed in themselves. They would have finished the task faster than Jully and Kathy without resorting to cheating. I'm glad that they were penalized for it. I had noticed Jully reaching for the tablet as well, and totally understand why they were penalized for it too. Very excited for next week (won't say anything as it could be considered a spoiler).

Yes it does, and to state otherwise is elitist and demonstrates a bias towards certain dance styles. I have competitively danced many different styles throughout my life, and I put just as much work to do hip hop than other styles. It has history, and movements are codified, and dancers practice just as hard as other dancers. In this head to head, I agree that Essence did a better job than Ralyn.

Craig was made for that roadblock challenge, and I loved that the spectators got totally involved too. Cassie’s comment about waiting 2 years to get pregnant, I wonder how long ago this cast was chosen, then had to wait until they decided to start filming the new season.
