Exactly, context is everything. I don't understand why this is even a story. People are having these same type of conversations in private. Whoopie's crack about Bernie was uncalled for and it just displayed how ignorant she is.. The ladies are just so biased against Bernie and it made me so angry. I could say more but I will be walking into a mine field regarding how we are allowed to discuss politics on the board. The ladies are just so uninformed about so many things it is so embarrassing. I expect more from Joy and Sunny..

Current Plots Discussion: Actually Today's Episode
Pearson80 replied to CatLady's topic in Days Of Our Lives
This may be an unpopular opinion but I hate Deidre's version of Hattie. Andrea Hall was so much better in the role. -
Whoopie is an inarticulate ill-informed mess. She has flashes of coherence here and there but not enough to offset her ignorance about alot of topics.

She tried to get Sunny fired from the show for liking a tweet that condemned her deplorable behavior. It was a very benign criticism but she took it to heart. She also accused Sunny of leaking to the press about her behavior on and off the show. For months last year, Sunny refused to even speak to her on the show. Even when they walked out, she would walk several feet behind her.. I assumed the producers told her to cut it out. She eventually softened up but I have no doubt Sunny is done with her. She hated on Sara for some bizarre behavior. She would freeze Sarah out and would not speak to Sara offset. That really affected Sara who admitted that she was going through a bit of postpartum depression and was hypersensitive. I think she got upset once when Sara told her that she grew up in the rust belt so she had an even better understanding on why they voted the way that they did. Megan seems to believe that she is the expert on middle America and she was fit to be tied after that.. I also think that Megan looks down on her for her working class roots..

Good for Abby and I love that sage advice Whoopie gave her.. That must mean that Whoopie is also done with Messy..

Go Rachel! she is killing it.. I wonder how her rivals on other channels feel about her. I remember Chris Cuomo threw shade at her.. Go Rachel! she is killing it.. I wonder how her rivals on other channels feel about her. I remember Chris Cuomo threw shade at her..

She will say that regardless. If she quits, she will say the ladies drove her away. Look at how Jedediah would not badmouth the ladies after she was fired. She actually praised the ladies on her other show.

Ron is a hack. How does Kristen who has done so much evil gets a baby and Sarah who has never done anything vile like Kristen loses hers. Ron has to have a baby switch no matter what.

I am re-watching season 1 and it feels me with so much joy and sadness. The season has so many clues on how powerful the sisters would be.. I love the darkness and the soundtrack is awesome, it really sets the mood of the show. The chemistry between the three ladies is just magical, no pun intended. It is too bad it went left in season 3. Season 3 is the beginning of the end for me. Constance is gone and Brad Kern now runs the show. Prue will die at the end of the season due to Shannen's firing. The prominence of Leo was a foreshadowing of the the male takeover of the show. I have always loved the sisters in season 1, figuring out their battles on their own without Leo's input and the useless elders. The character assassination of Phoebe Halliwell was vile. Phoebe's enthusiasm for magic and zest for life was so endearing in season 1 and 2. Phoebe betraying the power of 3 and her sisters should have had consequences. They also ruined the sisters powers in season 3. Piper should have gotten an offensive power at the beginning of this season while Phoebe gets a defensive power towards the latter half that would help her and her sisters defeat Cole.. Also, the sisters original powers should have grown throughout that season. Morality bites of season 2 gave us a glimpse on what was to come and it is too bad it never materialized. I also wanted them to get stronger with their spellcasting abilities. They were very powerful witches. I always loved that Phoebe had that down pat. I loved her helping Prue cast a spell to help an innocent in season 2. I wish we had seen the sisters curse demons and bless innocents throughout the series. I also wish we had seen them face demons that was specific to a particular sister because of her unique abilities. Evil human beings should have been a part of their ongoing battle with evil. It would have been interesting to see how they would neutralize them. Past Warren witches should have been a part of the show. It would have been cool to see future Warren Witches summon the sisters to their time to help them with a problem that needed the power of 3.

CNN is just the worst, I often wonder if they work for the RNC with the type of questions they were throwing at the Democrats.

Not to mention, Abby's twins were in the NICU, that must have been terrifying for Abby and her family. Abby spoke about meeting other parents in her position and she had nothing but good things to say about the nursing staff at the hospital who were there for her and all of the other mothers there. You would think that somebody like Nutmeg who claims to be pro-life would be celebrating that her friend's babies were well enough to get out of the NICU and go home. Plus, Abby's kids are all under 3, it makes sense that she would talk about her kids.

I doubt it since Julie is no longer there. Sharon no longer has the power that she used to have. I don't get her attitude towards Marie. I have also noticed that Marie pushes back more often than the others who always agree with Sharon.

Booker was just too Kumbaya for the electorate. The base of his party wants a fighter who will fight. He is a great senator and I think he can effect change in this country without being President. I had no problem with the long interview. It showed that Rachel was giving his supporters the chance to hear from him. Also, Booker is an example that the Black vote is not guaranteed to you just because you are Black. You have to earn it and show that you can win the general.

Nutmeg is always a victim. Being a victim means she never has to take responsibility for her own shortcomings and actions.. Isn't personal responsibility her party's motto?

I was referencing the Gideon and Emily story who were Stayla's double. Steve and Kayla had moved into a house where Steve found a diary that chronicled the love story between Gideon a union soldier and Emily a southern belle who fell for each other during the civil war. As Kayla read from the diary, we the viewers saw Marybeth and Stephen portray them. A really beautiful story and the actors sold it. Ron could always have Emily's consciousness inserted into Kayla and voila Kayla as Emily would be confused about why she was living in the 21st century.

Salem International: Casting Notes: Arrivals & Departures
Pearson80 replied to radishcake's topic in Days Of Our Lives
The show missed an opportunity by not having Orpheus be the one who held Will captive during his missing years. Perhaps Will fell in love with Orpheus' grandson. It would have tied in beautifully with his history with John Marlena and Roman. -
I will not be surprise to find out that Bonnie is really Adrienne who has been brainwashed into believing that she is Bonnie. Ron loves his doppelganger stories. I am surprised he did not have Kayla's doppelganger come into town as well. If Kim was in town, her alters would have emerged and cause mayhem..

She seems to be going after Sara's job on that show. Sarah should have stayed on the view, but the resident bully would not let her be. The irony is that Missy came for Joy but ended up driving out others.

As long as they don't bring Candace Owens and Tomi Lahren to take Abby's place. Those two are worst than Megan. Ana Kasparian would be awesome and she would be a progressive voice that the country needs to hear and see. The media tends to frame progressives from the right's perspective.
-
She just had her ninth child and I would not be surprise if she continues to have more children. She is another hard pass..
-
Oh hell no! That will never happen..

Wow! Megan is a piece of work. What a vile bitch! she needs help.. Who berates a mother for bringing up her kids during hot topics. No wonder Abby decided to run for the hills. The suits at ABC should be ashamed of themselves for allowing Megan to do this to people.

I actually think that their friendship may survive because Abby has left the show.. Some people get along better when they are not in each other's faces. Megan's nastiness and immaturity has probably strained their friendship. I get the impression that Abby really enjoyed being on the show with the other ladies. Whoopie has never lost her temper with her. She is very protective of her. The same with Joy. Abby has a pleasant demeanor and I have always appreciated the fact that she walked away from her religion because of their stance against the LGBTQ community.
