  1. I like both, but I would choose plain.
  2. I love ice cream and nuts in ice cream. Butter Pecan is my all time favorite and I also like several of the zany concoctions that Ben & Jerry's comes up with especially Bananas Foster, Cherry Garcia, and Chubby Hubby.
  3. Tonight I am thinking of making Spaghetti(Rigatoni Noodles) with Meat Sauce and Garlic Bread.
  4. As I sit here thinking about transitions they are really hard to deal with, but for the most part they make most people stronger in the end. At least for me that is what I found to be the case.
  5. The Baltimore Ravens defense looked fantastic last evening. Evening the CB did alright shutting down receivers. That is certainly a good sign. The offense was fine as well, but still needs work in my opinion. I really like RB Terrence West.
  6. This film in my opinion should get a nomination nod for an Academy Award when that time rolls around. The film was intense pretty much throughout feeling you were on a roller coaster ride and the soundtrack was just absolutely amazing.
  7. Here is a few that I have been lucky to watch there performances on DVD. 1. Angela Chase:(My So Called Life) Played by Clare Danes and she played the awkward teen who did so many things to fit in fantastic. It was too bad the show didn't last. 2. Lindsay Weir:(Freaks and Geeks) Played by Linda Cardellini who played the intelligent but teen who was rebelling in every way so well. 3. Amy Juergens:(The Secret Life of the American Teenager) Played by Shailene Woodley who had so many emotions to play in the 5 years the show was on air. She was outstanding.
  8. As for the characters under dressing during the winter scenes and at the lake saving Cheryl I did find that quite weird. It is even more bizarre because aren't they filming in Vancouver for the majority of scenes and I imagine it is actually cold there. As for Season One itself I went into this never really reading the comics before and only knowing the names of the major characters so I was quite blind to all the personality flaws people were talking about between the comic characters and the show characters. Going into the show I wasn't expecting much and really it did take some time for these young actors to gel together on screen. With the exception of Cole Sprouse as Jughead doing the narration which I thought was brilliant and then shortly there after Lily Reinhardt as Betty were outstanding. The plot definitely had some slow moments along the way, but one thing I can say for this show is they always kept you guessing and formulating ideas and plot schemes for the next week. This is even the case with Episode 10 with Archie's Dad getting shot and the development of which way they will go with that next Season. To me that is what kept me tuning in week to week. Not particularly the acting because at times it was sub par with the exception of the two actors I mentioned above. I think if they keep people guessing and talking about the show it will continue to be a success. Once it becomes predictable it will go down very quick. Let's hope they can keep the plots full of twists and our minds twisting and formulating scenarios for Seasons to come.
  9. I have never been a big Taylor Swift fan, however death threats if they did happen are just something that should never occur. I don't care how much you hate someone threatening to kill them is just plain wrong. Another thing is celebs in general feed off of this sort of news and drama because it gets them in the spotlight. Taylor hasn't been in the mainstream for bit lately so this is something(although sad) gets her name out there in the media and people talking. It's not just Taylor it is many of the celebs that do this sort of thing. I certainly hope though that the death threats weren't real because that shit is real and scary.
  10. First night of multiple games. Should be an enjoyable night. Waiting patiently to see if Ravens QB Ryan Mallett implodes as the starter.
  11. This episode was one of the most emotional episodes of all. When Serena takes Offred on that ride and doesn't tell her where they are going until the time where she gets out of the vehicle and approaches the home and brings out Offred's daughter. Offred is of course locked in the back of the car screaming to be let out while calmly Serena talks to Offred's daughter and returns to the front seat of the car. Finally Offred goes off as she should on Serena with no affect at all seemingly on Serena. I can't imagine the rage going through Offred. I am surprised she didn't bust through the glass and strangle Serena. I would have gone completely nuts.
  12. Pitbull- He is just awful and looks like a total slime ball up on the stage. Nicki Minaj- First, she thinks she is Gods gift to Rap and she is just foul. The sad thing is if you ever hear her actually sing it isn't bad at all. Beyonce- Sure she has talent, but she also is so damn full of herself. I can't stand it. Adele- See Beyonce Taylor Swift- I suppose if you enjoy the sort of music she writes she is a very talented song writer, but her live voice is very weak.
  13. @Petunia13 I totally understand that. When things become illegal and violent those situations definitely can leave you stone cold to family. The weird thing and I am taking this from an example I read in an article about Charles Manson's son. When Manson was said to be on his death bed his son wanted nothing more to go to his side to say he loved him. As crazy as that sounds, he truly stilled loved him. I have never walked in your shoes and I can only imagine how difficult it can be to have someone that you call family both destroy their lives and also attempt to take you down as well. There is a point though where you have to say to yourself is this safe for me to be around this person and if it is not than you have to do what you have to do for yourself. Hopefully someday your sibling will see that what she is doing is destroying herself and her family and change and maybe then you can start a process of mending things.
  14. Tonight I am going to grill some Chicken Breast with an Oil and Basil rub and Corn on the Cob, and Wild Rice.
  15. Very sad news of his passing after suffering with what is a horrible disease. Country music is not my style of music, but he had a voice that was just beautiful. May he rest in peace.
  16. I actually like Brussel Sprouts as well especially when they are roasted in a Red Wine Vinaigrette sauce. My dislike is Red Beets.
  17. Both are horrible situations to say the least. Women being raped go through a lot of psychological problems years and years after the rape as I can imagine these Handmaids do as well. I hope I will never have to go through a rape, but to be forced to pretend to enjoy it while being raped would be absolutely impossible. The ceremony if the world ever got to that as horrible as it would be laying being a woman's legs who I would be possibly getting pregnant for I could do without showing emotion like the Handmaid's do on the show. Now once I would have the child and it be turned over that would be another story.
  18. There were times I know in my Senior Year of High School I wanted to give up and without many tips to the Guidance Counselor and my sister being amazing even though I know she spent many nights crying and worrying she was my rock and really even though I am an adult is still to this day. My Grandmom also has been a huge support to us both. Yes we both succeeded in life and that is what our parents would have wanted. They didn't raise quitters in myself and my sister.
  19. I like Merlot and Zinfandel Wines, and I enjoy Irish Whiskey, and Tennessee Whiskey.
  20. I have been reading this thread and I understand people have issues going and sometimes things have to be done for your best interest. This being said and myself being brand new here I just want to add this. Whatever any of you are going through with your family, may it be your parents or siblings don't let the issue at hand stand between the bind you have as family. Let me tell you why I say that, it is because you never know when it can be taken away in a split second. You may all be saying I have heard that all before, well I live it every single day with my older sister. When I was 17 and my sister was 20 we received the worst phone call you could possibly imagine getting. I remember seeing my sisters face while standing there with the phone to her ear and then hanging up and stumbling through her words, "We have to go to the hospital now." Well we did not make it in time as both my parents passed from injuries from a car accident. All my past teen arguments with my Mom and Dad in the next several months surfaced and there wasn't a damn thing I could do about it. My older sister and I would fight and disagree like Cats and Dogs, but something snapped in especially her that day as she all of the sudden became an adult. Sure we disagree to this day, but by the end of the day it is worked out. I am 22 now and she is 25 and like I said there are things I can't get back, but between my sister and I there will never be things like that. This is just something to think about and keep your family close to you.
  21. This episode not being really focused on the Handmaids itself made it more boring to me as well, but the story had to be told for the whereabouts of Offred's husbands and to show he was still alive. Sometimes shows have to give background information to keep the story flowing for the future of the story and Offred's husband and his whereabouts will be a very important part to seasons ahead. So even though it was the most boring show of the season it was also an intergral part of it as well.
  22. My natural hair color is Strawberry Blonde, but have gone completely blonde in the past and now bring out the Red more. I get it professionally done.
  23. I do a lot of swimming and also some Yoga. As for weights for me it is more about keeping firm and doing low weight and high reps. Lunges and Crunches are also thrown into the routine for abs and ass.
