S05.E11: Back To Square One
Kdawg82 replied to greekmom's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days
What is wrong with Mahogany's hair?? Is it just the worst haircut ever given or is it bad extensions? It doesn't look like extensions. The hilights are kind of bad, too so maybe the same person did her whole head jacked up? -
Vanessa & especially Nick Lachey are a national treasure. I can't appreciate that man more. "Crashed harder than Sal dropping Mal at the beach"...classic!

Mark is so sweet. His reaction to sushi in general was awesome (as a person who doesn't eat sushi). We're missing a lot though where they have a brutal fight and then it sort of glazes over and moves on. I guess they make up off camera? I think Mark is smart & knows eventually Lindsay will see herself on TV and she'll see how dirty she fights and manic she can appear. Jasmina has Michael's number. I believe she is a classy and decent woman and she will not be mistreated. I find it difficult to NOT be on her side. Maybe an unpopular opinion but there is something to what she is feeling and experiencing. We may not be seeing it all. I'm inclined to believe her. Olajuwaun needs to relax a little. I think generally most grown adults like to live in a clean home. I see his disappointment being very real when Katina doesn't keep the apartment clean. HOWEVER, I find it a little inappropriate to keep equating it with being "a wife." A partner, husband, friend, roommate, son/daughter, parent= all those things that it could be expected from. If Katina isn't an Award-winning chef, so be it. Cooking maybe isn't her passion. It's not mine. My husband does pretty much all the cooking. My cooking is passable at best. In the words of crocodile Dundee "you can live on it, but it tastes like sh**." But my husband loves me. We compliment each other well & he always reminds me what a good wife I am. So no, cooking is not EVERYTHING & it's not all a "wifely" duty."

This is a legitimate question to all of YOU watching this & in the world: Do people really speak this way? "I fu**ing love you," "I'm so fu**ing happy," "you're going to be my fu**ing wife," "you fu**ing make me so happy." I really wonder. I've never heard the use of the "f" word in such contexts. Usually anger or passion of some sort. But using the word in proposals or expressions of love or so casually etc is weird and cringe to me

Oh man! I'm in tears watching Deepti & her mom when she made her decision. I wish I had a mom like that. Well, Deepti deserves such nice parents. But that mom is just a straight up GOOD WOMAN. Shake came off as a little punk. Sorry. Just a punk. I'd say bi**h but that's an insult to all bi**h's out here.

S12.E05: Jersey Shore Showdown
Kdawg82 replied to TexasGal's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Yeah!! To me, it was like Jackie prepared Evan for the fact that the E.D. would continue to be her storyline (not to belittle it was real and her own struggle but nonetheless...) and he's just not a good actor. So, he did the best he could just nodding through the lunch because he has lived with this for 15+ years and it's not new news to him. That's the same for most of the "couples." The guy just sits through the speech about what the wife or whoever went through to introduce the audience to this. It's like the storyline with children also (looking @ you Rinna). -

I know a few people who would be considered fairly rich by normal standards and none of them are particularly smart. I feel like a large percentage is luck & the rest immorality. I'm fine where I am😉 We all should be if this is what "rich" looks like. -
S12.E04: Shady Down the Shore
Kdawg82 replied to TexasGal's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I know none of these women are really "old." I'm close to Jackie's age. I'm athletic & physically fit. I work out every day. But fist fighting...? That's a nope. I only try to be fit enough to protect myself from *real* danger. I just figure after a certain point, you don't posture & stick your glued on talons in "friends" /acquaintances' faces in bars. This behavior is tacky. Further, I can't even keep track of who disliked who at this point. Last I checked, Melissa, Marge & Jackie were against Jennifer. Delores? idk where she stood except Tre's side. Tre for her part is in her own Louis world. She barely looks up from her phone to get involved. I don't know who else is on the show. It's so contrived. If bored I'll catch it but it's annoying at this point -

Oh rough and tumble Delores from Paterson...that's so annoying. I typically liked Delores. But what's a 50+ yr old woman going to do in a fist fight? Oh, knock down an eating disordered woman who's also up there in age? How, HOW did Delores hold down a county job with a record with fights etc? I guess her dad's cop connections. Idk about anyone else but being out there looking for work now, I see that you get picked apart inside out for any mark on your record. Even having no mark in your record, you get a mark. 🤯 oh the good old days. -
S14.E06: Dark Side of the Honeymoon
Kdawg82 replied to CSunshine76's topic in Married At First Sight
Yes! My husband and I keep saying she needs meds or to up her meds or change them if she's on them. She has a clear and apparent problem. When she has no valid rebuttal, her speech gets very calculated and stunted right before she states her intention to walk away right there and then. -
Yeah the thing is with Gino- he must have mental problems (if it's not all just hired actors with a storyline). Who does that?! And not only that but, she should sue him. Nudes are nudes but taking away someone's rights to them? That's bad. They could be all over the net especially after Jasmine gains some fandom, they could be sold. Ben- God isn't "in this." Not even in the vicinity of this. Take all your $ resources and put it into your life and your CHILDREN who I'm sure can use it. P.s. Ben's wife was more attractive when we saw her than in her pics from the past. Ben seems to be a predator at this point. Find a nice 50 year old to settle down with. The world is full of them. Did he have a bad botox job or something? Because his right eye droops. I wonder what happened there. Ximena must be on the expressway to America. Idk. I think she barely tolerates or can look at Mike. He seems nice enough but I don't think this is going to work out. The previews seem to show a shallowness that will emerge from X.

90 Day: The Single Life

So much talk about Lindsay and drinking. I don't think she was drunk necessarily. She was possibly socially lubricated and just being HERSELF. This is how she seems to be. 200% at all times. Mark mis spoke about not being "lovey dovey" anymore and scaling back. He got some feedback from the men at the beach, no doubt . Lindsay told him about Katina after the beach day. Mark was startled by her ways and yes he wants to scale back but didn't communicate effectively. He's intimidated by her. She had a biting reply to him after and I can not say it wasn't a clever retort. "How far back do you want to go" indeed. "Ask me for a date." Yup. He was not wrong in his feelings only in his delivery. I'm team Jasmina. I'm team Chris. Alyssa please change your heart. I don't care much about the other 2 couples. Not interesting yet.

90 Day: The Single Life
Kdawg82 replied to Leilani's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Other Spinoffs & Specials
Oh man! You just reminded me! I knew a kid with big Ed's condition in college. Literally the physical appearance was same. He was a kind of "nerd" as one might call it...I struggled big time with math so he offered to tutor me. As I recall, I was paying him. When I didn't understand, I expressed it & he would start caressing my cheek & saying "it's ok." Yeah I never took him up on that tutoring ever again. B. E. is of course gross & desperate but Liz is same so like his ex friend said "perfect for each other. " -
Your post 💯. That's all I'm saying. It is rushed. This feels like a knockoff of the show it once was. We've become invested in these characters only to be played for fools with these beyond the pale episodes- basically monologuing towards the audience why, where, when, & how. These situations aren't plot twists or even clever. They're nonsense.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but...last season we had tackled the COVID situation pretty hardcore with masks and births with only 1 person in the room & mentions of being vaccinated. This year, TIU has seemingly forgotten all about COVID. Are they giving up on the virus like the rest of the world seems to be? Deja sitting on the public transportation system chatting up an elderly woman inches from her face? That's not really a reality yet -I mean...right? Sorry if I'm in the wrong place. Maybe this belongs in the forum for logistics and time period references etc . I just felt like they could deal with this a little as it applies to reality we're in. They get relief in the future time period & the past. They seem to be dealing with the fact it's the final season plenty by having multiple characters reference "look where we were 5 years ago." It was annoying. I mean who references where they were as an entire family 5 years ago unless something major happened legit 5 years ago?

90 Day: The Single Life
Kdawg82 replied to Leilani's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Other Spinoffs & Specials
Does anyone still really believe Jesse & Jennifer are together??!! I can't buy it. Not at all. Very sad about Teddy. But why does Ed have to rush into some grand love story at all times??! He was single for many years so leave it to destiny to meet someone. I really liked the Mexican lady. Something about her was really nice and authentic. She seemed so chill. That was never going to fly with Ed's personality. I'd like to hang out with her though. She would be a good friend. Natalie is BSC🤪👀 Her walk. Her jittery movements. Everything. Just no. Mother Debbie was very cute in the date with the new guy. -

I liked when Elijah trolled Caleb. Sorry. I don't like Caleb. I think Elijah has his number as a gaslighting pr**k. They're all thirsty so no matter but yeah. -
Yeah! Watching this, it is very cult-like. That's what I said last night when I watched the 1st half season 2. & The fact that so many of these kids come from severely damaged backgrounds and find refuge in this expensive, time-consuming TEAM sport where youre a cog in the machine and can blend in relatively anonymously as personality goes is alarming. Also alarming is the semi less dysfunctional parent who has custody just worshipping at the church of cheer led by the high priest or priestess almighty coach. It's not only cheer but watching the documentary "Althete A" and the Jerry episode on season 2 here, it delves into the abuse that is covered up massively. My opinion: It's a sport. It's not that serious. These are precious children. They need to be valued as individuals and as SOULS. This is nuts.

Lindsay is coming across SO low class. I felt for her for the mother issue because I have experienced that but she is EXHAUSTING. Light-hearted was NOT how I'd describe her. There's a heaviness & anxiety she brings into the atmosphere. -

Haha. I said it looks like a cruise ship! The outside courtyard thing reminded me of Oasis of the Seas on Royal Caribbean. -
Noella Bergener
Kdawg82 replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
Oh right Noella, your husband lavishes you in this luxury lifestyle because of "the blowjobs." Gross. Well maybe it's like most wealthy, powerful men, just your ability to turn a blind eye when he's getting the blowjobs & more from everywhere else. If these women really think that they will keep a guy satisfied with just the one woman for the rest of his life, they're delusional . I didn't see more than the 1st episode so far and haven't even finished it but that's my assessment so far. -
RE: Grief IDK how Ricky researched widowhood or where he drew inspiration for his character but I felt so much of this character. In terms of the way he described living two lives...one where you're getting on with life & things are almost normal then the second one where you realize the person you love is dead and not coming back and it sort of hits you like a ton of bricks....wow. I mean, I really respect a lot of the writing for dialogue and the emotions.

MAFS Social Media, Spoilers & Speculation
Kdawg82 replied to Bella's topic in Married At First Sight
I SAID that out loud to my husband!!! I was like whoaaa! Yikessss. She was rough around the edges. But that's also probably a byproduct of being subservient to your vain daughter all your life. She probably is the one that takes care of all the fostered dogs while Alyssa is out getting more injectables etc. And Alyssa honey- you need a chin implant. Not to go on looks but she appears to have been the ugly duckling as a kid then any redeeming appearances she has now are solely bought. Not a natural beauty. I'm only going there because the way she presumably will treat her spouse. -

Kdawg82 replied to Bella's topic in Married At First Sight
Can't be fooled by Alyssa's animal rescue storyline. The amount of cosmetic injectables, etc happening and the girlfriends and the Chris Jenner-esque vibe of her mom "oh look at us, a group of girlfriends!!" attitude is just telling. I knew immediately it wasn't going to work. Sorry but she seemed vain from the jump.
