  1. Children learn what they live. My guess is, he'll find someone else within the community that Mom and Dad will not approve of and it'll start all over again, but this time without the cameras. My guess is that this show is about done. There's nothing attractive about these very damaged individuals. They've lost whatever attraction they had with the outside world, kind of like the Browns and the Duggars and all those of this ilk. Once the shine is off, we see just how bad these people are and they no longer hold interest.
  2. Ethan will never know of Olivia, post-divorce. He will go back to his cocoon in Cairo and never hear another word about her, even if it’s offered to him. Remember, he pretty much cannot read and Kim and Barry will probably refuse Olivia’s name to be mentioned in their presence, once Ethan comes home. Their closed family circle will be restored and their lifestyle unencumbered by the impact of outside influences. Note that, outside of Hosanna, none of the other kids have outside relationships. That’s not an accident. The one outside relationship they had failed miserably because none of the kids can function outside the bubble.
  3. Slightly off-topic, but I've been told that a charcuterie board is nothing more than a tacit admission that there's no bread in the house.
  4. I was shocked to see he was 80 years old. I don’t know how he would’ve kept up with any kind of filming schedule, especially having been off the stage for a while.
  5. Monica should separate from mom as soon as possible. The relationship cannot be saved. Whitney should separate from Mary immediately. The relationship cannot be saved. Andy should separate from Mary. The relationship has no substance or purpose; there is/was nothing to be saved. Anyone taking odds on how long before Jack demands to come home before the two years in Columbia are past?
  6. So several truths became apparent in this episode. The only one that believes Kody and Meri have a chance is Robyn. Kody only wants to see his adult kids on his terms, no compromise. Kody’s adult kids want nothing to do with him. Christine does appear to be encouraging Janelle, but Kody believes Christine to be the root of all evil. Janelle is on her way out the door. Kody is a monogamist. Good Lord, he has said for several seasons now that he doesn’t have a favorite wife and, in just about the same breath, says Robyn is the love of his life. Stick a fork in this. It’s done.
  7. I know they are using crossovers, and that’s fine, but I have no connection with any of the yachties, having given upon Below Deck years ago. Not sure whether I will stay with it.
  8. Because it's getting to the point that no one wants to film with Meredith anymore. She also needed the sads to be able to tell her story of the near-end of her life.
  9. As I was listening to the story, it reminded me of my best childhood friend’s story. Her husband died on 8 August under very similar circumstances. He was gone two HOURS before his 71st birthday. Pneumonia and heart.
  10. I know she was on watch what crappens immediately following the broadcast. I have to wonder if anyone asked her what the heck was up with that? It's odd that there was no explanation for any of that nonsense.
  11. The whole program was a waste of time. Nothing but a whine fest without any cheese. Christine is better off out and the foreshadowing of the next departure was strong in this episode. The premise of the show destroyed their family? Then it wasn’t very strong to begin with.
  12. Voted on the title, but might’ve preferred ‘Got what she asked for; not what she wanted.’
  13. It might’ve been that he wasn’t all that interested in dating Katie on camera. Might’ve been his choice. I am also not convinced she is over Schwartz. That could’ve been tiring too,
  14. I bet we find out if Rachel is filming by the time the reunion for this season is broadcast. How else can they keep our interest unless they can constantly tease this?
  15. Back from the barge for a question that has bothered me since earlier in the month. Are there any Baldwins left in the story line anywhere? Lee Baldwin has been gone for years and years, but Scotty managed to survive for a long time after. I believe he is gone, so are there any Baldwins left to speak of on TFGH?
  16. Depending on what she’s doing, some gigs pay for travel. That is all I have.
  17. A long ago viewer that left for the barge probably ten or more years ago, but I saw the episode while channel surfing today that was a re-broadcast of the memorial for Epiphany. I did know that she had passed, but it was a real 'old-home-week' moment to enjoy the episode. I liked Epiphany and was surprised and saddened that she'd passed so young. Nevertheless, seeing the cast again after all these years was interesting. Elizabeth as head nurse? The legacy of that still resonates these 50 years or more later when my mother used to watch the show before heading for her shift at the hospital. Audrey and Lucille and Jessie all came clamoring back in my memory. They had the photo of Dr. Hardy in the background during one of the flashbacks. Not sure why Monica literally phoned it in at the end, but I'm surprised she's still around. Stuart Damon, the other Dr. Quartermaine, has been gone for a couple of years and I was also shocked to still see Jackie Zeman in the show, since she passed a few months ago (the episode was shot in December, before her passing). I didn't care all that much about Sonny and Carly - he's aged but she hasn't. Robert, Laura and Diane all have seen the march of time go on, as well. I'm back on the barge, of course (still working for a short time more until retirement) and I most likely won't come back to Port Charles any time soon, but it was nice to have a short visit.
  18. I think the restraining order against Scheana, even though it was withdrawn, will complicate any filming opportunities and with darned good reason. Even if nothing comes of it, the restraining order costs money to initially defend. No one has time for that nonsense. ETA: I don't see how Raquel had any success in the pageant business. She is attractive, but not extraordinarily so. She has no poise. She can't string a sentence together to save her life, without the distractions of 'um's and like's'. Her parents sound like pageant parents - they still have control over her and she's over 30 (having, by her own admission, aged out of pageant world). She is attractive to Sandoval because he's looking for a malleable female that will let him do whatever he wants without interference or analysis. I want to like her, but she's not worth an effort.
  19. Sorry to say, but as the (I think, late) Art Cashin once said, that was a waste of carfare and a clean shirt. There was nothing of interest in any of that.
  20. They need to go. I don’t want to see them in any form. They are living their lives with only this show to hold them up. Not good for him as a recovering. He needs to have the routine of a job and responsibilities. Waiting for next season filming won’t cut it.
  21. Thing is, if the audience bailed early, they didn’t get their money back, so the band still gets paid.
  22. But no one has mentioned yet that Raquel’s outfit changed during the first trailer scene. Initially she had a black and white sweater with a white heart on it. Same scene later, her top was a black leotard. That was a serious editing error.
  23. He had best be careful about doing that. Could cut his audience by double digit percentages. He is a pissant band member in a pissant band. He ain’t Kiss or Green Day or even a cover band for a big name.
  24. Lindsey always seems to fly under the radar. Deep down she is not a nice person and hasn’t been a nice person for her entire tenure on Summer House. She has driven away some of the earlier participants and I just am not comfortable that Carl seems to be depending on her in his early sobriety. I say this, having had a 30 year sober partner and we still couldn’t make it. The telling question from the right couch as to whom is Lindsey still talking to that she has known longer than six months. After a while, this kind of person shows their true colors and it is up to those that were previously burned to warn new prey. And I will be interested to hear the answer next week as to what job (other than Bravo) Carl and Linds actually have. Bravolebrity doesn’t last forever and gets nothing on a commercial resume. Have to wonder if the rest of the cast gets input to decide that these two won’t be asked back, if there is another season.
  25. Watching some of the reruns from three years ago, the cast was probably double or more what it is now. If the show isn't dead, it probably will be in a year or so.
