  1. Yeah...I've had a few undies in my day I'd throw at him...directly in line with his image of luxury.
  2. No explanation offered. Articles stated the same. I believe the actress for Sandy had other engagements with work. Pandemic delays presumably also caused filming conflicts with the Roxy actress & shrink actor too who didn't return. Amicable terms...just didn't work out and the Roxy and Pat plotline had run its course.
  3. I thought it was a perfect ending to a wonderful show. I finished it last night & woke this morning sort of haunted thinking about it & that's how I know it was truly impactful. The writing is so good in this entire series. Ricky Gervais brings up so many thoughts (I don't know about others here but..) that I have had about life in general. I loved also how he questioned his own constant teasing toward Lisa about no heaven or angels, wondering if it robbed her of something making her scared of death as she met her end eventually. I appreciated that realization. I'll miss the show- but immediately went back and rewatched S1 ep 1 to go back to origins after consuming season 3 and I felt good about that. I'll pop in & catch episodes here and there whenever there's nothing else on because it's just that good. I did miss Sandy and Roxy. Not so much the shrink.
  4. I actually said that the clothes Vanessa picked for Debbie were *her* (Vanessa's) taste & she was probably hoping to borrow or take them after Debbie was done. And obviously Vanessa picked the boutique so that's probably where she shops. And a BLACK bra under a white bodysuit?! Nope. The platform heels on date outfit #2 when Deb got stood up, were really high. I'm not yet 40 and they're too high for me -nevermind a 69 year Debbie. That's why I had a theory that she was never intended to leave the house in them. Just my conspiracy theory💁🏼‍♀️
  5. Ugh please get Jesse off the show. He is so annoying and disgusting. Not handsome. Not suave. Nothing redeeming here. He hasn't had sex with anyone but himself in probably 20 years. Admit it. Natalie, I have no words. Just crazy. Not a model so give up. Big Ed's new makeover is working better but there's nothing to be done about his short....comings...? At least looks like he's not going for 25 year olds exclusively. Why are we following mother Debbie's dating adventures? She's not a 90-day'er. Better than Coltee I guess?? Stefanie- annoying.
  6. A dull season with pretty cookie-cutter personalities. I’ve said it before & will say it again- we will never replicate the 1st, 2nd & 3rd seasons. Wes is alright. He would probably be best with a different crew. & maybe (I wish) we would see him on BDSY as he’s more into sailing.
  7. I began the season liking Jess & sort of disliking Heather. I'm seeing Jess now. It all makes sense. She is grandma/grandpa's only one and she lives with them in a retirement lifestyle in FL. She took cosmetology for time-killer purposes. Presumably to also get out of her grands' hair for a while while they're still mobile and capable of having their own life. She doesn't have a career or definitive plans for one because she doesn't need it. She likely stands to inherit everything from her grandparents as she stops everything to care for them when they reach their ultimate twilight stage. Yachting (like cosmetology) are 1. VERY personality driven and interactive fields where you need to be sociable and 2. Require tons of manual labor. Jess is not ever going to be fully invested in any "career" because they're pocket-change & time filler for her. Fine for her but to the detriment of her colleagues and if she does hair/skin/nails, her CLIENTS. I have not wavered on Fraser because I do like him. I don't think he's really a meanie beyond the venting anyone would do. He doesn't have patience for the type of energy Jess brings. I do respect Jess not giving up the job though. She certainly gave off that she could've walked away and been fine- like any hobby. Please stop the Jake cliffgangers & upcoming scenes. We get it. He's a boy toy. But I doubt Heather will leave a former primary for a "lead deckhand."
  8. Not many people watching or too soon to post? I watch this on peacock so I don't know when it airs. Monday nights ? I just catch it when nothing else is on. How's the show doing in general? Do we think it'll survive another season?
  9. Wes and Jess are kind of cute in a seemingly compatible way. Down-to-Earth and cute. But 2 hours 20 min into her break, maybe Jess is just like me. I'm a SLOW eater. I like to decompress before just eating & going to bed. Glad Jess went to the beach to help out for a bit. Sick of just seeing her in the laundry which is not only boring to see or live but because she's never going to expand her experience/credibility/resume by remaining stagnant in the laundry. If she likes it so much & doesn't want to leave the laundry room, then maybe it's just a very poor choice of job for her. Not career because obviously it's just a JOB for quick cash. I don't see this as fair for everyone else since they get the same tip.
  10. Yes agree but I still think Erika is easier on Garcelle because she is an ACTUAL movie star! She sees Sutton as nobody that can connect her to stardom. Just a sort of meek woman who got a crap ton of $$ from a divorce settlement and for thr most part is kinda matronly. Garcelle doesn't seem to have a dog in this fight but we can all read the writing on the wall that she is not buying it.
  11. Fraser: "I'm having a hard time doing EVERYTHING at 100%..." Heather: "Right....right....well we have to step up. There's no room for error. So just keep doing EVERYTHING..." hmmmm kayyyy. Good talk. She's not all that. 25 yr old "chief stew" indeed. Why do I feel she just hung herself with the comment that she's in a relationship with a former guest. She remains to prove herself in my eyes. Rayna- NO. Step AWAY from the ugly mustache.
  12. Unfortunately I find it to be horribly fake. I mean, really. & it's consistently the same level of like a drunken bender 3-day no-shave. Not feeling it. Then again I find the actor himself to be generally unattractive. Sorry I'm sure he's a nice enough guy but I'm not into his looks nor do I believe all these ladies would be chasing after him. In college, I wouldn't look 2x at that guy. Just saying. The timeline distinction looks come off totally costumey.
  13. Oh man!!! That's why Joe doesn't make decisions! Because he feels like his decision not to go to the baseball or whatever game made his dad go to work & also the uncle probably went in his stead so he likely also has some element of survivor's guilt. So. Sad. I don't blame him for having these issues. But decisions can lead to a lot of outcomes in life & we do have to accept what is even though it's difficult many times.
  14. Ok...who is the one that decides the camera operation? Director? Cinematographer? Editor? Idk... but these family discussions where a character says ONE WORD & the camera has to flash to that person is TRULY DIZZYING. The drama of this show has definitely sucked me in but the camera work is noticeably shoddy. I really do get sort of headachey when I watch it. Maybe it's the fast pace they're also utilizing to squeeze in all three plotlines? I don't know if this show will make it past one season.
  15. RIP Captain Mark. Gone too soon😪Just a laid back man. I really liked him.
  16. This beeyatch Olivia is sooo over Ethan, it's palpable. She's got another option out there (speaking mate-wise) & she's trying to squirm away from Ethan. Reminds me of myself at 20 yrs old too emotionally immature to break up with someone OFICIALLY. Difference is, they're MARRIED!!!! "Just be friends for now"?! Wtf?! So dumb! Ethan, go therapy & start looking for your soul mate.
  17. Yes! I get lost on the names sometimes and the cast keeps growing. I ❤ Ronan. I like Domhnall Gleeson and have a soft spot for cute gingers so he's like a spectrum-version of Gleeson. Dinosaur guy was like a heartbreaker. He was so honest and always letting down the girls haha I guess someone told him that ghosting a date is rude and he took it to the other extreme. Better that than the other way. I like that he was coupled with someone from the show, too. I like Michael. I love how you can read his thoughts immediately based on his expression. His mom is so sweet! She gets such joy out of him. Jayden is my newcomer favorite. He's so interesting. I'm not too big on Teo. I don't think her next date with the girl will go well (haven't seen yet). Teo is a tad pushy.
  18. Anyone back yet?? Season 2 is here & I'm like 4 episodes in! Very good. I don't think these young men & women have let the fame go to their heads so that's good. Some newbies here too. Enjoyable.
  19. Kim is a bad person. Period. And meatballs...FROZEN....from a BAG....from (probably) WALMART?!?!?! Jesus wept. I am no chef by a long shot but have made my share of homemade meatballs and never would I ever make frozen meatballs. There's a lot I'll make from the freezer but meatballs ain't it. And no, I'm not Italian. Just human. Apologies to anyone who uses frozen meatballs. Nothing personal. I just really don't like Kim. And she seems lazy AF. What does she do or eat or NOT eat to maintain her physique? Ethan- I feel so sorry for him. He deserves to have the life he wants, working on cars and doing what makes him happy. It's nothing destructive. Olivia should know what pieces of crap are out there and learn appreciation and compromise with Ethan. A city life is not for some people & rural not for others. It's a fundamental difference that couples need to see eye to eye on before even getting married. Hell!! "What environment do you prefer living in" isn't even a distasteful first date question. It's a "getting to know you" question. Yes- Olivia has changed and that's not the marriage Ethan signed up for. It was a bait & switch in a way. People change but you have to compromise & change together over s longer period of time. Not like 2-3 yrs into a marriage or whatever they are.
  20. I mean...there's still always Joao...? Lexi has a very specific distaste for chef Mathew. She definitely trampled her opportunity at redemption amongst the laid back crew. But Mathew is pretty skeevy & rubs Lexi the wrong way. She is horrible in her own right also. I believe not a person on earth could get along well with her.
  21. I feel like it's official Delaney has now spent more social /partying time with the crew than working hours. Lexi meanwhile is seemingly starting to separate from the group even more than ever. I sense a Delaney /Lexi switch-off.
  22. Yes. I also caught Moriah calling Max her "husband." And they're all over each other at all times. Could they have eloped? Is that why the Ethan/Olivia meet was awkward? Just strange how they were raised strict & Moriah is still accepted by her parents while she moved out and appears very physical with Max. Olivia was spot on with her feelings of slight bitterness that Max is accepted and *she* is not. I can relate in some way because I've seen these things happen. Maybe favoritism from parents (overlooking one child's perceived transgressions vs scrutinizing the other child's). Lydia. She giggles and squirms her way through the "texting boys" conversation. Reminds me of my nine year old daughter seeing people on tv kissing. She is very stunted for 17.
  23. I felt Bao was making a mountain out of a molehill with the snoring but anyway glad she communicated the hurt feelings. And yes, if you're working out properly & sweating, you need a shower. If I'm *that* tired though, I skip the workout that day. Unless you've been covered in sweat or done something intense or dirty, there are times you could skip the shower. Johnny should just see how it plays out & stop harping on it.
  24. Ummm WHY but WHYYYY do Rinna & Kyle jump up Erika's ass??!! They look like they're faking orgasms over everything that Erika has or does. wtf!? I hope they go down with the ship. That dyson is a stick vacuum. Meant for small clean ups, not for the whole house. I "vacuum" every day if that's called vacuuming. And what does not having sex have to do with cleaning your house? Umm hmmkayyy. She tries to say things to shock but they make no sense. She's so stupid. Did Rinna spawn's boy toy just make a crack about there being a ji** stain on the grandmother's wedding gown??!! Umm that's where I'd dump him never to see him again. What an arrogant pri**. And Rinna praising her kids like they solved a world crisis like clean drinking water or something just because they achieved puberty and fit in her gowns now and buy cars for their boy toys is just so tone deaf and beyond. These folks are what's wrong with the world.
  25. Loved this episode. I'm loving Gil the more I see of him. He's such an easygoing person which shows his maturity. I liked what he said about politics though I think it would be the exception & extremely rare for two opposing political minds to get along. But when Myrla said "it's not about the self," I hope Gil throws that in her face on every opportunity he gets. She seems very much about the self. Gil is a firefighter which is opposite of "the self." We'll see. I don't think they're hopeless yet. Ryan doesn't want babies. He just thinks it's what gets the ladies going. It's also his way of saying "when we have sex, it WILL be unprotected." Johnny stranded out there in the middle of the sea (as I understand there was no imminent danger because HELLO- TV show), was hilarious.
