"Teenager" is just a word and a concept. A 13-year-olds brain, or even an 19-year-olds brain is still growing and very immature. And I think the world would be a healthier place if more people were "coddled".
Just finished The Trespasser by Tana French and I'm not completely sure what I think of it. I've read most of her other Dublin Murder Squad books and like those this edition will need another read to decide.
Just watched the first and half of the second series and I can't for the life of me figure out why Magnus is allowed to be a police officer, let alone a detective. He's a complete moron!
Or they keep the style outside and when you walk in the front door you feel like you've stepped across a portal into white/grey open concept HGTV-Trendland.
I think people are being a bit hard on the Hampton Roads guy. Now, if they had gotten the house he wanted sure, pile on. But since that didn't happen I'm going to call producer shenanigans unless more info is provided.
Sigh. Another female "designer" host, male contractor, white/grey, mostly open concept. Why? Why does HGTV need this programme? So far the only remotely interesting one was the investor couple.
Leonard and Mrs C are what make this programme watchable. Henry is going to be quite interesting too. He might become what Sidney and Will are supposed to be.
The question is WILL the market ever cool or is this how it's going to be for at least the next decade? So long as Tarek himself is making money I doubt he cares how he comes off, and with the magic of editing and straight out classic HGTV lying viewers could be told he's helping.
I liked that the disabled sister (played by a disabled actor!) gets to be just as evil as her brother. Josh is getting on my nerves. We get it, you're in love with Allie. Do you need to be giving her puppy eyes and loaded comments every single episode?
It's kind of pathetic Grissom is only now coming to the conclusion that facts don't matter to many people. It's been that way since truthiness back in 05/06.
If she is only doing floors and keeps that as a single bathroom, and she has a good contractor, she'd have enough left to get new counters and a fridge at least.
She did want to marry him. She was just wise enough to know that there wasn't a chance they'd be allowed to marry at the time, so she tried to move on. As did he.
