  1. I'm trying to creep on their registries and the Amazon one looks way different. There's two listed, one is "empty" and the other has mostly gift certificates, and iPad, Macbook, and a few random things. Do you think people made a fake one to scam fans or something? This is really kind of sketchy. The BB&B one is the same. And just what are they going to do with all of these appliances? Most of them will never leave the box, yet people bought them up.
  2. I agree with this. Or, have Aunt Jana come and visit. Permanently. It's wedding day, isn't it? Woop! ETA: I am an idiot. I thought today was Saturday!!
  3. I actually thought it was possible that one of the employees did it, actually. I was on reddit reading about working in a hotel (I want to be a hotelier one day) and people who had previously worked in hotels mentioned that they sometimes used empty rooms for sleeping, sex, pooping in peace, etc. When I saw it, my thought was that someone had poo'ed and then the toilet clogged, but they didn't clean up after themselves or something. Those owners were some of the most sympathetic I've seen on the show, but honestly, I would never be afraid to relocate or even fire an employee. I will say, though, kudos to the employees for taking it in stride. Or maybe they figured once the cameras were gone they'd have their old jobs back? Let's hope not. The Woodstock Hotel was absolutely awful. I can see Carlo being very stubborn and not letting anyone fix up the place. My grandfather was a plumber but wouldn't put running water in his/my grandmother's house because "if it was good enough for my mother, it's good enough for you". Such mules exist, believe it or not.
  4. I can't help but feel like it would be sickly satisfying if Ellie's husband killed Danny. If Danny and Tom were involved with drugs or something, Ellie's husband (Joe?) might have overheard the boys talking, sought Danny ought at the Wilderness thing to threaten him, and accidentally killed him, then threw him off the cliff. Ellie would be shattered and I would laugh because I hate her and it would prove that she is, in fact, clueless and a horrible police officer who doesn't deserve the job she has let alone a promotion.
  5. I cracked up when I saw his face. A child's murder doesn't stop him as much as a dinner invitation. I disagree. Beth is my favorite character because I think she's the "realest". It's hard to tell how one would act in a similar situation, but I think I'd be like Beth. I think she's crazy with grief and everything in her life is topsy-turvy now, nothing is how she thought it was. I do agree about the town of creeps, though. Gracepoint seems to have more than average for a town of that size. Agree with you completely. If I was Beth, I'd become unhinged pretty quickly. And kudos on Agatha Christie - she's my absolute favorite author of all time, which people think is strange (I think because I'm 23?).
  6. I don't know what it is about her, either, but I was hoping Dandy would get her. Unfortunately, I think she's here to stay.
  7. I never thought I'd ever feel sorry for Twisty, but I (kind of) did. I am so glad the kids got away. I thought for sure Jessie's brother would be killed and I was pleased he wasn't. I do think, though, that once Dandy gets to killing more, and I think he will, that the town people will go back to scorning the freaks and may even think Jimmy did it and killed Twisty to cover himself up. Other than that, nothing much to say. I am annoyed by Emma Roberts in general, so her character is obnoxious to me. I was hoping she'd get an ax to the back or something, but maybe something nefarious is in the works. ETA: I am not a fan of Elsa. I really think they wasted Jessica Lange as this character. All she does is interrupt the really interesting parts, IMO.
  8. My 12 year old sister said the exact thing! She thought she (Judith) would be moist and tender, haha. I was like, say whaaat?!? When Gareth was doing his speech. "We can forget about this, blah blah blah". No way, boy. you had you chance to walk away and live merrily eating rabbits. You had to make your life more difficult (and end) so there. I got the feeling Daryl was talking to a child, but after reading others' responses, I think it's probably Morgan. I was hoping they'd draw it out a bit more, but I like Morgan so it's ok. I think he may have gone a little off the deep end, though, but really, who hasn't/wouldn't? Maybe Beth's going to be a baby factory in some dystopian town. Those are the kind of feelings I got. Carl is so badass. I love him now he's not the annoying little kid or the psycho shoot-everyone-on-site dude. I'm really, really gonna miss Maggie and especially Glenn. Glenn has always been my favorite. The show won't feel the same with them not with the group. :(
  9. Poor, poor Ethel. She really is my favorite character. Ma Petite jumping and scaring the tallest lady was hilarious. I had myself a good chuckle. Dandy reminds me of Tom Riddle in appearance, haha. I am so scared for Bonnie and the boy. It breaks my heart every time I see them. Strangely enough, I'm more scared for them when Dandy's in there. Maid Dora takes zero shit. I love it! Scam's a-coming. Emma Roberts involved. Surprised? No. Bette and Dot are awesome. I love their interactions.
  10. Came back to say I just rewatched Season 5's trailers and it looks to me that all of the shots were in the first episode. Their editing made it seem different than it actually was. Edit - I meant the first and second episodes, not just the first one.
  11. I just had a random thought. If Jesus-Car took Beth when she was travelling with Daryl, maybe they purposefully led the walkers there as an ambush and then took Beth because they thought Daryl was keeping her for some unsavory things? Maybe we'll find out that they're taking people to an actual safe place. The next time we see her, she'll be sitting in a circle of children teaching them how to read. That's the perfect place for Beth.
  12. That's exactly what I thought - are we back at the farm? haha
  13. Well, that was terrifying. I'm intensely curious about Mr Preacher Man. My madre thinks he has something to do with Beth. I think he probably turned people into the Terminus crew in turn for protection maybe? Food bank scene was really gross. I always forget not to eat during this show. Happens every week.
  14. Loved this episode. I thank the stars above they didn't drag out the escape like I thought they would. Tyreese kicked some ass (finally!) - good for him. Judith is absolutely adorable. Carol is a bamf and we all know it. Now the group does, too. Carl. He's a stand up dude. Not too much from him but glad to see he believes in his dear old dad again. Flashbacks made me feel bad for the Termites. Don't forgive them, though. How does that turn one into a cannibal? I understand killing others for protection, but cannibal? Agree with PP about Eugene - I don't think he knows anything at all. I'm also curious about the two with him (forgetting names right now). They obviously have some secret. Maybe the three of them are making it up so the group will go along with them? Maybe they want to go to DC for some other reason? (Though, living in the metro of DC, I can tell you they're going to have Zombies galore on the way and when they get there. Doesn't anyone seem to realize this???) I have more to say, but I forget. :/
  15. Dandy reminds me of my brother. I guess that's not a good thing for my brother. Loving Desiree. Her description of her "freakiness" had me rolling. Elsa: "And that makes you?" Strong Man: "The happiest man alive." I cracked up. I like the story line of Desiree - Strongman - Lobster Boy - Bearded Lady. Poor Bonnie and kiddo. I'm rooting for them. She's thinking better than I would be in that situation. I agree with PP - not much hope now that Dandy has joined the team, but I anticipate the pairing doesn't go so well and one of them dies. Jessica Lange's character is the same as always. She's the most boring part to me, which is a shame. I did feel bad for Meep, head-biting and all. :(
  16. She sounds just like 50s-era Baltimore. My stepdad grew up in Baltimore in that time and that's how he talks.
  17. Can I just say, wow. Wowee. I am in love with this season already. I love this show, all seasons of it, but this one is different and edgey in a way I don't think we've seen so far. I am in awe of the characters. They are absolutely perfect. And Kathy Bates' character? Absolute favorite. She's gonna rock this role. The clown is going to be quite interesting. He's so creepy and terrifying I had to pull the curtains back on the shower before I could go further into the bathroom. They absolutely nailed this. I have high expectations for the rest and will certainly be hanging in for the long haul (as usual).
  18. I disagree. I thought it was elegant and made her seem mature, in a good way. Did anyone catch Jana's "I can sew, but so can a few other girls. I don't really know why I was asked and not them" or something of that nature? I cracked up.
  19. I know that. My point was, enough people in Myopia are going to put Bri on the chopping block. Two others will be nominated and of the three, one will be sent home. I'm trying to say that I voted for Aaron because so many others already voted for Bri, including, apparently, most of the Topes.
  20. I think nominating Bri is a waste of a vote for viewers, personally, because it seems she'll be in the bottom 3 anyway. I picked Aaron. I can't handle the intimidation, the lies, the blatant disrespect, and the smugness as he starves people and uses food to get his way. Play the game however you want, just don't go out of your way to actually harm people. I feel like the folks on the show see this and don't follow through because they want the conversation to be over or his intimidation tactics work. I'm scared for Bella and Nikki, I truly am.
  21. Going back a bit, but I have the under-eye bruising, too. Generally, it's from allergies (more specifically, food intolerances). It sucks majorly, but when I cut dairy and gluten, mine lighten drastically.
  22. This breaks my heart. As if Jordyn wasn't already shafted enough. :( Poor kid.
  23. I can't help but feel soryr for some of them, too. Part of me wonders what would happen if they threw in a rational, normal human being as the next replacement. But, as we saw with Rhonda, they will not vote in a rational, normal human being. Forgive me, but what is this "Jokers" thing people keep talking about?
  24. What a trainwreck. I can't handle these people. So, I will keep watching.
  25. That's what I was thinking. In Duggarland, Anna walking with a man other than her husband might cause infidelity. *insert barf here*
