  1. I love the mountains, traveling to National Parks, flower gardening, beer and wine tastings. I also like swimming and yoga for relaxation and exercise.
  2. For one let me put this out there I am one not promoting the right for any player to sit, kneel, lay down or whatever during the National Anthem. For me I would always respect the Anthem and stand, but I am not Lynch or Kap or whoever else decides to do this during the anthem. It is there right to do whatever they damn well please, but for the media to just stir the pot on something that was actually on the down low is ridiculous. There are major issues happening in the NFL as it is the start of the pre-season right now. Players getting cut, traded, games being played, and injuries. So why bring this shit up again?
  3. As for the whole Marshawn Lynch sitting for the National Anthem I hope the media keeps it more or the down low a lot more than they did with Kap when he first did it. This whole thing has been played out and discussed over and over again and what new information will be brought out from the media attacking Lynch or the NFL? All it would really do would stir up fans and possible riots again after it was sort of settling down. Let the media cover the NFL with NFL Stories and not really political stories that just stir up stuff.
  4. I like the Organic Crunchy Peanut Butter.
  5. Going to just order a pizza for this evenings dinner.
  6. I really love this meal as well and also The Spicy Beef and Broccoli which I actually had last evening for dinner.
  7. Since I have been dating in my early teens I have never dabbled in the online dating scene. While in High School I dated boys either in my neighborhood or at my school. Then at college I dated guys that went to the same college. Now I have had dates and not really relationships with guys I've met at clubs and coffee houses, but nothing has materialized from that. I am only 22 years old and am starting my career in teaching on September 5th so it isn't really a huge priority of mine right now. Don't know if I'll ever go down the online dating path in the future as I have plenty of time to think on that. I actually am hoping that getting into my career and meeting co-workers and making new friends may lead to something that may end up to something in the future. I guess I will see and if it is meant to be it will happen.
  8. I love visiting the mountains and National Parks. The Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg Tennessee are on of my favorite places and quite beautiful. Also been to Zion National Park in Utah which is also beautiful and full of great trails. The Badlands National Park in South Dakota is another beauty.
  9. Pulled a Trader Joe's Spicy Broccoli and Chicken bag out of the freezer and cooked that up. Quick and Easy Saturday dinner.
  10. That is a very good idea. I have never had success with growing veggies so I stopped. I just love the beauty of the flowers and the anticipation of the annual flowers when they start to pop up.
  11. @ZaldamoWilder I totally understand where you are coming from. My situation is my situation and it brought my sister and I closer. We never really had a horrible relationship prior to my parents accident and death so that made it easier. We just had many different hurdles to overcome like me having to see my sister as not just a sister, but also at times as a parent figure. I was quite weird for a short period of time to adjust to. I understand that some things are way too much to keep family close, but there is also always the possibility of change and reconciliation. Everyone should keep an open mind to that even in the most severe cases. Sure it may never happen and people just go on with their lives separately, but there is the possibility of someone changing. All I am saying is for people to keep an open mind. Not to pursue anything to heal the relationships. The thing is there will come a time where keeping an open mind about someone will go away in an instance.
  12. The whole bored thing with the Ally Sheedy character makes her who she is and the transition she makes by the movies end. I agree that the foreign exchange kid in 16 Candles is great. Pretty in Pink is a bit more realistic than The Breakfast Club for sure as would be easy to see in real life that the rich guy being a jerk, but one friend actually being a good guy and falling for the girl from across the tracks. Plus the Ducky character played by Jon Cryer was an iconic character.
  13. Yes, I believe he is out for the season according to CBS Sports.
  14. @slf I am so sorry for the loss of Bella. You can never be prepared for a loss of a pet no matter how sick they they become. My heart goes out to you in your time of grief.
  15. I guess he does have nice teeth, but he doesn't have to overdo it and show them that much. @Katy M even The Breakfast Club? I can live without her other movies, but in my opinion The Breakfast Club is a classic.
  16. Tom Cruise irks the hell out of me and not for the fact he is involved in Scientology, but the fact he always walks around with this phony ass grin on his face. Come on life is not that perfect even though he has billions of dollars. He is just phony through and through.
  17. Scanned through this thread quickly and didn't see this cover mentioned. Gary Jules- Mad World(Original Tears For Fears)
  18. I agree they definitely didn't have Madelaine Petsch fall through the ice into the freezing water. I also am aware that people from the deep South would consider cold totally different from someone who resides in North. For me I live in the Mid Atlantic area and we can have mild winters and also several days that are in the single digits and are extremely cold. I would imagine the Vancouver area is the on location scene for shooting so most scenes if they are filmed outside are actually filmed in a non controlled climate and not a sound stage environment. Now the going through the ice was most likely digitally enhanced somehow I have know idea how they do that sort of thing, but where the gang is at the lake I would imagine they are actually outside. You are also correct when saying cold is relative. You know when I was a teen I would wear a light weight jacket in 20 degree Winter weather because of the fashion or it was for comfort. Now if it is really cold like that I bundle up and I am only 22 years old now, but I think teens focus more on what they look like and comfort of a light weight than being warm.
  19. I agree that the media stirs the pot usually one way and that is wrong, but in the Ray Rice incident it was brought out that both were drinking and she spit in his face. Now don't get me wrong that does not allow someone to put there hands or hit anyone and then drag them across the floor at all. What I am say with the whole Ray Rice incident is the penalty was way too much and it hurt him from ever coming back for any team in the future even when his girlfriend reconciled with him and he apologized and did community service. Like I said the length of his time off and his recent down years with injuries left him to be expendable by the NFL. Not the case for Zeke at all. He is young and in his prime and got charged with pretty much the same thing as Rice and he will be suited up and playing again for the Cowboys after 6 games at the longest. It just isn't right.
  20. These cases for the most part it comes down to what one person says against what the other person says. The problem here is like you said Zeke has done some pretty stupid stuff in his past that has made him look bad. Guilty or Innocent he is going to get some suspension for this. Will it be 6 games or reduced I don't really know. You look at a player like Ray Rice who was charged with DV and his incident was on video(at least part of it) and he hasn't played a down since and probably never will. His girlfriend has reconciled with him and Rice has apologized for his actions and has even spoken on DV many times. Yet he will not be touched by any teams. So 6 games seems like nothing when you really think about it. Then you also look at a different sort of case with Michael Vick and with cruelty to animals. He served his time and he came back into the league. There really isn't any connection with it all. It seems like if the player is needed then he will be signed no matter what(with exception of Aaron Hernandez of course). Then there is the case of Kap., I guarantee you if he was a Top 10 QB that was kneeling during the National Anthem you would be damn sure he would still be on a roster.
  21. Even if his appeal doesn't get the amount reduced which it probably will I still think the Cowboys have the inside track to win the division easily. The Giants might give them a close run, but I think the Cowboys should still win it.
  22. The whole 6 games thing is what I really was expecting it to be. How much this will affect the Cowboys IDK , but I do know that last year Dak relied quite a bit of Zeke and for 6 games he won't have him so it will be tough. The Cleveland Browns Head Coach Hue Jackson also squashed the idea that DeShone Kizer will not be the starter for the Browns even though he did great in the 1st Pre Season game.
  23. My favorite fast food is Chik Fil A. I love the regular Chicken sandwich and the Waffle Fries.
  24. Otis Spunkmeyer Chocolate Chunk cookies are my favorite cookies. Haven't had them in quite awhile, but they are wonderful.
