  1. I'm not so sure Jo wasn't known to her and the group before the divorce. We haven't seen anything of Jo, so this is kind of a black hole. My guess is, should that relationship continue, we might find out for ourselves.
  2. And that was what was said when Andy tried the 'no one's hands are clean here, except for Katie and LVP'. Every one of them countered with yes, but we didn't do it with our partner's best friend. That shut Andy down real quick.
  3. I personally wouldn’t trust Lindsey with a sandwich. She is a viper and a user. I feel badly for Danielle having to deal with that. As happens with all things, Linds will eventually get her comeuppance, but we will never know about it. That said, yes, if these people are 40 years old or approaching 40, they have no justification for behaving as they do, either partying together or interacting with each other.
  4. Well, when I saw the previews for the season finale, I have to believe that Carl and Lindsey were in fact reminded how contracts work, since they show up in those previews. Like, show up or we are taking back your pay and canceling your contract for future seasons, not to mention possibly being sued. Lindsey has always been an interesting character, but now she is just ugly.
  5. I still need to watch the entire episode, but some commentary apart from what was seen: If I recall correctly, Schwartz's brothers have cognitive issues or some forms of learning disabilities. It is altogether possible that, while Tom is not as affected, he may still BE affected. With respect to Ariana, agree with the commentary that their relationship has been on the rocks, but deal with it or break it off. There's no excuse for Sandoval's behavior and he may lose everything from it, but Ariana is going to go on with her life without Tom. Tom is going to be shunned and now, I understand, what he gave everything up for has now also been lost. I appreciate that most of the cast has surrounded Ariana and pushed Sandoval out. Rachel should also be pushed out. She shouldn't come back to the show under any circumstances - she was an ancillary character up to now and she has relinquished all opportunity to be permanently on the show. It also wouldn't surprise me if Ariana leaves the show. She doesn't need any reminders of the gaslighting (yes, it was gaslighting where Tom & Tom built the narrative about her without her knowledge or consent). If the two boys are still on the show, she absolutely, positively should just say no and go on with her life. She's created a new world for herself, she's happy and she doesn't need this (and I will be willing to bet her new beau wants nothing to do with reality TV).
  6. Rachel needs a mental health facility. She needs to figure out who she is before she comes back to the show. She was simply awful. No pity for Schwartz missing Katie. She gave him ample opportunities and he just crapped all over them. There was no way that marriage could be saved.
  7. Been watching this show for years and, should they decide to try and do another season, it will be a problem. First, too many of the originals are now or should be gone. The two Toms and their former partners need to go off into the sunset. At nearly 40 years old and with personalities destroyed, they are no longer relevant. Bring back Kristen now is too late. Jax and Britney can’t carry the show. There are no remaining interesting characters and Lisa is closing a property or two in LA to create a spot for LVP in LV and elsewhere. Cut the losses. I can watch arguments just fine, but the vitriol that comes from the demises of decade or more longer relationships is not entertaining or interesting. Some of us watch the show to get away from this awfulness in real life. Why would I watch a show that imitates Life far too closely?
  8. Look who is at the Yankees game tonight…. Ariana is living a hell of a better life than the nincompoop she left behind.
  9. A close friend took his then ten year old son to Egypt. Your experience was the same as my friend’s.
  10. Married to a retired chef. Here is how it works. There may be tons of jobs, but they mostly pay poorly and the work is hard. I believe Robert had his own operations. That makes the hours even worse. Hubby left the hospitality business over 20 years ago, when he married the first time, and went to corporate chef’ing. All for better hours - he won’t even talk about Mother’s Day, Easter or Thanksgiving, when he was doing 20-hour days. He has left the business entirely and is earning twice what he earned as a chef. It is a thankless job and a job for a young person.
  11. Most of them women’s outfits will look awful, while sitting.
  12. Plenty of reasons. One is medical. One of my closest friends died from AIDS complications back in the 90s. Gay marriage wasn’t a thing yet, so his partner could not be with him when he died. My friend’s parents, who had rejected my friend when he came out, had to make the medical decisions and left his partner out of everything. That is probably the biggest reason.
  13. The hypocrisy is complete. He kept her because she was easier to let go in the finale than Ariel. I have seen this pattern before. Now, Gabi knows all of it.
  14. Kaity won the game, but I don’t think she won the prize.
  15. Sorry, but his honor was more important than hers. He is scum. She will never be able to live this down. How will she ever be able to trust anyone?
  16. We have to stop thinking they care. They don’t. They will continue to do what they do. There will be no repercussions. They will likely be rewarded for this. Probably a spinoff.
  17. They are entirely too dependent on Mom for their sustenance. I've never seen/heard a single one of them express any desire to leave the compound. Not once.
  18. And that's precisely why he doesn't fit in with this crowd. He's way too good for them.
  19. I'm really wondering whether the show will be interesting enough to warrant coming back to the next season. The whole thing with Jen was just so poorly handled and bringing Mary back isn't going to make the show any better.
  20. If my partner of a dozen years did to me what was done to Ariana, murder would be the ONLY thing on my mind. I would want to go out of my way to hurt the two perpetrators as badly as I could. Ariana didn't deserve any of this. That Tom could do this to her speaks more of his character (and Raquel's) than it does of Ariana's.
  21. I say this with all these reunions and stuff. It's wonderful that the outfit looks great when you're looking in a mirror, but take a seat. All these reunions are sitting, not standing. If the outfit doesn't look good sitting down, it's the wrong outfit. Period.
  22. She was at work - he was texting her to have a good day at work shortly after he arrived.
  23. I happened to watch WWHL on Wednesday night when Lisa and Ken were on. Ken actually said something along the lines of what's wrong with him, given that Raquel has had just about all the guys on VPR... It was pretty funny. Don't forget Kristen. Hell, at this point, may's well bring back Jax.
  24. Now being from the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, I can say I have been to a twin cities trip before. Walked the Chain Bridge from Pest to Buda and back. That trip just showed up on my FB memories. 11 years ago, this week.
  25. I had one of these dolls as a kid….
