Jill's due date is Tuesday and still no baby. I'm salty I didn't win the baby pool.

I am so sick of Jim Bob's inappropriate behavior and comments. What a hypocrite! It seriously enrages me. Stop trying to teach your kids how to kiss. That's disgusting. I hope your kids don't visit you. Too bad you brainwashed them!!!! I'm in a hating-on-JBoob mood right now.

This has been my experience (with my sister) as well. The only ones who had the genetic testing were the ones who had trouble staying pregnant or were at an "advanced maternal age".

That cracked me up. He's such a cutie. I'm with Alyssa on the waiting a bit for the crowd to come down. She said she wouldn't mind them coming down in 2s and 3s as long as her parents came down first. I think that was nice of her. ETA: It's so strange how different Erin's voice is now. I can't believe it's the same woman.

It's strange to me how different the accents in this family are. Everyone has varying degrees of a drawl and it cracks me up.

I loved Sassy Grandma. She reminded me so much of my own! I also really loved the relationship between Grandparents Bateses. They seemed sweet. My sister suffered with fertility issues for several years and I know how hard it was for her to watch my cousin get pregnant over and over again while she had nothing. It's better now since my niece was born, but she's still sad about it. I can't fault Jenny for feeling that way. I am glad that she was able to bond with Erin over it so at least Erin has someone she knows to talk to about stuff like that. I think her mother would listen to her, but it's not the same when she can get pregnant so quickly. Jeb and the bucket were adorable! I loved how natural it appeared when Gil swung him up on his shoulders. I don't think we'd ever see The Boob with a kid on his shoulders. I think Alyssa has the capacity to take over Thanksgiving, seeing as she pretty much did it for Grandma, but I don't think she (or John) will want to.

I thought the trip to the music store was actually really sweet. Josh actually looked like he enjoyed the time he spent with Mac and Mike and the kids looked like they had a blast. It was nice to see that. And Mark is such a chunk! I really love those kids. I wish they would get speech therapy for Jordyn and Josie - I can't really understand much of what they say - but, knowing their parents, that'll never happen.

It makes me wonder how much he misses his own family. He is the oldest of 7, IIRC, and it seems his family is closer than the Duggars, not like it's that difficult, but you know what I mean. I wonder if he misses his siblings. I bet he does.

Sonequa is talking about Maggie/Sasha's sunrise brouhaha. I think that was a beautiful part of the series until it was ruined by the dude who reminds me of a serial rapist.

I agree. There's something beautiful in the human spirit, whether it'd be the deepest despair or a fleeting smile. This new dude is bad news bears. I'm afraid.
