  1. I am excited about the show next week if the rumor is true that they are headed to Budapest. I spent two weeks there a number of years ago. A fascinating mix of old Hungary, Soviet Hungary and post-Soviet Hungary all in Budapest.
  2. Not in foreclosure anymore, again. https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/kim-zolciak-biermanns-home-foreclosure-auction-canceled-details/
  3. I do see Carl’s point about trying to sell alcohol in an alcohol-laden environment when he is battling his sobriety. That is like asking a recovering alkie to bartend on the weekends. It is tough to do and do well. On the other hand, Carl is not blameless for skipping out on his responsibilities. Ditching out of meetings and not getting out there with clients? A VP of Sales does those things and more and typically for a darned good salary. Part of the job description. Whether Lindsey is in his ear or not, Carl needs to take the responsibility for his actions and either straighten up or get out. On his current trajectory, Carl is failing in his responsibilities and could well cost Loverboy more than just the one client.
  4. It could be that enough venues have heard about these ‘dates’ that the truly interesting ones want nothing to do with them. Closing a venue for an entire day so that there are no other guests? That’s an expensive venture, especially post-COVID, when so many places lost so much revenue for over a year. Re: Chris coming back. Dear hubby is one of those who abandoned the show with Chris’ departure. Chris is far happier not having to deal with any of the nonsense. I suspect he laughed at them and hung up the phone, if they actually contacted him, which I bet they haven’t and won’t.
  5. Well, there is this (today): Meri Brown Will 'Hardly Make Any Appearances' In New Season (okmagazine.com)
  6. So that’s 45 minutes of my life I won’t get back. The show needs to go. Bravo is trying to find other women to include. These four are so deeply toxic, they should all go to their separate corners and never come out, ever again. The franchise as a whole is awful, but this particular segment of it is a don’t-see, ranking right up there with NJ, ATL, and BH. I won’t be back for another season. This wasn’t even mediocre. It was awful and it’s time, just as it has been with Dallas and several of the others, for these people to go away. There was a time I wanted to know what happened next after the reunion. I don’t care enough about these women. Period.
  7. It is a shame there is no interest in a US broadcast. I suppose I will follow here.
  8. All I know now is, viewership has been down, whether for just crappy contestants or for CH being dismissed. This series is supposed to be a guilty pleasure and that was destroyed with the whole incident. Dear hubby and I bonded over this show in our dating years. Since the CH firing, the show had not been on in our home. It is no longer a guilty pleasure once politics comes into the equation. ETA: this article from September 2022 pretty much defines my position: https://decider.com/2022/09/19/the-bachelor-franchise-is-losing-fans/
  9. Do we know where in Morocco this story takes place?
  10. I think it was that podcast the program was showing a portion of. I came in partway through to know if it was the same one. Thanks.
  11. I live next door to Luke’s State (MN). Watching he Minnesota Wild pre-game, there is a big push for Hockey Day in Minnesota coming this Saturday. Luke was just on some pre-taped podcast video talking about hockey. I know he is a coach, but I don’t know for what team he coaches. Could be his team or some of his players are playing on Saturday.

    S27.E01: Week 1

What’s the story with the woman from Fargo, did he reject her to her face???
  13. I guess I am somewhat excited about this season, as they are going to Morocco and to the Dominican for two of the stories. I have a recent colleague in Morocco and spent three weeks in the Dominican last summer. I thought the DR story was close to Punta Cana, but I may be mistaken.
  14. https://pagesix.com/2023/01/20/rhoslc-is-casting-three-new-women-for-season-4/ So the article says there is a shakeup in the cast, but Meredith Marks, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose are all “safe.”. Of course that leaves Jen out because she will be doing time. I don’t think any of them should be safe. They are too predictable and uninteresting,
  15. Seems to me she is confirming what many have suspected and that is these storylines are more than fabricated. Her time with Bravo, for pulling back the curtain, is now limited and probably over.
  16. I would warrant that a lot of the original show’s fans tuned in to see the new version. Will be interesting to see how much of it they are able to retain. Hopefully at least half.
  17. This is a business decision that has made Bravo a whole lot of money. They make money from the horrific story and then there is the redemption tour after the sentence is served. They did this with New Jersey, they’re doing it with Beverly Hills and now with SLC. Don’t look for any changes in the business model any time soon, as I has been highly successful.
  18. Just looked at my recording list. I have Comcast and I have no record of the show last night. All these errors should really kill the ratings, not that there’s anything wrong with that. I can always try on-demand, but I just don’t know if I care enough. Nothing for 90-day either. Must be a TLC screwup that everything is missing.
  19. It’s called a vibrato and an uncontrolled one, at that. She needs a voice trainer to manage the vibrato and then decide on another line of work.
  20. I would think her kids’ marriages were also indicative of what she didn’t have.
  21. Lisa’s outfit, I think, was her objection to being there for Meredith. It was awful, looked like pajamas, didn’t fit her at all, and made the statement of ‘this is how you put your name on clothing’.
  22. It’s free money, exposure and publicity for her. One more entry on her resume. There hasn’t been a legitimate tell-all in the history of Bravo or TLC. These are all just add-on’s to seasons that didn’t quite finish story lines and keep viewers on the hook for more of the same next season. Same with the Bravo reunions. We are all still watching, regardless of the journalistic quality.
  23. She is doing the job they're paying her to do. The powers that be know that if these nincompoops are confronted with their lies, they simply will refuse to participate. The fambly has outlived its usefulness in any case and this tell-all is as much of a sham as the Browns' marriages. She won't be fired for doing what she's been told to do. ETA: For the record: Who Is Sukanya Krishnan? Host of 'Sister Wives' Tell-All (intouchweekly.com) In other words, no qualification whatsoever.
