Erin and Chad: Fifty Shades of Pink
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Bringing Up Bates
I really adore Chad, despite his religious leanings. I liked that, in the gardening episode, all of the Bateses said they call him for everything. He's willing to help out when he can. He's a sweet guy, I think, and he and Erin seem to go well together. I was worried at first because I thought it might be a case of too-good-to-be-true, but I think he loves and, furthermore, respects Erin, which is something many others in their sect may not get. Good for them. -
Zach and Whitney: The Constable and the Carhop
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Bringing Up Bates
I just checked out their baby registry (don't know if it's the real one, but there's one on BRU) and they only got 5 things. I'm actually surprised about that, but it seemed like they got the usual shower gifts (clothes and diapers). I had thought every single thing of her (quite modest) registry would have been purchased. That's enough parentheses (for now). -
Meet the Parents: Gil and Kelly Jo Bates
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Bringing Up Bates
Thank God Gil doesn't make all the sexual innuendos (or straight up sex talk). I wonder if we'll see them dry humping at a mini-golf course. -
Jill, Derick & the Kids: Moving On!!
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Chris Knight's topic in Counting On
That picture looks odd, like it might be photoshopped. I'm not saying it is, but it looks like it to me. -
I couldn't stop laughing for a while after seeing that one. I thought it was hilarious. I really like her and feel like I would be her friend IRL. I was doubtful when she said she was going to go back to Chicago, but I was pleased when she said she changed her mind because she realized it was for the wrong reasons.

19 Things I Hate About You: How the Duggars Infuriate
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Ljohnson1987's topic in Counting On
Why do all the Duggars (especially JD and Josh) wear college sports stuff (tees, hats, etc) constantly? They've never gone to college. This seems sad to me, like they want to go but know JB would never let them. -
I still think it's Joe. I think the person coming out of the hut thing was probably a red herring, but Joe was probably out of the house. He left the boys home alone, Tom saw him leave and decided to destroy the laptop thingydoodle. Maybe Tom and Danny got into a fight and Tom hurt Danny, thinking he killed him (then Tom acts weird and does all sorts of sketchy things trying to "cover it up"). Joe is actually the killer, maybe he followed Tom that night and covered up for him. Maybe Tom actually did kill Danny, panicked, and left the body. Joe covered it up by putting the body on the beach, he feels super guilty about it but isn't willing to risk his son for it. I don't know, I'm tired, but the second idea sounds good to me.

The Other Duggars: The Lost Girls and Amy
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Ljohnson1987's topic in Counting On
Rewatching the Jessa's proposal episode, Joy and Ben seem to have more chemistry than I thought! I remember someone posted that maybe he was intended for Joy and JBoob steered him toward Jessa. I'm wondering if that's true after all. She seemed to flirt it up when she was doing his hair. Hmm... -
Speculation Without Spoilers
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to ghoulina's topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
I predict she will find out before he dies, try to come up with a cute idea to tell him, and then Glenn dies before she gets a chance to actually tell him. That, or Glenn's mortally wounded and she whispers that she's pregnant right before his last breath. Cue tear drop running off Maggie's face onto Glenn's. -

I disagree. I think if Beth dies, then Glenn will, too. It will make for a lot of drama with Maggie, not to mention drive a she-has-no-one type of plot. Though she doesn't seem to be too upset about Beth being gone. -
S09.E16: DC Duggars Hit the Road
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to bigskygirl's topic in 19 Kids And Counting [V]
In the webisode where they introduced the baby, he swats at her, not to mention that he made her do it hours after giving birth (she looked great, btw, for just having a baby). You should watch a few of them. It's sickening. -

I agree. I have a suspicion it's Glenn, though, which would be sad for me, as he's my favorite. :( -
S09.E16: DC Duggars Hit the Road
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to bigskygirl's topic in 19 Kids And Counting [V]
You clearly don't live in G-burg, haha. Visitors are nuts. G-burg caters to what the tourists want and so death, destruction, and the incredibly specific specs on a canon are exactly what people come looking for. We have little else to offer. It keeps the town employed. I worked at an ice cream shop and people would randomly ask me questions. When I didn't know the answer, they'd scoff and say "you don't know enough about your town, why do you even live here". It's crazy. -
S09.E16: DC Duggars Hit the Road

THEY WERE 15 MINUTES AWAY FROM ME, AND I DIDN'T KNOW?!?!?!? I have let everyone down. I live near Gettysburg. :( I actually liked this episode, but cut the crap about the RV. I was so sick of hearing it. And the little blurb that said they spend #400 a year fixing it? I don't believe you. It's got to be more than that. I'm curious as to how economical it is to buy an older RV and have to sink money into it, versus a newer (but not new) RV. The kids were super cute. Kynzie in that Civil War - era dress!! So cute. And Marcus running around the biggest coffee pot melted my heart. Mikey marching around like a soldier?!?! SO CUTE! I cannot get over these children. Other than that, not much to say that hasn't already been said. -
Hotel Impossible - General Discussion
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Kromm's topic in Hotel Impossible
I'm not a fan of this designer. The only one I really like is Blanche and she's pretty talented, IMO, so it's hard to compare her to others. The hotel owner reminded me of Professor Trelawney from Harry Potter. I think it was the glasses/eyes and the hair, haha. I was completely surprised AM did stay on and help them, but I feel like it was half-assed because nobody wanted to. I would've just left, but maybe AM can't turn down a challenge? -
Past Seasons Talk: 7 Seasons and Counting
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to auntie thesis's topic in 19 Kids And Counting [V]
Glad it worked out for you!! I keep mine online - it's much easier that way. I don't think the chart was in a special, but was in the very first season of the ___ kids and counting (was it 16/17?) -
The Other Duggars: The Lost Girls and Amy
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Ljohnson1987's topic in Counting On
I wonder if this is because they're the most often overlooked kids? IMO, at least. I'm starting to really think that JD is playing a part and isn't the dumbo everyone thinks he is. He got out, has his own business, actually did what he wanted to in regards to occupation or maybe hobby (pilot). I'm not sure if he's courting but I'm sure he's probably been on a date or two. I think he's totally done with this business and keeps up appearances so no one else is the wiser. If it's true, good for him. I don't know why people hate on him so much, except for his immaturity, but honestly, as I said before, I think it's an act. -
I don't have much to add that people haven't already said, but Mrs. Dandy's mom nailed it. She has the character development that usually takes a whole season in just a few episodes. I love how she talked about Dandy's father and when she saw Dora's body, she didn't take any more of Dandy's shit. Great episode. Knew you guys would love Dandy/ Matt B, haha

Hotel Impossible - General Discussion
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Kromm's topic in Hotel Impossible
I thought there was some sleeping around going on myself. They seemed too protective of one another for it to be anything else. The owner reminded me of Mr Burns, haha. And that poor housekeeper! He threw her right under the bus, didn't he? Sure, she's the reason why your four properties (or was it just that one in particular) are failing. Barf. -
19 Things I Hate About You: How the Duggars Infuriate
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to Ljohnson1987's topic in Counting On
Why do these people eat canned things cold and right from the can?!?! I swear, I saw JBoob eating carrots and green beans (?) cold from a can on the weight loss episode. And we've seen Jana feeding Jordyn (?) peas right from a can. I don't get it. And if you're trying to lose weight, canned things are not the way to do it!!! Who would stick to a lifetstyle plan if all you ate was cold, canned carrots!!!???!!!! -
Past Seasons Talk: 7 Seasons and Counting
SpaghettiTuesdays replied to auntie thesis's topic in 19 Kids And Counting [V]
Maybe he was "vicious" because little Duggar hands squeezed him to death? These people and their treatment of animals is ridiculous. Saw the one where Jordyn (?) got her head stuck in the railing. They didn't edit out the part with Jchelle laughing, though they edited it out on Netflix. Tis strange. -
According to the link (US Weekly, maybe?) posted above, their engagement episode is next week (we already knew that) and the wedding episode will be next season, so right around Pickle's birth. I imagine we'll get bombarded with wedding stuff, a breaking news episode about Pickle, and then the actual wedding episode. Edit to delete a question I found on google.
